ModeratorEditing tactic levels 31-60 on the Profiles page doesn't save. You can change them but they revert back to their original values when exporting.

ModeratorWasn't a save state, it was a .sav file.

I personally feel that it is not a good formula as it seems almost EVERY officer I have gets the max base AC of 100. I personally feel VIT should be only based on STR and AGI and that adding in INT borks it up and makes high INT officers too godly by giving them overcharged stats unless they only have like 20 STR. They already get tactic protection just by having high INT so I dont' think they're deserving of base AC bumps that include INT as well. STR guys have no tactic defense (or at least balanced ones don't) so they need the high muscles (VIT) or in special cases of unique officers, you can always overwrite the formula by making your own value for godly officers like Zhuge Liang, Zhang Liao, Zhao Yun, etc.

I see what you mean though by having a "generic" battle with diverse enemies but not the tough officer music going with it because 1 officer is a tough guy.

Alright then, I can probably arrange that.
I'm currently trying to pinpoint a problem that a user from the-scholars had with the guy who sits on the throne not spawning in Gui Yang after conquering Jing Zhou. I was sent the .sav file and found that the Liu Bei replacement (Ding Yuan) was ironically in billeting which I think is what is causing the spawn issue, yet I thought they were 2 different sprites???
Anyways, the only reason I can think of is that the game was edited w/ a DOAEditor and they clicked the billeting option on Ding Yuan in order to bag him in billeting illegally :S

ModeratorThats why I had the above issue because I added all that in to match what my previous version was granted since all the new tables are expanded, out of order, and in new rom addresses, that is why I had the overwrite issue.
I just need the armor bug fixed so I can equip to everyone armor and test it while I work through it. Thanks for the help on the targeting issue.

ModeratorHmm, didn't I pick that out that starting the tactics at that address was not right? SO the table for tactic targeting actually starts at E8901 correct?
So do you think you can get that armor glitch fixed so I can work on the mod and work with item/shop/weapon adjustments? I can probably bypass editing the 3 brother's profiles for a little bit at least.
The new tactic system is going to take some adjusting as I finally had my own system worked out so it's gonna have to be tweaked immensely for the new 1.3 patch version

New status menus with additional status' page + officer status adjustments
New ability to gain random items after battles (POL based)
Officers now use unique weapons based around their personality
New formulas for calculating damage
New tactics
TP gains EVERY level, even if no tactics are learned (4 per level)
Ling Tong's location will be moved to prevent a sprite overload that was causing recruitment issues
Ling Tong will gain some status upgrades to make him more viable vs. Gan Ning's overpoweredness which will also be slightly adjusted.
Some map editing to prevent entering the bonus section too early which prevented multiple battles from being spawned.
Stat adjustment to "Mr. Happy" to prevent a near game-breaking tactic to become available to players
End-game weapons will be reduced to "less powerful" versions so as to not totally outpace the enemies ability to defend once Zeal is obtained.
*Note* Most characters currently in the mod will be retained.

Heh, just whenever is fine also, I just got bit by the motivation bug a bit to fix up Flames of Wu so I can get it more or less out of BETA release even though some 175+ have already downloaded it, though the feedback has been relegated to the few very helpful individual here on the LYS forums to helps spot bugs.

ModeratorYeah, there is some targeting issue going on that has to be resolved. It's also evident in patch 1.3. Will have to wait for MiDKnighT to see what he can come up as that is a coding/targeting issue.
Other than that, how goes your playthrough of 3.0?

ModeratorThe original idea was 16 and save the last block for "special" cases like Zhuge Liang's extra 5 INT over Sima Yi or Lu Bu's 5 STR over Zhang Fei would give them both that extra bar to make them more unique.

ModeratorAlso, the AC bar, even with 200 AC is shorter than the AP bar which might have a weapon with a numerically less number. Is there a way to actually display an officers base AC without it just being black? For example, see below. 150 AC and that tiny bar.
