Destiny of an Emperor II Updates

4-14 - Updated with e-mails and another few run throughs of the game. Thanks again to the contributors at the forum and through Electronic Mail.

1-19 - Finished EVERYTHING

1-16 - Maxed up to level 99 and put the total soldiers in the text guide.

1-15 - Tactics/Battle formations have been entered into the text file. If anyone has any information on Jie Zhen or Jie Ce (read the guide) let me know, or if anyone has information/confirmation on how formations work.

All the general statistics should be cleared up in the TEXT GUIDE right now, while the online guide still has some numbers that are off by 5 and some generals still aren't in every section that they should be. Fortunately everything on the text guide is perfect now so I can use that as a reference to perfect the online analysis. These resources have really come full circle, if you will, as I was just doing the exact opposite with the two sources just a week ago.

Currently the only thing on the agenda for actual new information that I haven't got on DoaE2 yet is the level max-out issue. Currently I am at level 75 and am assuming it maxes out at 99, and will let you know when this happens. I neglected to jot down the soldier increases and will probably do this at a later date. Before I forget, while going through the game this last time I was unable to recruit Zhang Lu. It was weird, I did stall for a moment before I talked to Liu Bei (remember, this is after getting the Shu Map and returning to Xin Ye) so maybe that caused the game to alter itself (or rather to not glitch).

1-13 - Now that the text guide for DoaE2 is finished the other things that have been ignored can be tended to.

Currently I'm looking through the General Analysis and walkthrough sections on the site to try to match up the information better between the text guide and the website work. I like the varied formats but I think I learned a few things while doing the text guide that I may have failed to include on the picture guide. We'll see I guess.

Also I'm going to zip up the DoaE2 avatars and put them up in the resource index. You're free to download them and use them however you wish, just link back or something if you feel inclined to do so. They're organized via the part of the walkthrough you fight them in/recruit them in, so you can use the General Analysis sections for corresponding reference.

I think I'll spend the rest of the night playing through again to make sure everything is safe and sound. One thing I noticed is that in my general sections I fail to include some generals when you fight them more than once. I'll try to clear this stuff up along with any other ambiguities, and then I'll look into the tactics. I know what most of the in-battle tactics do, but I rarely used formations so that'll be new to me, especially the ones you learn later on that aren't as basic.
