i got a platinum spear dropped from zeromus. this spear gave double XP earned , one hit : petrify, sap, poison, silence, blind, slow, doom, and also +777 attack pwer.
this is a godly weapon i have found, and i think this had 1:100000 chance to get it.
And i fought that zeromus at lvl 70 all of my characters.

Hey I need some tips on getting Zeromus. He keeps kicking my ass and I dont know what to do. All my characters are level 40 and they have all of the stat boosts you can get from the Licesne board and they all have their 3 Quickenings. I just don’t get why he is so hard for me to beat.

the espers ROCK all of them are good however you have to use em proper
.use them in areas where the monsters are weak to their element
.they are leveled via the summoners current level

also for the other way to get the zodiak spear its in the place where you fight zodiark in henne mines the part bout the diamond armlet is bull tho

By the time I fought Chaos I think I was over-leveled – he seemed easier than he should be. The earlier Summons were actually the hardest because I fought them early on, This is why Adrammelech and Cuchulainn gave me good trouble.

They’re fun to fight though. Maybe more so than the Hunts. I just wish these summons were more useful in battle for your side. Maybe they are, I never really used them much though.

yea it is i got it on my new file it was hard to get but definetley made the rest of the game a breeze as far as fighting goes. this page also helped as well with getting espers. I only got chaos,ultima, and zodiark to go. you werent kidding about cuchulainn being a tough esper to beat though. But my money is still on chaos.

Yea I’ve read some ’secret’ ways to get extra Zodiak Spears. They seem dubious at best. Some are probably outright lies, others are a really low chance (1 / 1000, like you say).

It’s too bad, I’ve never had the Zodiak Spear but people make it sound like it’s a good deal better than anything else you’ll find…

yea i started a new file n skipt the treasures that i need to get it. turns out theres some other ways to get it to but its like a 1 in 1000 chance youl get it. then theres another thing about finding a treasure chest in a secret area in 1 of the mines n you have to have a diamond armlet equipped when you open it and you get the zodiac spear.

When I first started through I wasn’t using a Walkthrough so I had no idea there were treasures I was supposed to skip. It would have been cool to get the Zodiac Spear, but oh well…

the 16 chests are not in the nechrohol. that is why you couldn’t find them. they are on the southwest area of the phon coast. you dont want to open them though if you are trying to get the zodiak spear. also, there are 3 other chests that should not be opened during the game, before you reach the phon coast. If any of these are opened the zodiak spear will not be available.
