I should just bundle those in. I will next update.
That said, right now the IPS 1.3 bug list is clean? Can it be? We still have the raise/attack themselves bug but so far we haven’t seen that one on 1.3.

Might be a LITTLE premature at this point… but with this DP thing fixed I can finally begin going through the in-game battles and modifying them. Also, the updated soldier counts table are gone as well, just has a bunch of unknown keys:

January 20, 2014 at 3:23 pm #53161sonic.penguinModeratorSomething I’ve noticed with this new weapon code is that I’m passing around weapons A LOT more which actually makes it…. make sense rather than just going out and buying everyone the latest and greatest whole-army weapons. It’s actually something I do to maximize my party’s effectiveness without spending all my money (because I’ve upped the cost of items)

Also, where’s your latest sprite list? Was going to put that directly in DoaEditor.
And where did I put that auto-remove officer code? Can’t remember which thread it was in.

February 1, 2014 at 2:31 pm #53394sonic.penguinModeratorWhen scrolling through, then selecting something in the “sprite color/eap” drop down menu (try using the arrow keys) it causes palettes to randomly change. Also, whenever you get an update on that sprite moving bug, it would help out as changing sprite location and region manually is a pain in the behind.
ALso I keep getting an error that says “Item name too long. Truncating.”
‘coins’ seems to be adding letters in front of it each time I open DOAEditor. It looks like ‘cccccccoins’ even if I edit it back down to ‘coins’ it changes back. This also presents a problem when opening a treasure chest or being awarded money after a battle. The same thing with food, making it say “FFood”

I added the fix to our central code location. I think Niahak is playing with the map stuff now. This will be in the next DoaEditor version released. As for the other stuff, I don’t want to mess with DoaEditor today while Niahak is tinkering with it.
Regarding the sprite/palette thing, the sprite color changes are correct but the palette colors in the drop down boxes are not changing when they should.

1. Textbank / Y1 bug.
2. Spite palette picker updating right now when switching “sprite color/eap”.

As an added bonus all the map tiles are now loading from the ROM. The loading time is higher now though. Let us know what you think about the load time.
July 20, 2014 at 3:27 pm #53616MiDKnighTModerator#3 is probably the worst bug. Auto-succeed for the enemy doesnt work on duel/life/raise. I sent a savestate a while back that had Tian Feng use life, failed, then began attacking himself :P I’m working atm on Cao Cao moving through Jingzhou and in a fight with Zhang Fei, he kept trying to duel and it kept failing, but this happens universally when enemies try to duel. This may also be what is causing the all-out bug I experience for some reason that crashes the game.
Please test this potential fix. This has duel, life, and raise bypass the auto succeed check.
