Zhang Rang waits patiently in his chamber. Soon a younger boy comes in and reports some of the day's events. "Lord Rang! Zhang Jiao has agreed to the plan, and will be waiting for your command."
Zhang dismisses him and goes to the courtyard once again. The thought of Prince Xian and what he spoke to him a few days ago, still chilled him to his soul. He can see the guards watching him as he walks. Fear takes over him wondering if these would be the guards that would kill him if he failed Xian. Quickening his step, he makes his way into the other side of the courtyard and into the royal chambers.
Seeing Xian waiting for him, Zhang kneels on the ground and reports.
" My Prince I have contacted a religious man in the land named Zhang Jiao, he has been spreading the teachings of the Way of Peace. He has agreed to stir his followers to revolt , we will know who they are by the yellow cloths they will be wearing upon their heads. His brothers will also be leading their follows into battle. With your permission when they revolt against your father, I will bestow upon them titles of General of Heaven, General of the Land, and General of Men." Zhang rang says.
Prince Xian says " You have done very well."
" I have also been in contact with one of the local governors. Dong Zhou , he has agreed to come to the royal houses aid when the rebellion happens. When he is here with his army, then they will be able to subdue all those that stand against you my lord. He has a brilliant adviser named Li Run, as well as able warriors like Hua Xiong and the fearless Lu Bu. When they kill your father and brother they will put you upon the throne..." Rang says before being cut off.
" The throne already is mine, no person will put me on it." Xian says with a hint of evil within his voice.
" Yes my prince, I am sorry you will arise yourself to the Emperor's seat, Indeed."

With the orders from the Prince, Zhang Rang the following day sends orders to Zhang Jiao to rebel. thus signaling Dong Zhou to mount his troops and wait for his turn to come to the capital. As thousands rise against the royal house, wearing their yellow turbans. The imperial officers Huangfu Song and Zhu Jun have learned of Zhang Rang's plot , the messenger that went to Zhang Jiao was also a messenger for Huangfu. Unable to sway the Emperor into believing that his own child would rebel against him, The Emperor does not leave the capital, He does allow Zhu Jun, Huangfu Song and Lu Zhi to arrange safe passage for Prince Bian.
With only the personal guards for the prince, they travel from the capital. as they do they hear word that Dong Zhou has come from his lands and entered the gates of Lou Yang.

"What is the meaning of this?" The Emperor says as soldiers come into his chambers.
They do not say a word, until Li Ru, Dong Min come into the room. They salute the generals then fall silent. Soon a rather large sized man comes into view. Sweat comes freely from his brow, his clothes blood stained from the inhabitants of the royal house. he reaches up and wipes some of the blood off his face, now making it look like a fattening hog that feasted upon it's butcher master.
" Dear Emperor, I am Dong Zhou.You have been requested to see the new crowning of the leader of the Empire. Now if you would, kneel before I cut off your knees. " The man says laughing.
Before the Emperor can reply, his son walks into the room, without a drop of blood placed upon him. Xian walks up to his father and embraces him for a moment before whispering into his ear," The Empire's heart long united, must divide."
Xian drives a dagger deep into his father's chest, peircing his heart. Within moments the Emperor is dead on the floor, his face forever locked in the look of someone who was deeply betrayed.
