DW6 Guan Yu

Guan Yu is always the type of character I respect as one of the elite's though I don't prefer his style quite as much as most do.  That said, Guan Yu's moveset in DW6 does a good job of covering his weak spots in previous games.  Compared to most musous his is done pretty well though Guan Yu is his usual, quiet self, only really speaking to talk of his lord Liu Bei.

 

Guan Yu still has that amazing reach with the Blue Dragon and his Renbu attacks are classic Guan Yu.  The best part of this new Guan Yu is how far he moves during his square / triangle attacks.  I always felt he was too stationary and left himself open too often in past games, but in this one the huge steps he takes (literally) allows for easier manuevering from enemies trying to break up your combo.  His musou leaves a little to be desired especially in terms of range with that final shot at the end of it.
