Landen Kingdom
Rhys starts off in the village of Landen. You can explore around and talk to the people, but you need to exit out to the north and then find Maia in the next castle-type area. You two will then proceed to go get married but out of nowhere a Layan enemy comes and steals her.
Rhys goes insane and his dad throws him in jail. Grab the 300 Meseta, a Monitor and a Knife. Go towards the cell door to see Lena. She will mysteriously help you escape from jail here.
Now you can go to town. You have that Knife but you’ll want to build up a bit so you can buy a Short Sword and a HuntgHelm. After you gain a level or two go south to Yatta. Talk to everyone there and you will learn that you can probably get use of the boat if you have a Cyborg in your party.
Ilan
Head to the southeast following the coast and bridge. Then go straight south to reach the village of Ilan. The key is to talk to everyone here notably the blue robed guys in the north to learn that a Layan has been spotted north of here by some water.
You have probably already been to this pond type area before but the cyborg only appears after you talk to those guys in Ilan. Watch out for the Moos over here their Foi can make short work of you. Talk to Mieu to learn she has been waiting 1000 years to join Rhys.
Yatta
When you return to Yatta, the old man will gladly let you travel south with the boat now that you have a Cyborg. You may wish to buy her another Claw and then build up her level for a bit. The cave that you reach southwest of where the ship parks is difficult so you will need to be prepared with Monomates. You are going to get poisoned a lot so you might want to make a few trips to the cave as it’s a good method to build up levels and gain meseta anyway.
Cave south of Yatta
Check out the west path and go south for an Escapipe. Travel northwest and you’ll go west for a bit to find a Dimate. South of this is an Antidote, and then go back north, east a little, and then south again for a Shield.
You will need to take the path south of the Antidote chest and eventually west to a really wide open area. North of here is the green haired Lyle. Strange guy, but he lets you take the Sapphire. With the Sapphire in hand, you can Escapipe or just walk back to gain more experience.
Ilan
Rest up at Ilan and you will want to go northeast of here (east of where the Mieu pond was) and then north to find a Layan Shrine and a cave.
Cave between Landen Kingdom / Aquatica
You need the Sapphire to enter this cave. There are some difficult enemies in this cave but you are not exploring it entirely at first.
Go north all the way, then east past the first south path, but take the second southern path. Then, quickly take the next path going east until you reach a fork. If you want an Antidote go north otherwise continue south.
Keep going south and then east for a Monomate. From here you can just go north a little and then east all the way for the stairs going up to the land of Aquatica and Rysel to the southeast as you exit the cave in this snow-covered land.
Rysel
The people in this fishing town are having a problem with the weather. Be sure to go to the top floor of the store shops as one will mention a tower in Aridia that can change the controls.
Plenty of weapons / armor to upgrade here. You will want two Hunting Claws, Hunting Vest and Force Boots for Mieu. Then grab a Steel Armor for Rhys. You should be well equipped for a desert trip.
Aquatica / Aridia Cave
This cave is hidden. You need to go south and then east of the Rysel bridge, and then south and line yourself up between the two broken down castles. You will find the hidden staircase.
Begin to head south and you will see that you have a straightaway for a while. When you reach an intersection go west as the north path is a dead end. At the next intersection continue south and east for a Dimate. Then continue following the path west for another Dimate. Follow this path west until you find an Antidote.
Now just go southwest until you reach the stairs going up.
Aridia
You are in the Aridia area. As you see, it is a desert. Go north a bit then west about 15 spaces. Line up your Monitor so that you are to the north of that river. Then go directly south. You will see some cyborgs along the way.
Hazatak
Just cyborgs here. They still have helpful information; you are looking for Wren somewhere in the desert and then you can fix the Weather Controls.
Buy a Sword for Rhys here and a Hunting Shot for no one in particular. From outside of Hazatak, go west a bit and you will find a few caves. The eastern one you can actually enter (there are a bunch of blocked caves in this area).
Wren’s Cave
It is another red cave. There are a ton of paths going north here and you’ll notice the northwest ones are the ones that go through. If you head to the northwest corner you will find a Dimate and east of this an Escapipe.
Go south and then further east, now you are in a wide open area. Go up north to meet Wren. Now that you have Wren the next few events should go smoothly assuming you buy him stuff and build him up a bit.
Rhys should be around 11-14 at this point with Mieu just behind him. Hopefully you bought the HuntgShot as it will increase his attack by 46! Likely he has the highest attack already.
Aridia Weather Control Tower
You will need to go to the southeast corner past a few Layan Shrines to get here.
As you walk in go to the stairs to the north. Go east a bit (skipping the stairs going down) to get a Trimate. Back down the nearby stairs, and then east to find Lyle again. Remember Lyle from the Yatta Cave? He is evidently from Aquatica and needs your help to change the controls, so he joins. He has a lot of attack spells and starts off with a staff. You will want to return back to Hazatak to rest and get Lyle some stuff, like a Bandanna and Cape to make his defense passable.
Further east from where Lyle was to find a Monomate, and a path going south. This leads to the Weather Control Center where Wren really can fix it in a few seconds. There is an Antidote just west of this, but head out of here now. The rest of this place is checked out later.
Hazatak
Just go back here to rest and talk to the villagers as they have new stuff to say. You will need to make the treck back to Aquatica through the northeast cave.
Rysel
Once you get back to Aquatica you will see the beautiful land. At Rysel, talk to the older guy just north of here and you can use his ship now! Get ready to use the boat.
Agoe
Check out the east village. Notice these places are very close to eachother, but they do not get along. You will hear a lot about those Layan’s in Shusoran.
Ignore the weapons but there may be some decent steel armor for your party like Steel Vest, Steel Helm, and Steel Gear. Then just talk to the people. Basically they hate the Layan’s at Shusoran but they all admit they cannot defeat them. Even the king to the north has no confidence whatsoever.
Shusoran
Tons of great stuff to buy here. There is the CeramShot for Wren, SteelSwd for Rhys, Steel Claws for Mieu, and SteelStf for Lyle. And those are just the weapons. The armor shop has all sorts of Steel and Ceram gear for your party. But you will need to build up meseta to get all this, surely. Talk to everyone around town, checking the 2nd floor of each building – you will learn of Cille from one guy.
If you remember from Agoe, monsters come from the fountains in Shusoran. Well, check the northwest fountain by walking north into it and you will find stairs.
Shusoran Cave
Upon entry, go directly north for a Trimate. Go back to the stairs and then just head straight east to find another set of stairs going up. You heard Shusoran is heavily fortified, but it looks like you just have to go through a fountain and a little bit further to find a way in. Well, you’re not done yet.
There are monsters abound even once you go up the stairs. Go west when you get out, and when you see a slim path between the trees going north, take it. There are stairs just north of here and in the treasure is a Trimate. Back upstairs and then west for another set of stairs going down.
Go south and grab the Trimate just to the west (take the path going north for the chest). Then go east and north to find stairs going up. Head west all the way, and then south. Lyle leaves you here but keep going. A guard seems to have come from behind to trap you.
Strangely enough, Lyle is right here with Lena. Lena is the one who saved you from jail at your hometown. But you have to fight Lyle first. After you best him, he seems to respect you and stays in your party? Lena joins too and gives helpful information about the Moon, Aridia, and Maia! There are no enemies left in Shusoran so exit out to the south. In town, buy any armor / weapons you could not afford earlier and be sure to outfit Lena with armor (buy her Steel Knives or LaserNeedles at Agoi).
Weather Control System
You have to travel all the way to Aridia and then to the southeast for the Weather Control Tower. Inside make your way back to the Weather Control Machine you used earlier with Wren.
Go south for a set of stairs going up. Go all the way east and north for an Antidote. West of here is a Trimate. Continue to go west and look for a path leading up. From here there is a machine to the west where the Moon Stone and Moon Tear will be used. Dahlia the purple planet moves and you will be able to go north of Shusoran to Cille.
Cille
After you exit the weather control tower and then travel all the way back to Shusoran, take the north exit (through the castle) so you can reach the north part of the coast. As you go up there, a path will emerge going north to Cille.
The people here really hate you and of course do not want you marrying Maia. You will notice the weapons and armor here are ridiculously expensive and unless you are cheating you cannot afford this right now.
Also like Shusoran you can travel through the fountains, but there are over 10 of them to the north part of town.
Cille Castle Dungeon
Take the rightmost fountain for an Escapipe. The next one to the west leads to a dead end, while the next one to the west is an Antidote. Or you can take any one of the next two to get there also. The next fountain to the west allows you to work your way further to the north and eventually west for a long ways. You will be able to go south a little for a Trimate and then can enter the stairs going up.
As you head a great deal east, you can then head south and west into the castle area. You are looking for the King of Cille who is holding Maia. He fights you with a bunch of Dryads. They are not that difficult and Wren can mop them up quickly. Then you need to put the boots to the king of Cille. His Zan is annoying but you should be able to make do.
Afterwards you are immediately given a choice between Maia or Lena. Now the story branches off into Ayn or Niel.
