Dong Zhuo's Rivals Unite - 189 A.D.

Overview:

As the Yellow Turbans were defeated, there were several rulers left to vie for power. A coalition was struck between several of the more righteous rulers (or so they claimed; they were all self-serving) to stop the tyrannical Dong Zhuo of Luo Yang, who starts off with the most cities and generally considered the most manpower. That said, with able rulers such as Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, Sun Jian, Liu Biao, and Liu Yan, it is pure mayhem as most of these rulers have plenty of officers yet little room to expand. Meanwhile, there is a nearly equal amount of poor rulers that are quickly over-run, especially in the center of China. Winning a quest with Kong Zhou, Qiao Mao, Han Fu, Wang Lang, Kong Rong, or Yan Baihu is difficult and only a veteran should attempt these rulers. Personally this is far and away my favorite scenario and I've probably played this more than all the others combined. Why? I enjoy the endless permutations; sure Cao Cao is probably going to take the center and Yuan Shao will take the north, but it's always nice to see Gongsun Zan take over Yuan Shao and Han Fu take over Cao Cao once in a while. Some of the hardest challenges are presented in this scenario, as Qiao Mao is probably one of the 3 hardest rulers to use in this entire game, regardless of scenario.
