Friday November 6th

Junpei gets a message from Chidori. It goes immediately after class once this is done, so I spent it with Kenji although no rank increase occurred. Turns out you can continue onward in Tartarus now, according to Elizabeth.

Floor 165 is where Harabah starts. This area is definitely for trippers, I don’t know what else to say. The Kaiden Musha enemies are tricky and tend to result in long battles. Mahamaon would be best for them. Chances are when you get to the next terminal on floor 171 you will be almost out of SP.

The bosses on floor 171 are three Judgement Swords. Bring in Akihiko and don’t bring in anyone weak against electricity. Tempest Slash is a problem, especially when their attack is up. The Zio skills can be an issue for your other two characters. I had Ken with to Heal, specifically with Mediarama. Akihiko basically just attacked but his Zio defense was critical. Try to use Tentarafoo with your character (or Mitsuru later on). If you can get it to work on even two of them it’ll buy you a lot of time. It might be a long battle, but it’s really not that hard unless Tempest Slash really screws you over. 970 EXP and 3 Dense Rocks are your reward. Grab the precious egg and start continuing to floor 172 and onward.

Only nine more floors up is another Terminal (floor 180). There are three Stasis Giants here. These guys are not fun, as their slash techniques will slaughter your entire party. The only way I managed to survive was with Kali (null slash). All of their attacks besides Double Fangs (which took off about 40 total) are blocked. Hit rush and go get some rest. To make this go faster have Akihiko with Indra Bracers using Mazionga and keep him alive with Yukari and Ken’s Mediarama. 1044 EXP and Attack Mirror x3 are your rewards. Grab the Balm of Life.

Continuing on, there is another terminal on floor 190. The boss here is Hermit based, the Phantom Mage. You’ll want to bring Ken along to resist the Hama stuff. Have Yukari for Me Patra and Akihiko for Ziodyne. Use high level spells to whittle down the 2500 or so HP. I had a few critical hits along the way to help. 2786 EXP and a Homunculus were the spoils (along with a Precious Egg and Soma).

You should probably return to save. The next boss is 11 floors away, on floor 201. These three Royal Dancers are the kings of the Sexy Dance. Between that, Tentarafoo, and Poison Mist, you’ll have your fair share of status ailments to deal with. They do have one attack that does about 200 damage but most of their damage is reliant on your characters being charmed. If your hero gets it you could be in trouble. The good thing is these enemies have low HP and if you have Bracers for Akihiko / Mitsuru / Yukari then their elemental attacks will quickly wear the enemy down. 1250 EXP and a Broken Heart are your rewards.

Yet another boss on floor 211. This time it’s the Reckoning Dice. This thing blocks all of your magic attacks and puts a shield on himself at times to reflect your physical attacks. Megidolaon is a brutal spell and will require a Mediarama to heal from. Having Ken and Yukari along for this is a plus, though you’re going to need to rely on your best physical fighters to slowly drain all the HP from the Reckoning Dice. Critical hits make this battle go a lot faster. 3336 EXP and Sword of King are your battle spoils, and a Soma and two Attack Mirrors are by the staircase.

Three more floors and you’re at the dead end, floor 214. Grab the Old Document 08 and hit the teleporter.

Lots of new requests from Elizabeth of course. The flashing pink enemies in these areas (Ruinous Idols) drop Moon Tablets. Collect 3 and your reward is a Space Badge. Another easy task is to get 6 Pink Feathers from for a Berserker’s Seal. The Old Document 08 will net you 650000 Yen. If you can manage to defeat two Luxury Hands for 2 Gold Medals, you will get the Rocket Punch.

Class on November 7th Saturday skips right to after school. Went out with Yukari but Lovers did not advance. During the day of Sunday there is the Raven Claw for sale on TV. Maya was on, but no Hermit social link increase.

On Monday November 9th you meet Ryoji Mochizuki. You can stay awake for Academics or sleep for a condition increase. Spent some more time with Yukari but no increase. On Tuesday November 10th you’ll hear that Mitsuru is coming back. I went out with Kenji at Naganaki. Choose ‘are you in trouble’ and then one of the first two answers for the next question for Magician Arcana to reach level 8. Wednesday the 11th of November was spent with Yukari as Lovers Arcana rank reached 7.

A question is asked regarding the ancient Indian magical text. Choose Upanishads, not Mahabharata or Ramayana, for a Charm increase. Spent some more time with Yukari but the rank 7 increase just happened, so no rank increase this time. Friday the 13th was spent with Kazushi, but no Chariot rank increase.

Mitsuru and Yukari talk on Saturday November 14th. I spent some time with Yukari after school and then rested. Sid’s Jacket is for sale on TV Sunday the 15th. Star was around so I hung out with him to get Star to arcana rank 4. Tell him ’sounds like a good plan’ and ‘yea she would be’.

November 16th you’ll hear about the trip coming soon. Stay awake for some Academics. I spent the day with Yukari but no Lovers increase.

The trip begins on November 17th. You see an anime scene of the party leaving. Head to your room up the stairs and at the end of the hall.

The day after this, Yukari and Mitsuru speak again. Mitsuru’s Penthesilea gives rise to Artemisia. On the third day of the trip, November 19th, Mitsuru will have cheered up. Talk to Junpei, then go to your room. Some hot spring antics go on after this.

You’re back in school on November 21st. Stay up for an Academics increase in class. Spent the Saturday with Yukari and she got a call from her mom. Lovers reached rank 8, most of the options either both work or are obvious. During the evening Chidori gets a surprise visit and is out of the hospital.

On Sunday, Tanaka is selling the Shoes of Bane and some Mega Protein. Hell, I just went and visited him at Port Island Station to get Devil to rank 2. What a guy he is, make sure to repeat Placebo after him. During the Dark Hour of Sunday November 22nd, Fuuka wakes you up. At the fourth floor, choose your party.

Chidori is going insane and you must battle her. This lasted a turn for me. 16089 EXP is your reward. More scenes and Hermes turns into Trismegistus.

The next day is Labor Day so there is no school on 11 / 23. It seemed like a good day to spend with my good pal Tanaka. Tell him that you are interested in stocks maybe a little. He tells you a story and Devil Arcana reaches 3. Time will fly and soon it will be November 27th, Friday.

Saturday was spent with Yukari. Afterwards there is a scene with Junpei. Fool Arcana reached level 9. On Sunday Tanaka is selling a Sigma Drive and then I went to go visit the chap. Tell him you sure have thought about seeing through bathing suits. Devil Arcana reaches level 4. During class on Monday November 30th you get asked a question about Heian females. Choose so they stood out for some Charm. I went to Tanaka for Devil Rank 5 – choose ‘who’re you talking about?’ and ‘is it always about the money’. In the night, Aigis keeps saying Ryoji Mochizuki is dangerous.

December 1st is the day before the full moon. Spent some time with Tanaka yet again to get Devil to rank 6. Choose sounds fun and he’ll go off about his high school reunion. Since it’s the day before the full moon you’ll want to fulfill all your timed Requests and reach floor 214. However, note that you can get tired on this full moon, unlike the previous ones. On the Full Moon you will actually get the chance to do something after class. I spent it with Yukari but no Lovers increase. During the night you’ll see a scene with Aigis. You will also meet the Apriser, the union of the 12 Arcana.

Thursday December 3rd will skip right to the evening at the dorm. You will learn of the maternal being Nyx. A huge decision falls upon you and your choice will be due on the 31st of December, New Years Eve. Spent some time with Mamoru on Friday to get Star to rank 5 (choose ‘are you okay’ and then ‘we should come back again’). The following day I hung out with Maiko to get Hanged Man to 6 – choose ‘calm down’ and ‘you dont need that stuff’.

Check your TV on Sunday December 6th. The world might be ending but Tanaka is still slanging shit on his home shopping show. He’s selling a Brand Bag so just buy it to support him. I went to visit him at the Port for Devil 7. Choose ’sort of’ and ‘the organic one’. The next day you’ll hear about exams. Stay up for some Academics. Another day spent with the Devil. Choose ‘Oh, really’ and Devil will reach rank 8. The day after ask him if he is going to donate and he’ll laugh it off. Devil will reach level 9.

On December 9th Akihiko will begin to sense the urgency. You can stay awake or sleep during class. Spent today and the next day with Star Arcana. Just keep waiting for him and he’ll call about his mom. Star reached level 6.

There are new requests around this time although you can still only travel to floor 214. If you can get three Sand of Time you get Charun’s Hammer. There are also Rainbow Hairs that you need to get. For getting three of them from Daring Gigases will net you an Omega Drive.

You get a question in class to answer – pick Nice for some Charm points. Hung out with Mamoru but Star Arcana did not increase. Same thing with Mamoru the day after. Stay awake during class on 12 / 12 for some Academics though.

Tanaka is selling an Omega Drive on tv December 13th. I finally gave Akinari Kamiki (Naganaki Shrine) the Red Fountain Pen. After talking for a bit Sun Arcana reached rank 1. Monday December 14 exams start. For the first answer about Hogen Rebellion choose 1156. On 12 / 15 you’ll be asked about Tofu – choose Magnesium Chloride. The next day it’s a question about pseudo-Anglicism in Japanese – choose Mansion. The women of the Heian Period had white makeup so they stood out. Finally, Latte is not of Arabic descent. If your Academics are maxed you will ace the rest of it and have high score. Another King Card Set is your reward from Mitsuru. After Finals I spent some time with Yukari but no Lovers increase.

Tanaka is selling the Apocalypse on tv December 20th. Sun Arcana reached rank 2, just say ‘…really’ and ‘that’s a good point’. On Monday the 21st your exam results will be posted. With a maxed Academics and getting all the questions above correct, you’ll get the high score and some Charm increase. Also, visit Mitsuru for . Class with Mr. Edogawa will follow this and he asks about Himiko’s Sorcery – choose the middle answer for some Charm. I went out with Yukari again and she had something to say. Choose ‘…’ and Lovers will reach rank 9.

On the 22nd of December I managed to max Devil. You will now be able to create Beelzebub , Lord of Hell, the ultimate Devil Arcana. And you get that thank you letter from Tanaka. No school the next day on Wednesday (it is Emperor’s Day). I went to see Maiko as she ran away. I went with her parents to the Takoyaki stand. Hanged Man reached 7.

The next day is Christmas Eve and you get a chance to sleep or stay awake for Academics. Chihiro sent me a text to hang out on Christmas but I didn’t respond, hehe. I hung out with Kenji to get Magician Arcana to rank 9. Attempt to confront Emiri but you’ll be stopped. More time with Kenji the next day, 12 / 25.

Christmas Break is soon after 12 / 26. Sleep or stay awake in class for Academics. The afternoon was spent with Yukari but no lovers increase. The following day Tanaka is selling a Silver Plate. I spent the rest of Sunday with the Sun Arcana and Akinari. Say ‘I don’t know’ and and ‘Try not to talk so much’ to get Sun Arcana to reach 3.

Winter break is going on. Monday December 28th was spent with Maiko but no Hanged Man arcana increase.

The next day was also with Maiko. To get Hanged Man Arcana rank 8, choose ‘hamburgers’, ‘you did good’, and ‘choose your dad’.

Just one more day until the full moon. Yukari will visit you to tell you of Aigis returning. Mamoru was who I spent the day with to increase Star to 7. Choose ‘I don’t mind’ and ‘Don’t give up’ (first and last questions). Aigis requests you kill Ryoji. After some talking, her Persona Palladion turns to Athena.

December 31st is New Years Eve, The Full Moon, and the day you have to tell Ryoji what you are going to do. During the day I hung out with Hermit (choose ‘which bastard’?) to get it to increase to 6.

In the evening of the 31st you have the single most important decision in the game. If you choose the second option, you get the bad ending. Let him live and you will see his real form. He tells you that you need to reach the top of Tartarus by the promised day, January 31st 2010. Fool Arcana will have reached the final level of 10, allowing you to create Susano-o, the raging god. The Judgement Arcana reaches level 1.

You’ll go to the shrine on New Years. In the evening, Elizabeth calls to inform you that you can go on past floor 214. Not many new requests come out, in fact only one that involves you defeating the Reaper. Acquiring 3 Platinum Medals from Glorious Hands will net you Jack’s Glove.

As you go on to floor 215 Judgement Arcana will reach 2. On floor 220 you will find three Noble Seekers. They like using Vorpal Blade and high level magic. I would suggest trying to take one of them out instead of focusing on attacking them all. Their HP is not that high so once you get it down to two, you should have no problem maintaining your HP. It might be wise to have Ken to be around to use Mediarama (since he is not weak against an element). 1594 EXP and 15 Beads are your rewards. Judgement Arcana reaches social rank 3. Grab the Precious Egg also before continuing past 220.

As you get to floor 224 in Adamah the Judgement Arcana will increase to 4. Four more floors (228) and you’ll be at another boss. This time it is against three Carnal Snakes. They like to use Mudoon and Agi attacks. Worst yet they can drain around 175 SP at times. Might as well bring Koromaru so that Mudoon isn’t an issue for him (and he’s strong against Agi). Bufu is the only attack magic that works well so bring Mitsuru. 1711 EXP and 3 Cup of King are your battle rewards. Afterwards Judgement Arcana reaches rank 5.

Travel to floor 236 for a single boss, the World Balance. Hariti is a nice Persona for this battle as she repels Ice and is not weak against any of the attacks World Balance has (basically high level magic and Megidolaon). Hariti also learns Mediarahan which will keep you full every turn. Casting high level magic back at it takes off a few hundred and is generally your best bet. Mitsuru is especially powerful when she uses Mind Charge and then does double damage. 4252 EXP and a Mediolaon Gem are your rewards. Judgement Arcana will increase to Social Link 6. Also a Precious Egg and two Balms of Life.

When you reach floor 240 Judgement Arcana will reach 7. Four more levels for another terminal and three Fierce Cyclops. These enemies are tricky as their Vorpal attack will take off about 200 to each. This is another battle where Mediarahan is what you should be using with the hero. Have Yukari and Mitsuru spam their ma-dyne elemental spells and then bring in someone that won’t use Ziodyne. The problem is these enemies charge up and then their attacks are devastating. Towards the end they’ll use Last Resort, a destructive attack to everyone in the battle. If you can survive, 2088 EXP and 3 Coin of Kings are your reward. Judgement Arcana reaches rank 8, and of course there is a Soma for you to grab.

The floor 252 boss will take some preparation. The Jotun of Grief absorbs all but Pierce attacks, so you know who to bring in – Ken, Yukari and Aigis. Also give the hero a piercing weapon. Have everyone attack and use Mediarahan if you get hit with Megidolaon. Hope for some critical hits to make the fight go faster, or if he Infuriates your party you’ll do double damage. Primal Force and his physical attacks do decent damage also. If you attack with anything other than Pierce attacks he will drain them and you will never beat him. Your reward though is 4500 EXP and a Fine Statuette, not to mention Judgement Arcana reaches 9 and you get two Somas.

Continue up a few floors. On floor 254 you’ll have reached the top and Judgement Arcana will reach level 10. You can now create Messiah the Savior. Now that you have reached the top, go back and save on floor 1. See the big door on your right? This is an optional dungeon, Monad.

The enemies here are ridiculously tough. I don’t even bother with the enemies that have no weaknesses. Always makes sure to attack your enemy from behind. The other matter is that once you start exploring this part of Tartarus it’ll take you a few all outs to kill these enemies. Be careful not to die and stick to the first floor generally. This side quest only goes to ten floors but the teleports are few and far between (though they do exit). At the very top of the tower is 1000000 Yen. Once you get to floor 254 you should spend the rest of your time leveling up here; it’s rather easy to reach level 90 with the hero and high 70’s with the other characters.

On 1 / 2 I spent some time with Star Arcana Mamoru to get the rank up to 8 (choose ‘you should get some more’). On 1 / 3, whatever Tanaka is selling is already sold out. Spent the rest of the day with Akinari for Sun Arcana Rank 4. Your answers should be ‘Yeah, I like reading’ and ‘If it’s boring I’ll stop’.

Monday 1 / 4 Hermit reached 8 (choose ‘guys like younger chicks’. The next day Star rank increased to 9. Choose ‘and you won’ and then do a victory celebration. Graciously take his extra noodles when he offers.

Winter vacation will be over soon. January 6th was spent with Maya to get Hermit to 8. Say ‘hurry up and tell me’ and then ‘what is he like’. Seems she’s talking about, well, you. Hermit the next day too to get it to rank 9 (choose ‘no way!’ and then ‘what are you planning’).

Class starts on the 8th of January. For some Charm, choose the bottom answer since they’re both correct. After class go to the rooftop with Junpei for a minute. The rest of the day was spent with Kenji and he gave me a Handmade Choker. Magician has been maxed and Surt the ultimate Magician Arcana can be used. Sunday I had plans with Yukari and gave her a Brand Purse (say ’some people do’). There is no school Monday so I spent it with Hermit but no increase.

Back to school on January 11th. I dozed off and my condition reached great. Went out with Kaz to increase Chariot Arcana although the rank did not go up. When you get back everyone is going to Hagakure. At this point you’ll realize who is behind the cult that you have been hearing about.

On Wednesday January 13th I talked to Yukari and she invited me to her room. She had a gift for me, Yukari’s Strap. Lovers Arcana reached rank 10. Cybele can now be created. The next day I talked to Mitsuru and hung out to get Empress to rank 1. Chariot reached rank 9 the next day, just choose ‘I’m fine’. Star the next day maxed at 10. Mamoru gave me a car key.

No school on Sunday of course. Tanaka is selling a Salvation Badge. I spent the rest of the day with Maya maxing Hermit at rank 10. You can then create Arahabaki the aboriginal god. You now have Screenshot Data. In class the next day you have a question to answer. Choose Circe for the correct answer and some Charm. Afterwards Hanged Man reached 9 (the answer is obvious – choose the first one). The next day was spent with Mitsuru getting Empress to rank 2. Just ask her if it’s her first time.

On January 20th Hanged Man rank 10 was maxed after the proposal. Attis the god of rebirth is now available. The next day Empress reached rank 3. Ask her to treat you and ask her if it makes her happy. Agree to forget about it. The next day was spent with Chariot but no increase to rank 10 yet.

Saturday was spent with Mitsuru again. Ask her if something happened and then say it’s the result of love. In class you get a question about saying goodbye so choose the middle one. After class you have an appointment with Ms. Toriumi and then get you talk with Aigis. Finally Chariot reached 10 and Kaz gave me some Sports Tape. The ultimate Chariot Arcana, Thor, the mighty god of thunder. Tuesday January 26th was spent with Mitsuru and Empress reached 5. Choose ‘im glad you enjoyed it’, ‘a motorcycle?’ and ‘lets go for a ride’.

The 27th, Wednesday, was spent with the chubby kid at the mall. He asks you a bunch of questions so answer with ‘Pheromone Coffee’, ‘Green’, ‘Hagakure Bowl’, and he wants an Odd Morsel. This guy is Nozomi Suemitsu and Moon rank 1 will increase.

You will have an opportunity to increase Academics by staying up on 1 / 28. The rest of the day was spent with Mitsuru as Empress reached rank 6 (choose ‘can i get a book for you?’, ‘thats news to me!’ and ‘you have to reconsider’). On 1 / 29 Moon reached rank 2 just by spending time. The day before the full moon (1 / 30) I hung out with Mitsuru and offered to go with her. Empress reached rank 7.

On Sunday watch the Tanaka show for some good memories. It’s a full moon today, and it is tonight you must fight Nyx. Spent the final day with Akinari as Sun reached rank 5 after I reprimanded him.

The party meets in the evening to make some plans. When you speak with Mitsuru to go to Tartarus, this will be it and you cannot go back. The obstruction on floor 254 disappears when you get there. Save at the terminal on floor 258 and then go up for a boss. Jin is waiting for you here. If you’ve done any leveling up in the optional dungeon Monad this guy should be a pushover.

A few more floors up and you’ll reach Takaya. He’s still crazy. I like using Thunder Reign (Odin) on Takaya just like on Jin. Physical attacks are useful because you’re likely to get crit hits on occasion. The ensuing all out attacks should do well over 1000 damage. Expect lots of -dyne magic attacks and he’ll use Mind Charge too.

Bring your best party to the top.

At the top of the tower you will see Nyx Avatar. This is an odd battle. The first arcana only has about 1000 HP so you can defeat it easily. But you’ll notice Nyx Avatar is still alive and it changed the arcana to Magician. As you defeat the different Arcana you’ll want to use Tactic – analyze each time to see which elements changed. Nyx Avatar will get two attacks per round. Also note that when you get critical hits you can’t do all outs. I tend to use Thunder Reign unless they are strong against Zio. Often times I had to switch to Hariti for Mediarahan.

The first Nyx Avatar is so easy there is no explanation needed. For the second one, just don’t use fire. The third one uses Ice and the fourth drains Garu (wind) skills. It’s pretty obvious but the fifth one is strong vs electricity. This is the one you can’t destroy with Thunder Reign.

The sixth one will cast revolution and then use an Almighty attack and Fatal End. It nullifies slash attacks. The next arcana will use marin karin on you and nullifies garu skills (think Yukari / lovers). Also will use Holy arrow, Tentarafoo and Almighty Attack. Arcana number 8 is Chariot Arcana so all physical attacks don’t work. Expect Chariot to use Power Charge and then physical attacks like Heat Wave and God Hand. Justice Arcana is up next at number 9. Physical attacks work, but Agi and Bufu don’t. Expect lots of Hama attacks coming your way. You probably have enough Homunilingus to make it a non factor.

The hermit arcana is up next at 10. Lots of Mudoon type attacks coming your way, and it nullifies Garu skills. Fortune Arcana uses all elements so you’re going to have to rely on physical attacks to do any damage. At 12 is strength arcana. Like Chariot, it will cast Power Charge and you shouldn’t be using physical attacks on it (though all magical attacks work). It will use Tempest Slash on you and other physical attacks.

Hanged Man is up next and it will use lots of ailment / death attacks. You can use anything on it though. The next one is death. It has three attacks and seems to be strong against everything. It also has a Moonless Gown ability where you’ll have to wait. This is probably the first time you should use Stand By ability. It’ll take the gown off soon enough and you can start blasting it again. The AI is frustrating here toggling the full assault / stand by, and if you get charmed with Night Queen you might end up using Diarahan on Nyx like me.

Some scenes after the battle and you’ll be in the Velvet room. There is one last battle and you will be getting slaughtered for 9999 damage. Stick with it and you will be able to unleash the Great Seal.

The party visits Chidori the day after. She still won’t give in and Junpei seems to support her. When you gain control, you can check the tv for a Brand Watch.

After a good night of sleep, Monday September 7th begins with Yukari wondering about Junpei and Chidori. Hidetoshi came to me at lunch but when I went to student council he wasn’t there. Turns out the hero is suspected of the cigarette butt, however Hidetoshi has your back. The Emperor Arcana reached 8.

You still can’t go to Tartarus so just concentrate on other things. More interrogation on Tuesday September 8th. Spent some time with Photography to get Fortune Arcana to 3. Still no Tartarus when you get back.

You’ll get asked a queston on September 10th. Choose “Come Here” for a charm increase. Lots of scenes today with Shinjiro and Chidori. Managed to get Chariot up to link level 7 in the afternoon and then you’ll get a call from Elizabeth in the evening. You can continue onward past floor 114 in Tartarus, so sign up for some requests and begin the climb in the new area.

The new area Tziah is all gold. After a few fights Fuuka learns Heal Wave (restores health as you go from floor to floor). As for the new requests in this area, you’ll need to collect 3 Gold Handguards for 200000 yen. They are from the glowing pink enemy’s around here, Hakurou Musha. There are also Empress’s Mirrors that you need to collect. Get 5 Empress Mirrors for some Soma (the enemy you are looking for is the Elegant Mother). You will also see Opulent Hands from time to time. If you signed up for the Silver Medal quest you can get one of these from them, and you’ll get a Bone for Koromaru as your reward. It was at this time that I was finally able to get Orthrus with Dodge Slash. This can be done much earlier but I didn’t level up Ose until recently. Anyway, find Ose and level him up to 24 and he’ll get Dodge Slash. Now use fusion between him and either Titan or Jikokuten, both strength arcana. Just make sure Orthrus has Dodge Slash. The Tigerhide Belt (armor) is your reward for this. The next fusion request is very easy. You need to have Oumitsunu at level 33 and bring the Persona back to Elizabeth. You will be able to create the Persona Nata Taishi with the Machine Core.

Floor 122 is where the next terminal is. The bosses here are pretty tough. You’ve got three Arcane Turrets to deal with, and they love lowering your defense and then spamming medium zio skills on you. They also have a Fear attack. It’d be nice to find a Persona that is strong against Electricity but has Bufu skills as well. I used King Frost in the battle and that worked out good enough with Mabufula. Mitsuru’s Tentarafoo can really screw these guys over, because you only need a few turns of Bufula knockdowns and the ensuing all outs. 950 EXP and three Massive Wheels are your reward.

During class on September 11th you get asked a question. Choose the Hermetica for some charm. The next day you get a chance to stay up during class for some added Academics. After school Junpei will be visiting Chidori. Justice Arcana reached social link 8 (choose “talk to teacher” to comfort her).

The dark hour of September 12th is forced upon you. Pharos visits and your Death Arcana reaches level 6. I had plans with Chihiro on Sunday afternoon (though you can do something else and get the beads on sale on tv). In the evening the party was rested enough to take on the floor 135 boss. The Sleeping Table is not fun. You’ll need to revive a lot from Hamaon and it has some other attacks (Megidola and an all-party agi spell) that take off a ton. Good luck. Bring the agi-strong members Junpei and Koromaru. The other character should be a healer type character (hopefully not Mitsuru since she’s weak vs. agi). A level 43+ Yukari would be best as Mediarama will heal the Megidola damage. Hope for critical attacks from either you, Junpei or Koromaru. A level 42 Saki Mitama would be ideal for a Persona as it’s strong against fire and has Mediarama at this level. For winning you acquire a Megido Gem and 2535 EXP. Grab two Balm of Life and a Soma nearby.

The next few floors are pretty generic. Floor 139 is the cut off to the second part of Tziah. Grab the Old Document 06 and this will be it until October. You get some Beads for the Old Document once you give it to Elizabeth. Spend the rest of your time until then getting your vast army leveled up as equally as possible.

Back in school on Monday September 14th you get asked another question. Choose that it’s indeterminable and you get the correct answer for a Charm increase. Spent some time at Student Council to finally bring it up to Social Link level 9. Just tell him not to blame himself.

Tuesday September 15th was spent with Chihiro. Justice Arcana reached Social Link level 9 but there are lots of options for you. Assure her that Mitsuru will be fair but don’t defend Chihiro – let her do the talking. The rest of the answers should be simple. Not much is new at the dorms besides some talk of Chidori.

You’ll hear about Yukari dressing as a maid on September 16th. Decided to hang out with zee home ec teacher Bebe. For Temperance Social Link 2, choose “Japan is great” for maximum points. On Thursday September 17th you’ll hear more about the Cultural Festival on Saturday. Went with Chihiro after school but it wasn’t ready for link 10 yet.

Friday evening there is a typhoon. As you fall asleep Igor summons you. You can now fuse up to four personae at once. You sleep all the way until the 21st! The typhoon is gone fortunately, and today is a holiday. I went to Port Island Station, to the west part near the slums. Go up right away and enter. Play rock paper scissors with the gambler and win, and you’ll get Mahjong Tile (this is of course if you signed up for the request). Return the Mahjong Tile to Elizabeth for a Berserker’s Seal. I paid the guy in the center who looks like the host of the tv show 20000 yen.

Another holiday on Tuesday September 22. Since school is out I went to the bookstore and Hierophant Social Link reached 9. The 23rd of September is the Autumnal Equinox and another day off of school. You’ll likely get called the night before for something to do today. I spent it with Kaz but no increase with Chariot Arcana yet.

Back to school on Thursday September 24th. During class you can stay awake for Academics or rest. After class was spent with Maiko but no social rank increase. Friday the 25th was spent with Hidetoshi but again the Emperor rank did not raise. The same on Saturday with Chihiro.

Sunday they are selling the Skrep. This is a weak entry as you can find these in Tartarus around where you are right now. Played some MMORPG with Maya and again no link upgrade. The dark hour is forced tonight as Pharos comes to warn you of the full moon.

Stay awake during class on Monday September 28th for an Academics increase. Finally maxed the Emperor Arcana and got a Cheap Light from Hidetoshi. With the Emperor Arcana maxed you can fuse Odin the Storm God. Better yet I maxed Courage to Badass level so that Courage / Academics / Charm were all maxed. Tuesday was spent with Chihiro but it did not reach level 10 yet. Was planning on maxing Justice the following day (Wednesday) but spent some time on the Fortune instead.

You get another opportunity to sleep or stay awake during class on October 1st. After class I went to Chihiro’s house and maxed the Justice Social Link. This allows Melchizedek to be created. Went out with Kenji the following day but the rank did not increase.

October 3rd and you can sleep or stay awake in class for Academics. Decided to spend some time with Yukari since the charm is maxed. Say the nice things and Lovers Arcana Social Link will increase to rank 1. Since tonight is the night before the full moon, spend all the time you want in Tartarus training. Save, and the next day you’ll go straight to night time.

A few of your members are gone and there are two enemies it seems. When you get there, Ken and Shinji still aren’t there. Strength and Fortune are though. You can only attack Strength at first. The horse though (Fortune) has a Roulette that it summons. It’ll take you a while to manipulate this, but the general idea is you want the pin in the southeast to hit the blue when you press x. It won’t land on that square but will tend to land on the square after it. Sometimes the horse cheats though and makes your squares (you are aiming for the blue ones, not red) really thin and thus nearly impossible to hit. Hopefully you can figure it out quick because this battle is hardest at first when both enemies are here. Strength has some decent attacks including charming your entire party and using wind attacks (have Yukari with, and don’t use Junpei / Garu weak personae). Once Strength is done for you’ll be able to go after Fortune. Use physical attacks as criticals now result in group beatdowns. A whopping 10898 is your EXP for this.

As you return to the dorm for the night, Ken and Shinjiro are still gone. You’ll see some more scenes with those two. Eventually Takaya of Strega gets involved. Something bad happens.

The next day you’ll attend something during the day. Mitsuru talks to you during the day and then Akihiko’s Polydeuces becomes Caesar. Spent the day with Maiko to get Hanged Man to Social Rank 4. When you get back to the dorm there will be more discussion about the previous night. The team is in disarray, to say the least.

People won’t be around school on the 6th of October because of exams. I gave another 10000 yen to the Tanaka guy in Port Island then spent some time on Hierophant. It was on rank 9 so it didn’t go up but it should be close. Back at the dorm on October sixth and Elizabeth calls to inform you that you can continue in Tartarus now. Ken’s Nemesis turns into Kala-Nemi, and he returns to the dorm. You still can’t actually go to Tartarus tonight, but soon.

The dark hour hits on Tuesday night. Pharos visits and the Death Arcana reaches level 8. In the morning of October 7 you have a question. Choose the middle answer about evil spirits for a Charm increase. After class I maxed out the Hierophant Social Link at 10. The old couple gives you some Persimmon Fruit. Kohryu is now available through fusion. At the dorm tonight, the party is ready to move onto Tartarus.

The path at floor 139 is not blocked anymore. Take this all the way up to floor 146 where the terminal is. There are three Hell Knights on this floor. Expect a difficult battle as their moves take off a large amount, especially considering there are three of them. The only solution I had was using Sexy Dance, and even though it would only work on one of three or two out of three, that still helps the cause as that’s one less enemy attacking you. Mediarama is a must so hopefully you have it with a Persona or Yukari. Mitsuru’s Mabufula does a nice amount of damage throughout the fight. This will likely be a slow, drawn out battle. 1126 EXP and 3 Sword of Queen’s are your reward. There is a Precious Egg on floor 146 too that you can grab before continuing.

Numerous requests open up as you enter floor 140. Sign up for the one with the flashing pink enemies, the Crimson Turrets. They drop Red Armor Plates and you need two of them for Spirit Bracers. The Wondrous Magus creatures drop Gold Rings and you will need to bring back three of them for 340000 yen. To get the Old Document 07 you’ll need to make it to floor 164. For this you get some Soma. Might as well go for the Sushi request. Just head to Naganaki Shrine and go to the northwest part and search. You need Academics at level 6 to acquire it, as an old lady will come by and give you Inari Sushi. This nets you the Sorcerer’s Mark. Getting the Shadow Crystal will not be easy. You’ll have to search the floors 140-165 plenty of times. Coming back later when all the enemies are scared of you might be helpful. Your reward is a Bus Stop Sign for this.

Thursday October 8th is another day where everyone is gone studying for exams. I went out to eat with Mamoru since my courage was high enough. The Star Arcana Social Link reached 1. During class on Friday you can stay up for an Academic increase or sleep. After class was spent getting Devil Arcana to level 1 with Tanaka (after 40000 yen). Another opportunity to sleep or stay awake on Saturday October 10th. Hung out with Mamoru after class for Star Social Rank 2.

During the evening I took the second trip to Tartarus in this area. The next terminal is on floor 160. The boss here is a tough Mythical Gigas. It likes using fire and physical attacks on your whole party. Despite this I brought Mitsuru as her Ice damage helped immensely. Try to low his defense and just use spells. The trick is staying alive so have Mediarama ready at all times. Your reward is 3003 EXP and a Wand of King. Grab the Soma and two Magic Mirrors on the side.

Not much else to do in Tartarus besides advance to floor 164 and get the Old Document 07. One of the requests (the Shadow Crystal) will also take you a while I’d imagine.

No school on Sunday the 11th of October. Tanaka is selling R / C Geta on tv. Spent Sunday increasing Star Social Link to 3. Another day off from school on Monday the 12th before Finals on Tuesday. Got the Inari Sushi at Naganaki and then spoke with a crying Maiko. Choose the first and then second answer, and Hanged Man will reach 5.

On Tuesday October 13th, exams will start. They last until the 17th. The answer for how long love lasts is 2 years. Choose Moses for the next question. The third question has to be a glitch – it is Summer Vacation but I don’t know how you were supposed to know that. The final answer is Fifteen Years.

After midterms I spent some time with Yukari to get Lovers to rank 2. Choose pink’s cute as Yukari likes that color. Say that’s messed up instead of invite me in. Sunday October 18th Tanaka is selling Indra Bracers. Hermit Arcana Social Link 5 was reached as Maya the teacher opened up some more.

You get your exam results on Monday October 19th. Since my academics were maxed and all the questions were right, I got the highest score. Charm was increased. Later in class you’ll get asked a question and if you choose Friday you’ll have another Charm increase. Went out with Yukari again and a little boy ran around us at the mall. Lovers Arcana reached rank 3.

Fuuka gets some big news in the morning of Tuesday October 20th. The resolution in her heart allows her Persona Lucia to be Juno. The rest of the party comforts her. I met with Kenji after class to get Magician to rank 7. Choose Bride to be magazine and then cheer him on to get Magician to upgrade. The following day was spent with Yukari Chan. She had a call interrupt the date – her mother is getting remarried. Lovers arcana reaches 4.

A question is asked of you on October 22nd. The correct answer is Mansion. I also visited Mitsuru to get the reward for the top score on the last exam. It’s the Queen Card Set. Had not been to the Photography club with Keisuke in a while so I did that. Tell him complaining won’t help and Fortune Arcana reaches 4.

Edogawa asks you a question during class on October 23rd, Friday. The founder of Theosophy is Madam Blavatsky and if you get this right you get a Charm increase. Afterwards I went to practice with Kazushi. Yuko took me to the office but don’t lie. Look away, and Chariot Arcana will reach rank 8. I spent the following day with Yukari but Lovers didn’t level up. Sunday I had plans with Yukari but again Lovers did not reach rank 5.

The afternoon of Monday October 26th you will have another question. Coffee is Arabic so choose that for some Charm. Spent another day with Yukari, but she lost her wallet. Follow her and beat the punks up, and Lovers will reach rank 5. Tuesday the 27th goes straight to after school so I spent it with Keisuke, raising Fortune Arcana to rank 5 (choose ‘you should tell your dad’). Since there is a full moon in a week, Pharos comes by. Wednesday the 28th was spent with Yukari, but no level up for Lovers.

Another question for you in class Thursday October 29th. Choose Tofu for the magnesium chloride question for some Charm. Spent another day with Yukari that ended with no rank increase. The following day was spent with Fuuka to get Priestess to rank 1, but I’m going to stop doing that so Yukari does not get upset. The final day of October, the 31st, was spent on the rooftop with Yukari. Choose anytime and Lovers Arcana will reach rank 6.

The first day of November is Sunday. Turn on the Tanaka show and buy a Berserker’s Seal if you want. I first went to Naganaki Shrine to talk to the striped shirt guy but he needed a pen, and then I hung out with Mamoru but no rank increase. Back at the dorm, talk to Koromaru and grab the Red Fountain Pen. The day after this is the day before the full moon. I spent it with Yukari but no rank increase. The Fool Sees Social Rank reaches 6 tonight. Finish all of your timed requests and build up while you can.

November 3rd is a big day. It’s the last shadow to defeat. The day goes straight to late night, the dark hour. The last shadow and Strega are out there. The first two enemies you see are Strega, Jin and Takaya.

You finally get to see these guys in battle. Takaya likes to use different elemental attacks and then shoot you once in a while. There is also Megido and he can use Mind Charge. Jin on the other hand likes to increase his attack and then use Mudo and Mudoon. Try to take him out first. I like Junpei, Mitsuru and Yukari. Have them attack the same target, give them agi / bufu / garu bracers respectively, and then they should be able to cast those high level spells until Jin is taken out. Knock these dweebs out and 14426 EXP is yours.

Some scenes and then you are in battle against Hanged Man. You’re going to want to destroy those shadows. The big Hanged Man shadow will summon smaller shadows. It has an Akasha Arts earth-based tactic that can take off a ton. Armed and Ready turns one of it’s summoned shadows into a bomb. The worst attack might be God Hand but at least that’s on one character. It restores the three barriers from time to time. If you can manage to destroy the last barrier while no summoned enemies are around, you can get an all out attack. 14971 EXP is your reward.

The party is in good spirits afterwards. You just saved the world. Wednesday November 4th you’ll get a visit from Pharos. The Death Rune will be maxed at Social Link level 10. Thanatos is now available, the Bringer of Death. You will head right back after school for the celebration. Takeharu Kirijo comes to say thanks. Fool Arcana reached level 7.

Strangely enough the Dark Hour comes. The party heads to Tartarus to see Shuji Ikutsuki and Aigis. Lots of crazy scenes go on here.

The day after the full moon is another slow day. Yukari greets you on June 9th and talks about Fuuka. Chihiro and Kazushi come up during lunch so I went to the library with Chihiro (have a Justice arcana to make it more likely to increase your social rank). It increased to level 3 for me here.

At night Mitsuru and Akihiko are visiting Fuuka at the hospital. You’ll hear about the new Antique Shop at the Paulownia Mall. Just sleep, you’ll probably be tired at this point after last night. You’ll probably get some phone calls asking about what you’re doing the following Sunday.

Mitsuru greets you on the way to school on June 10th. Stay awake during class for raised academics. After school I went to the shrine to put in 1000 Yen like usual then equipped a Hanged Man Persona and went out with Maiko. She wanted to go to the Wild Duck Burger. It was a bit dramatic but Hanged Man Arcana increased to 2. On the night of June 10th you can’t go to Tartarus again so study tonight.

The next day you’ll get a text message from Akihiko during class. You can spend the rest of 6 / 11 doing whatever you want. Also realize that new weapons and armor are out at the police shop (though the Toy Bow and Spiked Bat are still better for Yukari and Junpei respectively). Lots of new requests to sign up for so you should do so (remembering that the enemies don’t drop the items unless you signed up). I spent the rest of the day with Chihiro and then back at the dorm, Fuuka is here.

Fuuka officially joins and the party wonders about the arcana’s that attack during full moons. You are told to pay more attention to the moon’s phases (which you already have been by utilizing the no-tired effect during night’s before the full moon). It’s another chill night at the dorm so study and soon it’ll be June 12th Friday.

During the walk to school Yukari wonders if things weren’t forced with Fuuka. I stayed at the Student Council until evening. Fuuka is still moving in the next day. During the dark hour of Friday 6 / 12 you’ll be visited by that weird boy. You can ask him his name if you want, which is Pharos. This unlocks the Death Arcana Social Link.

You get some good news on Saturday June 13th. Mitsuru will be joining the front lines and you can use her for battle, now that Fuuka has taken over to analyze enemies. I spent some more time with Chihiro and then got even more good news back at the dorm. Elizabeth calls to inform you that you can continue on past level 40.

Probably a good night to go to Tartarus. Past level 40 is a similar looking area of Arqa but with tougher enemies. You’ll definitely want a Persona with a wind based attack (Garu). Lots of enemies weak to electricity (Zio) too.

The next terminal is on floor 47 (with the next boss). Lots of tough enemies especially near the later floors. The glowing pink enemies around here are Lustful Snakes (you’ll know them if you signed up for the 3 Snake Scale request). They are weak to Bufu and drop Snake Scales if you signed up for the quest – 3 of them nets you 46000 Yen. There are also Bronze Dice on floors 41-46 that drop Bronze Figurines. You need 5 of them to acquire a Sigma Drive. The party was tired right around level 47 so I turned back to the dorms.

It’s Sunday June 14th. You likely already have plans. Do that and then rest in the evening (especially if you went to Tartarus the night before). On Monday June 15th you’ll again be bugged by Yukari about Fuuka being pushed into the group. Later in the afternoon you get a question in class – choose Colon for some raised Academics. I spent some time with Hidetoshi after class in the Student Council room to upgrade the Emperor Arcana to Social Link 6. The party was rested so I went to Tartarus again.

I stopped at floor 47. There are three tough Golden Beetles here, and they all use Tarukaja to start the battle (increase attack power). They are all weak against Electricity so you’ll want to be using Zio when you can. Just don’t use Bufu. Really though, just use Zio on all of them and then group attack them – they should be about dead at this point.

The next boss is at floor 59. Of course there is a terminal here too, so use it to go back and restore your HP / SP. This is the Emperor Arcana Intrepid Knight. It has Mind Charge which raises it’s focus. It’s most difficult attacks are Magarula which will do about 150 to everyone that doesn’t have wind protection and worse to Junpei (since he’s weak vs. that). He also has a wind attack to use on one character that does about the same. You will need to have Cadenza ready if you want to survive this. Physical attacks are a waste because he’ll dodge them – use your best magic and Mitsuru will be a huge help with Bufula (hopefully about 60 damage each time). Zio should do about 40 damage to him and Yukari should do well since the wind does nothing to her. Your reward for another challenging solo boss battle is 508 EXP and a Sword of Queen.

Five more floors and floor 64 is another barricade. Get the Old Document 03. Return the Old Document 03 to Elizabeth to fulfill the request. Your reward is the Traesto Gem.

Now it’s June 16th, Tuesday. Mitsuru greets you, saying you don’t have to bring her to Tartarus anymore. After school you can do some of these new requests. The Goggle-Eyed Idol is at the Antique Shop that opened up at the mall. You just need to trade in two Turquoise’s to get it. Your reward is the Bladefist. Sign up for the ’shell of a man’ quest and go to the Laboratory in school. You’ll get the Anatomical Model and bring this back for a Land Badge reward. Once I was done with this I spent the rest of Tuesday with Chihiro.

Stand up for her with the incident at the Drug Store and your Justice Arcana will rise to level 4. Rest or study at night especially if you went to Tartarus the night before.

Wednesday June 17th begins with news about the Art and Music stuff opening up. In class you’ll have a question from Mr. Edogawa (choose Shamanism for some Charm). I joined the Photography club after class (in the Science Room, first floor). You’ll meet Keisuke Hiraga, and Fuuka is here too. For joining the club and meeting the members the Fortune Arcana Social Link starts at level 1. After introductions you’ll be back at your place. Another phone call at night (from Chihiro this time) and then I studied at night.

Thursday the 18th is another quiet day. I spent it improving the Chariot Arcana. Kazushi opened up some more as he skipped practice and the hero went to go see him afterwards at Iwatodai. Chariot advanced to rank 6. I rested at night and then Friday is another uneventful day. After eating a Prodigy Platter the hero did manage to rise from level 4 to 5 in Academics (to “Smart”). You hear more about Mitsuru and her family on the way to school on Saturday June 20th. You’ll meet Koromaru the dog after class. During the evening the party will be upstairs meeting with the chairman. You’ll talk more about the shadows and it seems Mitsuru is hiding something about Tartarus (could it be related to her family owning the school?) It’ll be evening on Saturday so just study or go to bed.

Sunday June 21st there were plans with Chihiro to go out. There was an opportunity to give her a gift but I didn’t have anything that made her happy. It’ll be night time again soon and no one will be around tonight. Go back to the room and study and sleep.

Monday June 22nd comes along and Yukari wonders what’s going on with the shadows. Choose Chinese in class to help Junpei and raise your own Charm. I spent the afternoon at Student Council then studied, but tonight is a special night. You see three strange people confront some guy during the dark hour.

Tuesday June 23rd you’ll hear about the revenge website. Chihiro makes a visit during lunch but I took a stop at the Bookworm store after school. During the night you’ll see Shinjiro and Akihiko getting some food together talking about the past. Rested early to cure the Tired condition.

Junpei comes by on Wednesday June 24th. More time at the Bookworm store to raise the Hierophant Arcana to the Social Link Level 6. Studying at night, and then you’ll regain control Thursday June 25th after class. After the usual 1000 yen shrine trip I took Chihiro home and it seems she wants to “get serious”. The Justice Arcana upgraded to level 5.

Not much else is new on Friday June 26th. Spent some time eating hamburgers with my good buddy Kenji. He;s dating a teacher evidently. The Magician Arcana Social Link rose to 5. Got some calls for Sunday and then studied until Saturday June 27th. Chihiro showed me some manga she wants after school at the bookworm place and then the Justice Arcana rose to level 6. More of the same on Sunday June 28th with Chihiro. She obviously wants you to buy those books for her. Back at the dorm, no one is there, so go to bed or study.

Yukari seems to suspect Mitsuru is hiding something. You also have a question in class to answer on Monday June 29th. Answer Mr. Takenozuka’s question with Leonardo Da Vinci to increase your Charm a bit. I spent the rest of monday at the bookworm shop and then at night you’ll see Yukari and Fuuka talking. Tuesday during lunch Chihiro comes up to talk about the bookstore. I went to the Photography club instead but Fuuka got sick there. Fortune Arcana rose to Social Rank 2. In the evening Keisuke called so I decided to hang with him (next Sunday of course).

Pharos visits you as it’s a week away from the full moon. You knew that though. Shortly after it’ll be July 1st, Wednesday. More excitement at Student Council and then you’re back at the dorms. I studied again. You’ll notice I haven’t been to Tartarus in a while, mostly due to flying through it when I did so I assumed I was overleveled a bit. With the full moon coming up it’s always good to train for a while on the last day though.

Thursday July 2nd was spent with Chihiro as she is accused of stealing money. Stick up for her and the Treasure Justice Arcana Social Link will raise to 7.

On Friday July 3rd you’ll get to answer a question for Junpei (choose 2000 Yen). Your Charm will increase some more. Hidetoshi came by at lunch to talk about the smoking so I went there after school. Emperor rank went to 7.

Things are different now that SEES knows about the full moon. Yukari senses the anticipation on Saturday July 4th. Sunday July 5th is another slow day but you probably have plans during the afternoon.

Monday July 6th is the night before the full moon. I went to the bookstore and the old folk seem to think that I started the Persimmon Tree petition. Hierophant raised to 7. Remember to go to Tartarus to train (since you don’t get tired today) and do any of the requests that are due today (scroll up to find them).

7-7, Tuesday, is the full moon. The door is basically skipped as you prepare for the full moon. Fuuka senses something in Iwatodai. You need to decide on a team before you go but Yukari volunteers as she was left behind last time. Mitsuru and Junpei are the choices as they are the highest in level.

Run to the third level when you get to Iwatodai. You’ll find the Hierophant’s Chamber. It has no weaknesses but it repels electricity and nullifies light and darkness. Mitsuru’s Bufula is her value, while Junpei generally does good damage and can knock the enemy down with Assault Drive. Garu and the Toy Bow should be what Yukari uses. As for the main character, find a high level elemental spell that he does not absorb and use that, or use your best physical skills. If you get a critical on him and attack with the entire party Hierophant will be in bad shape. As for Hierophants attacks, most of them are lightning based or ones that lower ability’s for your characters. 3026 EXP is the reward. Fuuka also learns a new ability, about when the enemy’s performance has been altered.

You can’t leave as the door won’t move. Look at the nearby mirror. You get lots of choices now (don’t give in basically). Turns out you were under control of someone, as was Yukari. Both of you leave and meet up with the others upstairs.

Enter room 205 and break the mirror. Go upstairs and to the room directly above the last one (304). Enter the door where the Hierophant was. Lovers is waiting for you here. As you can imagine, Charm is one if the things is does. Have Dis-Charm and Charmdi. It’s Heartbreaker attack can do about 70 to each. You’ll probably want to use Cadenza after this as it’ll allow you to dodge a lot of Lovers’ attacks. This really isn’t a dangerous fight but have Charmdi ready and Cadenza too. 3277 EXP for this one. Your Fool Arcana Social Link reaches 4 at this point too, not to mention the group learns the Full Assault tactic. The crazy Pale Young Man is watching all of this.

Wednesday July 8th is the day after the full moon. Summer break is coming up. During class choose the middle answer for the right one and a Charm increase. After school most people are gone but the bookworm is open, as the Hierophant Arcana Social Link upgraded to 8. Rest at night since you’re surely tired from the shadows the previous night.

Thursday July 9th you’ll get asked about what happened in 794. Choose the answer with Heian-Kyo being the capital for some Charm points. At night you’ll have to go upstairs to find Fuuka but since you got a call from Elizabeth you can continue on through Tartarus now. Again, check some of the requests because there are new ones now that Tartarus has opened up. For example, Creation Relics drop Relic Fragments. You need 5 of these and your reward is some Medical Powder (pretty weak). Also the Supreme Hands are on these new floors. They are tough to defeat and you have to get lucky, hoping they don’t run. The Steel Pipe reward is pretty nice. If you accept the Wild Drive quest you’ll see flashing pink enemies in the new area. They are easy to beat once you use Zio on them. They also drop Greasy Gears and three of them nets you Elizabeth’s request quota and you get 70000 yen. Enter the PA Room to get the Gekkoukan Boogie, the funky music. You get a Pleiades for this. The worst quest by far is for the Shadow Shard. I went through floors 65 through 72 about 10 times before I found the Shadow Shard on floor 68. Good luck, it spawns as a regular treasure chest randomly. Your reward is the Scrub Brush. At this time you should be able to create Vetala with Maragi (Ares and Sati did it for me). Just try lots of combinations and switch the order you select them, you’ll eventually find one (or, fuse your personas and try those combinations). You will be able to create King Frost with the reward – Sugar Key. For the Platinum Watch, you can just buy this at the accessory shop at the mall and return it to Elizabeth for Aigis Armor V.3.

It won’t be until floor 72 on Yabbashah that you reach the first terminal in this area. There are three bosses ahead. They look like the Steel Gigas. They are the Furious Gigas though and they are not weak against Electricity. Use Garu instead as they are weak against Wind. This is dangerous though because after your group attack, the Gigas’ will get to go. Their attacks are powerful and their fatal attack is just that – it can kill the hero in one hit. The key is to get it so that they don’t attack you. Find someone with Sexy Dance (Narcissus) to charm all three at once (one at a time probably will still result in you getting killed). Once you get this, just start using wind on everyone and then group attacks – when the enemy wakes up they’ll attack themselves. You win three Golden Beards and 235 EXP.

I was definitely tired after this one though.

Mr. Edogawa talks with you Friday morning July 10th. Choose Kabbalah in class for a Charm increase. Since Finals are coming up most of the time after school if I don’t do a social link it’ll be staying at the Wakatsu for an Academic increase. Mr Ono asks you a question about Samurais on Saturday July 11th. Choose the hairdos for a Charm increase. Akihiko sends you a text about a meeting tonight after class.

During the meeting, Yukari confronts Mitsuru. You’ll get a lot of background on Mitsuru’s family and Tartarus. Needless to say, you won’t actually be going there tonight. So just study.

Sunday July 12th during the day, Akihiko visits Shinjiro again. You also see a distressed Junpei and Yukari. When you gain control, you probably don’t have anything to do today. You can work on your Hermit with Maya, study, or do something outside. Check the tv as they’re selling some Max Safety Shoes with some extra things.

The dark hour is forced at night. Pharos visits you. He points out that your parents died the same year the explosion happened. The Death Arcana reaches Social Link 3. Stay up during class of Monday July 13th for an Academics increase. During the evening you’ll learn about a trip the party is taking soon.

Unfortunately, Finals begin on Tuesday July 14th. You’ll get asked a question about Kabbalah – choose Jewish. Another question on Wednesday July 15th – choose Murasaki Shikibu as the 2000 yen portrait. On July 16th, Thursday, choose that the knot made them thing it was shooting bullets. One more question on Friday July 17th, and choose Leonardo Da Vinci regarding the contact lenses. Saturday is the last day and there are no questions.

You meet a new character, an elementary school boy. His name is Ken and he’ll be staying at the dorms. Afterwards a trip to Tartarus was in order to continue on past floor 72. There is yet another boss at floor 85 but obviously that’ll take a while to get to.

Sunday July 19th you can check the TV. They are selling a Mage’s Mark. Again you likely don’t have plans so do what you wish on Sunday.

On Monday July 20th you’ll begin getting ready for Yakushima Beach. When you get there, enjoy the scenes and talk to everyone. Akihiko will save it and allow you to go back. You’ll see Mitsuru and her dad Takeharu Kirijo speaking. Eventually your party gets to speak with Takeharu. You see some footage of the last researcher to leave something before the accident – it is Yukari’s dad, Eiichiro Takeba. Yukari flips out and leaves. You can follow her and then hug her eventually, if you want.

After this exchange it’ll be Tuesday July 21st. When you gain control on the beach with the dudes, go to the girls to the east. You’ll strike out and then see a blonde by herself. She’s weird and runs away from you, although the hero seems to be who she is looking for. You don’t learn who she is until Shuji Ikutsuki introduces her as Aigis. She’s a Mechanical Maiden who uses the Persona Palladion.

Wednesday July 22nd is the third day of the trip. The group has some more fun and the Fool Arcana reaches level 5. However the crazy group approaches Shinjiro and learns some information that makes them surprised. Soon you’ll be back at home on Thursday and you can rest.

Aigis wakes you up on Friday July 24th. Check out the exam results (if your Academics was 5 and you answered the questions right, you will get the highest score. Your charm will increase). I decided to go to Tartarus at night to see Aigis in battle. She explains her Orgia Mode.

However since I left off on level 85, she wasn’t involved in the boss fight (since she’s weak versus Electricity / Zio). Definitely bring Akihiko for his Zio protection and his attack. Junpei is also useful because he can sometimes knock the enemy down and do a group attack – also he is at least not weak against electricity, unlike Yukari and Aigis. Mitsuru should come around for this reason too but she can’t contribute much. You should be able to use Media and Cadenza to keep up. The problem is when the Fanatic Tower uses Poison Mist, because it’s trouble if it hits all four. You’ll find that you’ll be the one healing while Akihiko and Junpei do most of the damage to get by. 628 EXP and 3 Magic Mirror are your reward.

Now you can continue onwards to floor 90 to get the Old Document 04. Returning the Old Document 04 nets you some Balm of Life. Your path is blocked so train until you get tired or just go back to the dorm.

Summer vacation is coming up. Saturday July 25th you’ll get a visit from the coach about a tournament on August 2nd. Hayase will be your opponent and he tells you to visit school July 27th to August 1st. Do something after school and then at night you’ll see Shinjiro and those creepy guys talking.

Sunday July 26th you can buy a Brand Purse on tv. Most of the free time I’ve had has been spent eating Prodigy Platter and studying as the Academics are getting close to being maxed.

Monday July 27th you’ll begin some kendo training. This goes on for several days. During the night of July 29th though, Fuuka wakes you up. Turns out there is a shadow in town, but when you go it is a dog that Fuuka realizes name Koro. The party takes it in.

More training on Thursday July 30th but you also get a quick visit from Pharos. The day of the tournament is August 2nd, Sunday. You’ll lose but Mamoru Hayase comes up and wants to be your friend.

Starting August 3rd you can begin to do what you want during the day, as it’s summer vacation. That said most of the school based social links are locked. The night of the 3rd my Academics rank maxed at Genius (level 6). From this point forward, Courage (through Karaoke or courage movies) was the next goal. Keep in mind as you better your base stats you’ll open up various arcana that was previously inaccessible.

On August 5th, remember to spend some time training as you won’t get tired. Also, fulfill the requests that are due (scroll up for info on how to complete all of them). Level 89 is your goal as the Old Document 04 is here and so is the blockage.

During the Dark Hour of August 6th, the Full Moon, the pale character introduces himself as Takaya. Takaya and his friend Jin are a part of Strega. They lock you in this area but there is a large shadow here.

You’ll need to continue down the hill, fighting enemies when need be. When you reach it, Fuuka has a hard time telling if it’s Chariot or Justice. After you do a little bit of damage, they’ll separate. The key is to bring them down at the same time, defeating both at once.

Their attacks do decent damage but beware of their status ailments. You can always use a Me Patra Gem if you’d like. For poison you’ll have no such luck so you’ll have to hope you avoid it. Kill Rush is dangerous but if you use Cadenza early your evade can help you with their more deadly attacks. If you take it all the way down to zero while it’s one entity it’ll split, and then you’ll have to kill them both at once. 5001 EXP is your reward. Fuuka learns a Third Eye ability and the party learns a new tactic, the Same Target tactic.

Friday August 7th is a quiet, new day. Check out the police station for some crazy new weapons and armor (that will probably make you broke). Mitsuru and Akihiko aren’t at the dorm again so you can’t go to Tartarus. Pharos visits you, and warns that you to be careful ahead. The Death Arcana Mysterious Boy Social Link reaches 5.

Elizabeth calls you Saturday Morning August 8th. You can continue through Tartarus past the blockage, it seems. In the evening you’ll see Koromaru has joined your team as an active member. As you collect more and more characters, take note of their strengths / weaknesses because you’ll need to adjust your party all the time fighting bosses. At the same time you’ll want to rotate the group as you trudge through Tartarus so that they are near the same levels.

New requests from Elizabeth. In these new floors the flashing pink enemy will drop Knight’s Reins. You need 4 of these, and in return you will acquire Six-shot. This is a nice weapon for Aigis (+40 SP!) You are also to collect 5 Tiara’s Hairs from floors 105-118. This will net you three Homunculus. For some reason, Elizabeth also has a request for Homunculus (even though she just gave you some!) Anyway accept the request and give it to her for Mikazuki Munechika. This is a fabulous katana for this point in the game. The Old Document 05 is on floor 114 and you get 120000 yen for this one. If you have a maxed charm you can get the drink Elizabeth is looking for. Go west of the movie theater to the underground bar. Try to go below and if your charm is maxed the guy will give you the Queen Elizabeth. Your reward is the Aroundight.

The next boss and terminal is on floor 98. You’ll be fighting three Magic Magus. They love using ice based attacks so have Persona protection. The problem is, you need to use Agi (because they are weak versus fire) so it may be hard to find this agi-using persona that isn’t weak against ice. Fortunately Lamia is strong vs ice and can cast Agi, so use her to knock the enemies down and then charge to do most of the damage. The other two characters you bring along that aren’t strong against ice like Mitsuru will need healing – use Cadenza because then you’ll dodge a lot of attacks afterwards. The biggest trick of all is getting Mitsuru to successfully pull off Tentarafoo because then the Magus’ won’t be able to do anything (they’ll try to cast the Bufu spells, but won’t be able to concentrate). Your victory spoils include 552 EXP, a Sapphire, and the right to move on past floor 98.

Sunday August 9th would be a good day to turn on the Tanaka show. They are selling an Omega Spear and Vegetable Supplement for about 20000. There is no “evening” tonight.

Summer school begins on Monday August 10th. This goes until Saturday and your Academics will increase each day (though mine were maxed coming in). On Sunday there is the summer festival. You are likely to get asked to go but if you decline you can get the Safety Disaster Prevention Vest on tv. If you go, pick out of the bottom of the box to get a Jack Frost Doll.

You can do what you like starting on Monday afternoon. That said there is only a week or so left until summer break ends. I spent it working on Hermit and then Hanged Man, and the movies once in a while. You’ll also get calls (from Kenji types) to go to various movies. Your Courage / Charm / Academics will go up depending on the movie.

Since there was no evening for a while your characters should be ready for a good Tartarus trip. There is a tough boss on floor 110, where the next terminal is. The Natural Dancer is waiting for you here. This is a very tough boss battle. Natural Dancer spams Sexy Dance and Magarula for massive wind damage. You need Yukari in this battle (and you don’t want Junpei for this reason). However, no spells really do damage except for Ice. I highly advise you purchase Varna Bracers for Mitsuru-senpai to make your Bufula take off more damage. When you are charmed, have Charmdi ready of course. Sexy Dance could be the end for you depending on how lucky you get – I’m not sure if Cadenza affects the evade for this move but it’s worth a try, it seemed to work for me. For winning you acquire 1473 EXP and a Cup of Queen.

Keep going to floor 114. This is where the Old Document 05 is and the next barricade. Since you can’t continue any further, might as well fulfill the requests for these levels and build up until you’re tired.

On thursday August 20th, Junpei will have a strange confrontation. Sunday August 23rd there are some Dragon Boots for sale on television. On Monday August 24th, Akihiko makes another attempt to recruit Shinjiro. You’ll probably get more phone calls for things to do during the day. Not much else interesting happens although Mitsuru pays you a visit on August 28th, Friday. Since it’s 8 days away from a full moon, the chairman is here.

There is big news, as young Ken has been proven to have the potential. A day later on August 29th and it’ll be exactly 1 week away – which means Pharos is coming to visit.

Sunday August 30th you’ll have the option of purchasing a Varna Bangle on television. On Monday, Junpei talks to the redhead again. Her name is Chidori.

The season changes on September 1st. It’s the beginning of the next semester. That was a short summer. The first day of class you get a question right off the bat – choose you slide like crazy for some Charm points. Of course that rod Kenji comes up during lunch of the first day.

After school I went to Mitsuru as I didn’t get my reward for getting top score for the Finals. The reward is the Knight Card Set. On this day I decided to go in the Home Economics and start the Temperance Social Link with Bebe. All you need to do is join the fashion club for rank 1. In the evening you find out that Aigis is going to school now. It was on this night that my Charm maxed out.

On September 3 Aigis goes to school and does something funny. Akihiko sends you a text to meet him after school. Evidently you and him are going to get someone. Shinjiro finally joins after he hears that Ken of all people joined. The next day Kenji and I talk about our 30 year old goals (Magician arcana rank 6).

On the day before the full moon, Junpei and Chidori meet up again. Of course being the day before the full moon, you’ll want to finish the dated requests and build up your characters since you have so many now.

Saturday September 5th is the full moon. You’ll just go straight to the dorm after school. Junpei is deceived by Chidori. The party is at the Paulownia Mall, and decides to head to the underground part of Club Escapade. Don’t bring Yukari since she’s weak against electricity.

Immediately you’ll find Hermit. It’ll use high level Zio (electricity) spells and when it charges up for several turns, it’ll unleash Giga Spark. Make sure you are healed full and have a Nul or Str electricity persona. Despite the fact that this move is powerful, it also means he spends three times building up for it and you have a few characters who can make the damage meaningless. So just heal the characters that did get hurt so that they don’t get hit from a Zio attack right after. The boss does have a lot of HP though so the 7471 EXP will be earned.

After the battle the party bursts out and Chidori is stopped. You learn the attack fallen tactic.

Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3

Choose your options and start a new game. The difficulty level must be confirmed at either normal or easy.

Watch some opening scenes and then you’ll get to enter your name, last name first. You’ll meet Yukari Takeba and Mitsuru Kirijo at night (April 7th).

In the morning, go with Yukari to school. Once you gain control finally, go to the bulletin board just east of you and keep searching until you see your name in Class F. Turn around and go through the door here and then take a men’s room break. Your condition will improve to Great. Across from this is the faculty office where Ms. Toriumi greets you. Some scenes in auditorium and then it’s After School.

Junpei Iori greets you after school. It’ll be night hour before you know it, and you can save on the sheet just north of where you start.

At night you’ll overhear a conversation between Mitsuru and a guy. Shortly after it’ll be Early Morning April 8th. You overhear another conversation and then it’s afternoon and you’re in class. Help your bud Junpei out (the answer is Fuyuhiko Yoshimura). Your popularity goes up and your Charm does too.

Soon it’ll be Evening on the 8th. Shuji Ikutsuki is here. He’s the chairman and he introduces himself. Ask some questions and choose the last one to end the session. After you go to bed, a scene with Shuji and the lady’s talking about you ensues.

You’ll get some information on the Dark Hour here, aka midnight. Eventually you meet Igor and Elizabeth. You’ll get a Velvet Key from Igor at the end.

It’s early morning April 9th 2009 after your first experience with Dark Hour. Talk to Junpei on the way to school, and choose to stay awake to raise your academic (as opposed to your condition).

Soon enough it’s late night and the Dark Hour. Akihiko calls in and it sounds like an enemy is coming to your dorm. Sure enough Yukari runs to your room, gives you a Short Sword and it’s time to go. Just go up stairs when you get control and you’ll get to see Orpheus, your new Persona. A battle begins against two Cowardly Maya’s. Use Bash if you want or just attack. After the battle, you and Orpheus gain some levels and stats and Orpheus will learn Agi.

Your character drops and you’re talking to Igor. You learn a lot about your Persona you just gained, and of strengthening them with your Social Links – your emotional ties with others.

You’ll wake up After School on April 17th. Yukari is here with you at Tatsumi Memorial Hospital. She talks to you quite a bit about her past and Shadows.

You are up and about Saturday Early Morning and Junpei gets asked another question. Choose the top one for the correct answer and a Charm increase. It’ll be the evening soon, so save when it is and then go to the fourth floor. You’ll be informed by the group about their name (SEES – Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad) and then they ask you to join them, now that you know what’s going on. They offer you an Evoker and you’ll get the blessing of the Fool Card for your Social Link with SEES.

During the Dark Hour, you’ll be greeted by a mysterious boy. You wake up and it’s Sunday Evening the 19th. Turns out Junpei is moving here and your group will be large enough to begin exploration of Tartarus.

It’s 4 / 20 in the morning, and soon it’s lunchtime. Mitsuru comes by to tell you to visit the lounge. School passes fast after this and before you know it you’re at a meeting in the evening. It’s about time to explore Tartarus says Shuji. Your party will arrive at school, or Tartarus, and you’ll use the Velvet Key to speak with Igor. You’ll be back near the entrance soon where you can save and now look at your status screen. Check out Junpei and Yukari to see Hermes and Lo.

Say that you’re ready and it’ll be time to go into Tartarus. The floors are generated randomly so the specific directions may not apply. Head straight for a Medicine and go left a little and through the hallway to get in your first battle. Like Mitsuru says, try to attack the enemy before it gets the jump on you. You’ll learn the basics in battle here – use Agi because the enemy is weak against fire, and you’ll get a free turn (which results in your entire party lambasting the enemy).

Up ahead and you’ll see the staircase. You’re not to go up it yet so continue the other way for another Medicine and enemy. Further ahead for another harder to find enemy with a Snuff Soul by him. You’ll fight more and more enemies, so just use Agi to get the All Out attack. After the battle with 4 Cowardly Mayas I was fortunate enough to get the Apsaras Persona. At this point you should be able to split your party up and find the exit. There is also a Medicine laying around. Take the teleport and after talking with your group, your Fool Card / SEES Social Link will reach 2. It’d be a good time to save and go to the Velvet Room to see Igor for a bit. He is ready to tell you about his main role, that is the Fusion of your Personae. By fusing two Personae together they can become a more powerful persona and some of the ability’s will transfer over (while some will be lost depending on the Personae involved). You are taught that in general, ability’s similar to a person’s other ability’s (like a mage learns magic but not physical attacks while a physical attack based character won’t pick up magic ability’s, and so on) will be the ones that come through to the new fused Persona.

Return to the dorm for the night, and in the AM you meet a Friendly Student named Kenji Tomochika. You’ll talk some and then go through an assembly. Stay up during class to raise your academics. Now you’ll have the day all to yourself. Kind of. Talk to those around the school and do whatever, but when you leave you’ll see Akihiko Senpai who asks you to go to Paulownia Mall with him. He’s more interested in you and Junpei than the lady’s that like him. Leave the school grounds and choose to go to the mall.

At the Paulownia Mall go to the Police Station. Officer Kurosawa is here, he outfits your group, and you get 5000 Yen from the boss. Buy a few things for your character a leave (Junpei departs). Check out the other stores and leave the mall.

Take a trip to the Port Island Station, Iwatodai Station and the Naganaki Shrine, all of which you haven’t seen yet. Lots of things here require you to stay until night so be sure you want to do that when you accept (like getting Ramen (Charm) and watching a movie (Charm, Courage)). Other things like donating at the Shrine don’t last until night and you still get a stat raise (Academic). Once you check everything out, settle with something to improve Charm, Courage or Academics – don’t just return to the dorm.

Back at the dorm Mitsuru will talk to you about your night options. It’d be a good time to save and then check out Tartarus some more. You’ll learn about the barricades in Tartarus on fixed levels, and how you’re getting close to one. Explore a few levels but be careful – the enemy can still kill you if it hits a weakness. Especially when you get tired and your stats get lower. Anyway, just explore the next two floors and the third one should have a teleporter right by it that you should use (because Mitsuru warns about a boss fight ahead).

After all of that you’ll be enjoying the morning of 4 / 22 when Kenji meets up with you again. After school he asks you to get some Ramen so go along with him to Iwatodai strip mall. Your Magician social link with Kenji has been established.

At night, you’ll probably want to go to sleep earlier (especially if you went to Tartaros before that). After school on the 23rd you’re prompted to look into joining an athletics team. Head to the first floor and go the opposite way of the exit to reach the sports area. You can join the track team, swimming team or Kendo team. I choose the Kendo team, and Yuko Nishiwaki and Kazushi greet you. For joining the team you get the blessings of the Chariot Arcana and it’ll soon be the evening of the 23rd. Could be another good opportunity to explore Tartarus although I had a sick character still so I studied.

Kenji comes up the afternoon of the 24th but so does Kazushi the Kendo guy. Might as well go with Kenji since you just did the sports thing and learn his “plan” on who he’s going to ask out (strengthening the social link). After doing that, it’s probably another good time to venture into Tartarus.

I ended on level 4 the last time (despite wanting to end on level 3 there was no teleporter). You’re probably going to want to travel up another three levels before your friends get tired. You should also remember to be checking out the policeman’s wares to keep your friends weapons / armor upgraded (though you’ll find a fair amount throughout Tartarus too).

On the 25th you’ll hear about the book store. So go to Iwatodai and then the Bookworm book store. Talk to the old folks about the Persimmon Tree near your school. Now return to school and make as though you’re going to the sports / gym area. In the corridor / courtyard before it, take a left to see a Persimmon tree and you’ll grab a Persimmon Leaf on the ground. Return it to the old man and he’ll be delighted, and will introduce himself as Bunkichi and his wife Mitsuko. This is the beginning of the Hierophant Arcana and Social Link.

It’ll be night time now (and you’ll probably be tired if you were just at Tartarus like I was last night). I got a call from Kenji about doing something on Sunday. Sunday the 26th there is no school but if you agreed to meet Kenji you’ll go do that. Otherwise you have a free day. If you rested enough it could be another good Tartarus night. If you’ve gone up about 6 or 7 floors you should be getting near the top of that line and you may come across rare monsters like the Wealth Hand. Wealth Hand blocks all of your magic attacks and will run away quickly.

Monday April 27th begins with an assembly at school. Later you get asked what 1 plus 1 is, so answer it for an increase in Charm. Once class is finished, you’ll see Mitsuru again. She wants you to join the Student Council, so go along with her plea and you’ll have to visit the Faculty Office to formally join with Ms Toriumi. As you go in the Student Council, you’ll meet Hidetoshi Odagiri and Chihiro. Forging this Social Link gives you the blessings of Emperor Arcana. It’ll be evening after this. Save and go to bed (unless your party is rested of course).

Mitsuru tells you that if you can’t find her in the lounge, you’ll be going to Tartarus the following day. At lunch on 4 / 28 youll probably be approached by a Kenji type but I chose to go to the Gym after school to work on the Chariot arcana. Yuko will be in the lobby as you leave school. Back at the place in the evening you’ll get an online game from Junpei.

Wednesday 4 / 29 is Showa Day, no school because it’s a holiday. It’s a good day to sit inside and play that MMORPG that you got from Junpei to establish a Hermit Arcana Social Link.

Back in school in 4 / 30 it might be a good day to sleep in class if you’re tired. If you want your academics up stay awake. Hang out with Kenji to have a Magician Arcana Social Link increase. At night you’ll be summoned to the Velvet Room at the mall. Elizabeth sees potential in you and has various tasks for you if you wish to undertake them. Most of them revolve around finding an item or buying something and bring it back to her within a set time for a reward.

Everyone was finally healthy so I checked out Tartarus some more. After this it’ll be May 1st and Yukari will meet you before school. During school agree to go with to see Akihiko, and you’ll meet another man as you go there.

On 5/2 you’ll overhear a conversation about something to do on Sunday afternoon. I went to the bookstore to get Melon Bread from Bunkichi after school, advancing Hierophant again. Finally my party was rested so afterwards more progress in Tartarus was made. Not much is different but the little blue eyed boy visited me at night after this.

On Sunday 5 / 3 you’ll remember about the TV program with Tanaka. Watch it and you might as well buy the Slash Ward since you probably have the money. Sit down and play some video games to increase the Hermit Arcana Social Link with Maya. It’ll be Monday 5 / 4 soon.

Go out and run some errands, watch a movie or something during the day of 5 / 4. At night the lounge will be empty (if you remember Mitsuru said they’d go to Tartarus the night after if she was gone at night) so just go back to your room. Kazushi (kendo) called me to do something on 5 / 5 so I accepted. Kenji called afterwards but he’s lame anyway. This is probably a good study night.

5 / 5 is the last day of the Golden Week. Hang out with whoever you accepted during the day and then at night Mitsuru-senpai still isn’t home. If you ordered that stuff on Sunday your Slash Ward and Sappy Jelly will be here. You can probably study again since your condition is good still likely.

Back to school on 5 / 6. You’re prompted to answer a question so say Basic for some Charm points. Various things you can do now including going to Naganaki Shrine (Hanged Man) or Student Council (Emperor). It’s a good night to go to Tartarus since you couldn’t before. You’ve probably reached and passed the Terminal and Venus Eagles around this time.

More Chariot Arcana work after school with an injured Kaz. Soon you’ll be able to go out with the team manager Yuko and gain the respect of the Strength Arcana. Kenji called at night to do something much later.

Lots of things come up on Friday 5 / 8 but I chose to go to Student Council to raise Emperor Arcana to three. Later in the evening I was able to get to floor 10 to fight the Dancing Hands. Magic doesn’t exactly work too well and you’ll find your character using heal and attack, while Cleave does most of the damage. These things can cause you to panic with one of their ability’s so heal that (so you can use SP again). Three Mazio Gems are the reward.

Continue working your way up to level 14 where there is another terminal point and another boss. This time it’s the Chariot Arcana Rampage Drive. This thing is a physical beast and you’ll want to use your best spells to overcome it. It has an attack all move that tends to stun Yukari often. Garu (wind) magic seems to work the best. For defeating Rampage Drive you acquire the Balm of Life. Continue all the way until you reach a dead end with a teleporter and Old Document 01. The full moon is 5 / 9 on Saturday. You’ll rest up for it and it’ll be night. Turns out there is a tough enemy away from Tartarus.

Run up to the monorail when you gain control on the tracks. Head north through the first few sections and you’ll be ambushed. The enemy runs and Junpei wants to go after it but wait. Junpei gets mad and runs off but two other enemies ambush you now.

You’re going to have to run a few cars ahead to catch up to Junpei and then a few more until you get to the boss. Priestess will summon weaker enemies to fight you but try to match their weakness to get rid of them fast and get back started on Priestess. Your best spells and ability’s work, Cleave seems to do the best damage and can knock her down for a bit. The time limit shouldn’t be an issue so don’t let it bother you. You’ll gain around 300 EXP for defeating her (she has 300 hp about).

After the battle it’s of course you who has to hit the brakes to stop the train. For saving your party and completing this task your Fool Arcana Social Link upgrades to 3. You also learn the Conserve SP tactic for your AI.

On Sunday May 10th you’ll get a call from Elizabeth. The path in Tartarus has opened to go further up. I had plans with Kenji to further the Magician Arcana and then rested until the following day. Class starts again Monday May 11th and you’ll be reminded of midterms the next week. Keep up on your academics by studying at night, donating 1000 at the shrine and eating at Wakatsu Restaurant (highest + academic). Most things on the 11th are closed after school so I went to the Bookworm (Hierophant Arcana) to talk to the old people and meet Andre Laurent Jean Geraux or Bebe. You’ll learn some more about the Bunkichi’s kid and your rank will grow to 3. At night Yukari goes out to get some notes from a friend and is unavailable for Tartarus.

Wednesday May 13th will begin with you in class being asked a question. Choose the Theory of Relativity for some points. Do something in the afternoon and then go to Tartarus tonight since most of the party suggests it.

Take the terminal to floor 14 and go up to floor 16. Search the obstruction and it’ll disappear. This area is too far away for Mitsuru to help much and it looks different as well. Lots of things you should watch for because the enemies around here are much harder. The glowing-pink units are Steel Gigas’ and they are extremely dangerous especially if you don’t have an electricity-based character. The other enemies here are tough to match up with so check their weaknesses before you attack with magic. The Phantom Mages are particularly annoying with their instant death attack and the fact that you may not have a light element to attack them with. The closest Terminal is a long way away at floor 25 where there is also a boss.

Early morning Friday May 15th youll be greeted by Mitsuru who asks how you’re doing in school. Midterms are coming soon so you should be at the shrine offering 1000 yen, eating prodigy platter and studying at night. You get asked a question in the afternoon so choose ‘let me go’ to get some charm points. Probably should be spending your time studying (Yukari is absent today for some reason at night).

Akihiko is there early morning Saturday May 16th. Stay up in class to get your academics raised again. Probably should study sunday although there is a weapon on TV you can buy (or raise Hermit).

Monday May 18th is when the midterms start. The Midterm Answers are below. On Tuesday you’ll get asked a question about Fuyuhiko Yoshimura – the answer is Mangekyou. The physics question is Chaos Theory. You’ve had the soap question – soap is basic. Finally, another one you’ve had, choose How Tools Are Made. Saturday May 23rd is the last midterm date. Akihiko approaches you and asks for you to continue to be the leader even when he returns (which will be soon).

Finally with some free time in the afternoon on saturday I went to the book shop to get some Cylon Tea and hear about the Persimmon Tree possibly being cut down. Your Hierophant Arcana goes up to level 4.

At night you’ll hear about Akihiko joining back. Also a new persona user has joined, a junior from school. Her name is Fuuka Yamagishi. Well, she hasn’t join yet, but Akihiko is back and you can use him. With a fourth member it’d be a good time to continue past the level 25 terminal where there are three Crying Tables. Be careful with this battle, their multi-person fire attacks (Maragi ) will mow down whoever is weak against it. You need Ice magic against it so Apsalas is good (even though she’s weak and lower leveled generally) for her ice and Candenza heal ability. Just stay healed and keep up with Bufu and you’ll win 88 EXP and 3 Vibrant Cloth.

After this battle the next terminal point will be floor 36. This is a long ways even though you have four members so be efficient and analyze every new enemy you see. Again, the flashing pink enemies will be the toughest for you.

Floor 36 has the Empress based Change Relic. A couple things to prepare for this difficult boss. You’ll want a wind resistant persona equipped (like Omoikane). Change Relic is going to destroy you with Garula (100 on a character) and Magarula (100 damage to weak vs. Wind (Junpei / Akihiko)). Poison Mist sucks because you probably won’t have time to heal poison but you’ll need to make time for Posumudi. Tarukaja is necessary so that you can do more damage with Cleave and Sonic Punch. Dia isn’t really all that effective so have Cadenza ready to use. Of course you’ll want to switch right back to Omoikane for that elemental defense.

You’re probably going to have to concede that Junpei and Akihiko will die. Yukari should be set to healing / support otherwise she’ll just attack most of the time – this is important for prolonging the life of the other two guys. You get 236 exp (2 characters survived) and Coin of Queen x1. Since he knocked a few of my characters out I just left and went to bed.

Monday 5 / 25 is when you finally get your scores back. Chances are you got a high grade and your charm increased but it depends on how much studying you did of course. After class I began the Hanged Man arcana with Maiko. You need to bring her Weird Takoyaki or whatever from the place in Iwatodai by the Bookworm shop. Buy her a Mad Bull (2nd floor dorm vending machine).

Tuesday 5 / 26 comes and you’ll get some complaints about grades from Junpei. Spend time doing whatever and come night time Junpei is gone but the other two are around. I studied because of this although 3 members is fine in Tartarus at this point.

Wednesday 5 / 27 was spent with the student council. You’ll leave the room to see Hidetoshi tearing some punk down. Just talk to Hidetoshi for the Emperor Arcana level 4.

On Thursday 5 / 28 you’ll have a long lecture to sit up through for your Academics. I then talked to Kenji for Magician Arcana Level 4. Kaz called at night but it was a night to catch up on sleep. Friday May 29th you’ll see a weird scene with some girls and Yukari. After school was spent with Kazushi but no progress was made with Chariot.

In the morning of 5 / 30 Saturday you’ll hear about a passed out girl. More on this topic throughout the day. After school I looked into Hierophant at the bookworm store. Convince the two that you’ll help keep the Persimmon Tree around and you’ll progress to Hierophant Arcana Social Link 5. You also get a Crab Bread from Bunkichi. Spend Sunday however you want but the Super Healthy Sandal is for sale on tv.

Monday June 1 everyone is dressed differently (it’s getting warmer out). Shadows are also on the minds of everyone after someone was left on the ground recently. I decided to go to the Student Council today (of course after paying 1000 Yen at the shrine) although nothing came of it. More studying and you can’t go to Tartarus since Yukari is scared of ghosts.

At night on June 1 you are visited by the mysterious boy. It’s a full moon in a week and he reminds you. The next day – Tuesday June 2 – Yukari will walk to class with you, and in class you’ll have a lecture on Ugetsu Monogatari. Stay awake to raise your Academic. Around this time you can ask Chihiro out but she’ll get scared at first. Eventually she’ll warm up and you can walk her home. Your relationship with Chihiro will improve so that the Justice Arcana Social Link is established.

More ghost stuff today. People will approach you (Hidetoshi and Yuko for me) during lunch, so I went to the student council. As everyone turns against Hidetoshi, say “they can be cruel” to make him feel good.

June 4th was spent with Kazushi, upgrading Chariot to 4. The full moon is near but I stayed in and got a phone call. More ghost stuff the next day and you’ll get more lunch visits. Tonight will be the last Arqa Tartarus trip I take until the day before the full moon (when you never get tired). Shortly after level 36 is the barricade (level 40). Get the Old Document 02. Take the teleport and go in the Velvet Room to return the Old Document 02 for a Balm of Life reward.

There are only three days to the full moon as Friday June 5th approaches. Yukari wants to go over the ghosts so more and eventually check out Port Island the next day. Sure enough on Saturday you’ll meet some punks and Shinjiro. You’ll get some more information about what’s going on and you can still do something at night.

On Sunday 7th you probably have something planned with someone during the day, and then at night you should go to Tartarus. You won’t get tired since it’s the day before the full moon. If you haven’t reached the level 40 blockage, do so tonight. There are bosses on floor 25 and 36 (look up above if you missed them).

It’s also a good time to go through all the requests especially the timed ones that are due on 6 – 7. The three Old Lanterns can be had from the Phantom Mages on floors 17-24. This shouldn’t be too hard (remember, they only drop them if you signed up for the request) but watch out for their instant death attacks.

The Old Document 02 can be found on floor 40. You’ll also want to go for a Lead Metal from a Wealth Hand. They are found in the Thebel section and should be easy to kill with a persona physical skill. They should drop that Lead Medal if you signed up for the request. Once you complete this one you’ll get to sign up for a Steel Medal. You are to defeat a Treasure Hand in the Arqa area. They tend to come in bunchs and are harder to hit. Use the Toy Bow from your last fight against the Wealth Hand. Hopefully you can land a critical to get the Steel Medal because the Spiked Bat is a great weapon for Junpei. Finally, you need to create Valkryrie with the Tarukaja ability. The combination I found that worked was Archangel (who had Tarukaja), Orpheus and Omoikane. Elizabeth gives you the Torn Black Cloth which unlocks the use of Pale Rider, a Death Arcana Persona. Once you finish this request, the Oberon request will pop up. You can probably do this one too. You need Angel and Pyro Jack to create Oberon, then you need to level him up to 17 (which you can probably do if your Emperor Arcana / Student Council Social Link is high enough) to finish your task. Return to get 3 Coin of Knight.

Monday June 8th is the day of the full moon. It starts off with Mitsuru and your triad at speaking with a girl about Fuuka. You learn a lot here about the situation from Natsuki Moriyama. After school I spent somet time with Kaz at the Kendo practice although he didn’t go. Offer to let him use your shoulder and he’ll be appreciative – Chariot Arcana went to 5 after this.

After the school the party plans to break into the school. Of course Junpei opened a door ahead of time so that you could get in. It’ll be you and Yukari to go to the Faculty Office to find a key. Head down the stairs and you’ll see a flashlight and hear footsteps. Take the path going right (away from the gym) and the Faculty Office is the first one of the left. You’ll find the Gym Key and then the party will get together again. It seems the boys will be going to Tartarus with the lady’s staying back.

You’ll see Natsuki at the dorm by herself, being called somewhere. Your party seems to be separated and far away. The mysterious boy greets you when you get up. You’re all by yourself. Go up a few sets of stairs. The enemies aren’t too hard but it doesn’t seem like you can hit their weaknesses, and the communication is poor up here. Eventually you’ll reach Junpei and Akihiko. Shortly after you’ll see Fuuka Yamagishi.

The party will be in a new area trying to contact Mitsuru. It doesn’t work but Fuuka senses a tougher monster nearby. Turns out there are two of them. Fuuka shoots herself and summons a persona to save Mitsuru. She then becomes your new enemy analysis member with her psychic powers.

Now it’s time to fight these two enemies, Emperor and Empress. Obviously Empress is more magical based and in turn is weak again any kind of physical attack while the Emperor of the opposite. It’s good to have a Persona like Chimera that has elemental attacks like Agi and physical attacks like Sonic Punch and Cleave. This will knock both of them down and then you can have an all out attack. Focus on the Empress first so she doesn’t hit any of your elemental weaknesses – you can afford to absorb Emperor’s attacks. They each only have about 500-600 HP so if you focus on one of them for a few turns, you can kill them.

By themselves they’re nothing much. You’ll collect 1525 EXP and you have a new member. You also learn the Knock Down tactic.

It sounds like Persona 3 is going to be delayed for a week, maybe 2. It’s ready to ship but the art book for P3 isn’t.
