You find yourself back at the Red Sprite. Arthur eventually re-boots and speeds us up on everything.the situation. The Formless Matter we have is actually Exotic Matter, a material that controls time-space navigation away from the Vanishing Point. Formless Matter has been classified as EM: Eridanus. Evidently those three strange life forms wish for us to do more work in the Schwarzwelt. They give Arthur information about an entity known as Mem Aleph. You are then asked if it is easy for you to go forward.
Fornax Sector Code F
Our new sector is Fornax and our new mission is to find the Exotic Matter within this sector. Main Mission: Fornax’s Exotic Matter accepted. Go and give Irving the Klein Bottle. New sub-apps are available; HP Regen II and MP Regen I.
As you can see, Fornax is by itself on the map. Enter it. North all the way and then northeast for a heal spot. East of this for Amrita Soda x2. Back south and east when you can. Then north for Detox Core x5 forma. East and north again for Recovery Core x3. South a long ways, west a bit and then north for a long route to a Balm of Rising x1 treasure. South and west for a dead end but AC Forite x1 forma. Back to the start and take the northwest path this time.
In one of the bottom right areas of this west area you will see Futotama. Ask Futotama about that request made by Ame no Uzume, who wondered about Lady Amaterasu’s whereabouts. She cannot be found, seems she must be wearing the Marebito Robe. However Futotama can give you the Tamashiro Mirror which should help you discover the truth. Take this back to Eridanus Sector and take that shortcut path to 2F, just west of the entrance to the Sector. Then, go to the far northwest of this rectangular area and you will find a Gate Search Type C door. Scan through and you will find what looks like a Kinnamon but is actually Amaterasu after you use the Tamashiro Mirror. Of course, Futotama was following the light so here he is. Then Ame no Uzume. The EX Mission Marebito, the foreign god is now complete and you acquire the Sound Jewel x1. Take this back to Irving at the Lab and he will be able to enhance your Gate Search function. You now have Gate Search E.
Back north and west when you can for a sideways T; south leads to a Soma Drop x1. Take the north route here for an AT Forite x2 forma along the way. Follow along for a door to the northeast that is a Terminal. South of here and you are warned of a strong presence ahead. Rest up and go forth with Bufu users (and those who can protect against Agi).
Sure enough, an enemy pops up. Seems to be Tyrant Morax. He wants revenge for his previous defeat. But wait, there’s more, he changes to a new form in this world; Moloch. He asks you an alignment-based question before battle (“I already know” for Chaos, “Stay away from humans” for Neutral and “Demons should die” for Law). Tyrant of Flames Moloch is obviously going to be weak against Ice and having resistance to Agi would help. Not really a difficult battle either way. He is going to use Maragidyne so if you have Fire reflect you’ll do massive damage. Tyrant Moloch has around 2200-2300 HP so this should not take you too long if you have like-alignment demons. You can now fuse Tyrant Moloch after the battle.
Further ahead you hear some more creepy enemies behind the doors. One says Buono – must be a Horkos clone. This means all the old bosses have been born again from the womb of the Goddess Tiamat.
Suddenly, behind you is Louisa Ferre. She says she will be watching you. Is she the Goddess Tiamat? Anyway, those three strong demon presences are there once more, so new Main Mission: Defeat the Three Demons. You have an idea of who these enemies are from the previous encounters but we won’t fight them for a while yet. Mitra was the second boss so let’s take his route first (the west door).
You will notice just as you enter this door that new enemies are within. Follow along the path to Fornax B1F. North all the way and west for a Calm Core x5. South of here to find a Reaper Rime x1. In this area is an elevator and to the north is a door. Take the north door first and follow the east route for an AC Forite x1. Back west and take the north route for Recovery Core x5 and east all the way for a staircase going down to Fornax B2F. There is a door nearby but like many around here, it is a one-way. But there should be a DF-Forite x2 to the right of this door (south side). The far southeast has a Dekunda Stone x2 treasure. Take the middle east path as you go south and you will see a strange purple-clad girl. This is Alice and she is looking for a bunny. New EX Mission: Catch the Rabbit.
To complete this EX Mission – Catch the Rabbit, you need to be very fast. This needs to be done in one moon. Take that west route to the one-way door going north, and then east all the way for the stairs down to Fornax B2F. On this floor you will see the Hare of Inaba. This is who Alice is looking for. He runs off so head all the way west to talk to a demon, who hints at the rabbit taking a turn and dumping down a bit. So take your first west and west all the way for a pit. Now you are on Fornax B3F. The rabbit comes by and runs once more, so head east and when you can go south, look towards the east wall for a Gate Search door. Northeast all the way to drop down a pit. Continue on B4F until you get to an intersection to see the rabbit wailing for help. Follow the south path to drop down once more, to Fornax B5F. All the way west through the Poison and then heal-up as you get to the dead end. Please equip Mudo protection (or demon’s that are ST / NU / RF for Mudo). Alice has made her way here. You can sit and watch her torture and kill the poor bunny (sick..), but either way you have to fight Fiend Alice. Strange battle. Physical attacks do next to no damage and gun-type attacks are reflected. Your only hope are the four elemental-type spells and even they are reduced in attack power against Fiend Alice. She does only have 1500 HP or so though. Die For Me has a really high success rate even if you are strong against Mudo. Winning allows you to fuse Fiend Alice. As for the dead rabbit, all of his wounds have been healed. With EX Mission: Catch the rabbit! complete, you get Hexagram x1. Hare of Inaba then flees.
From this point on B5 go east for a grey forma (AT Forite x1). East and south and west for a one-way door and a White Core x3 forma. Southeast of here for AT Forite II x2 forma. Take the west path south all the way for a one-way door. This leads to that elevator. Take this back because we need to get that Hexagram examined by Irving. He takes a look at it and has a new enhancement for your Main App. You now have Forma Search C. There were also a few new products that could be manufactured, notably the Hardwired armor and Answerer Knife.
Return to Fornax B2F. Talk to the demon at the far west and he will mention all the pits around here. The room to the west has nothing besides that pit we fell in chasing the rabbit. Go south a bit and west for a heal restoration area on the ground. South and east for a Terminal to save. In this area there are six total areas and each has a pit at the far end (we already went to the north-most one for the bunny).
We’ll start from the top. Take the next pitfall (the east route just above the terminal) and you fall to Fornax B3F. Should be a Femme Spool x1 right as you drop. Continue to the west and you will fall through another hole to Fornax B4F. A Rising Core x3 forma is around the corner to the east on this level. South on this path as you have to fall through the whole to Fornax B5F. Take the elevator to reach the top and get to the Terminal / Heal spot on B1 again.
If you take the next pit to the south (east end) you will end up in an area of B3F with another pit but also a Gate Search door on the west end. Open it but drop down the pit on that east end. West and north on B4F to fall through another pit and you will get a warning about getting close to a tough enemy. There is a Terminal to the south and then east for a rare forma: Sun Mirror. South of here for a heal spot, then south and east for a Soma x2 treasure. Should have another Rising Core x3 forma to the west of here. Now rest up and get demons that are strong against Bufu. Also get a lot of Garu users to exploit this bosses weakness and if they are like-alignment, even better. Return north towards the Terminal (using the heal point if you’d like) and then Tyrant Mitra busts through.
Actually, it is Fallen Mithras. He says demons should rule over humans (Top for neutral, middle for law, bottom for chaos). This is really one of the easier bosses left. Mithras will still use moves that Mitra did, like Waking Dream and Light of Order. Lots of Explosive Fists so if you have physical attack defense, even better. His ice attack is Ice Breath and he uses it rarely, though it can be devastating if you don’t have bufu protection and it goes off 4 times per use. Mithras has just over 2000 HP so this shouldn’t take too long, though his defense is decent. You can now fuse Fallen Mithras.
The Red Sprite
Unfortunately, after this battle Arthur has detected strange behavior from Captain Jack’s Squad. Time to head to their secret destination to confirm their intentions. Before that, go to Lab to show Irving the Sun Mirror. Sounds like when combined with something else the Sun Mirror has great use but we need to wait still. Go to Sickbay if you need to and then head to the Deck. Two Plane Shifts coming up.
HQ of Jack’s Squad
Go up ahead to speak with Ryan. We won’t be talking to Jack it looks like, and we won’t be able to create our own space-time pocket either. How unfortunate. Bugaboo senses something odd going on with Ryan, but Ryan offers to buy him. Jimenez is obsessed so there is no way he is selling. Nothing else you can do but leave for the Red Sprite.
Arthur can’t help but be intimidated by their technology. Crewman Jimenez offers to act as the Spy, keeping tabs on Captain Jack’s Squad, whether you want to or not.
Fornax Sector
Back to Fornax Sector. That was a nice little break, but it’s time to take the east door on 1F. This leads towards Horkos, so take those stairs in the northeast to Fornax B1F. West when you get out and north for Chakra Pot x1. South to that east exit, and then take that north and east for Reaper Rime x1. South a tad and all the way east for Miracle Core x3. AC Forite x2 in the far southeast corner but to continue on head northeast. Wrap around to the northwest to find AT Forite x1 and the stairs going down to Fornax B2F.
Take the long route east, and then south, and west. It’s a dead end but there is a door on this south end. It leads to a dark area. Just head west until you hit a wall, and then look south for a door. A DF Forite x1 forma is just around the corner on the west end, and then further north for another door leading to a dark area. East all the way, south a few spots and look west for a door to enter. Grab the Magic Mirror x2 forma here. Return back to where you entered this part of the dark area. Go straight south and look east towards the end for a door to enter. Take the Wilder Eye x1 and follow the path to the stairs to Fornax B3F.
Heal spot to your south as you enter. The door here leads to another dark area. North all the way, and then west for about 5-6 steps until you can go north. Then you go north for a few steps and look west for a door (there will be a grey forma nearby (AC Forite x2)). Enter the door to the south for another dark area. South a few squares and look east for a door and the stairs to Fornax B4F.
East all the way here for a Terminal. Save and then take the south door for a dark area. West a few squares, then south all the way. East from here for a door and a set of stairs going down to Fornax B5F. Take the Ma Incense x1 here and go back up. Enter the dark area again, go west once and back north all the way. This is the same intersection you were at earlier, this time go west all the way. Then north, west, and south for a door to enter. Stairs going down to Fornax B5F.
A powerful demon is up ahead. Use the heal spot and north and east for a Terminal to save. As we remember from the Tyrant Horkos Glutton of Hell battle, he is weak against Fire and Electric. Physical / Gun attacks won’t do anything and neither will Bufu. Make sure your main has a gun that has something like Flame Shot, Bolt Spray, etc. Through the door by the Terminal when you are ready, and then go northwest to find a rare forma; the Moon Mirror.
Further ahead and we come to Horkos. And then, uh, he turns into something else. This is Reaper Orcus, he who has beckoned countless humans to the underworld. First answer for Neutral, second answer for Chaos, third for Law. Reaper Orcus still likes to ‘take a bite’ to absorb back HP. Grocery Run will bring back Beast Katakirauwa. Same enemy you fought before, just a little more HP. Another easy boss battle and you can fuse Reaper Orcus.
Bad news after the fight. Crewman Jimenez has been captured by Jack’s Squad. Hard to be surprised by this. Time to head back, but first follow the path you were taking for a one-way door going north. East for another door and follow the path to AT Forite II x1. Follow this path to stairs going up to Fornax B4F. Take the door in the southeast to a dark area. You can see where the door is, just north of the other dark-area door and the Terminal. Take it back and go into the Red Sprite.
The Red Sprite
Jimenez has indeed been captured, and Captain Jack and Ryan actually do call in from the Lightning ship. Sounds like Jimenez is going to be a part of the experiment. New Main Mission: Save Crewman Jimenez.
Before leaving the Red Sprite, deliver the Forma you acquired on that trip to defeat Reaper Orcus. Now that Irving has the Sun Mirror and the Moon Mirror, it is closer to doing something, but not yet. You may be able to purchase something else too. I was only able to get the Holy Knife but I rarely use a sword anyway.
Captain Jack’s HQ
Enter Jack’s HQ and you will get in a fight with a few Human Soldiers. These guys have a ton of HP and though they have a decent attack as well, they aren’t very hard. They are accompanied often times by random, low level grunt type demons. Take the left route and south to see a Terminal, and then a door by itself on the west end. Within are two more Human Soldiers but also a Human Sergeant. They mostly just use regular attacks so it’s just a long fight of absorbing their weak attacks. A demon is set free that had been tortured.
Next, go east into a room with strange machines and cultivation tanks. Mutilated demons screaming for their body parts and to be free again. Two more Soldiers and a Sergeant in here to fight. Turn the cultivation tank off after this to let them rest in peace. North and take the northeast door and search the middle-north area of that room for a Gate Search type B door. There is a rare forma within, the Piercing Stone. Back to the main hall and west and north for a new room. This is where the Lightning Ship is, but it’s parked. Check the far west of the main hall here and the wall can be scanned through. Life Stone x5 treasure within, and another gate search type b door at the north end. Scan through that for Rising Core x1.
Time to return back to the Red Sprite for a moment. You should have the entire 1F mapped out which means you just need to go in the basement which is right at the front of their HQ. Anyway, at the Red Sprite, you hand over the Piercing Stone and you will have an enhanced Visualizer; Visualizer B.
Back into Jack’s Squad HQ. Enter the B1F stairs in front of you and then look east for a wall to scan through. Take the south route and the door there for a Frag Grenade x2 treasure, and then return back and go north. That strange woman is here. Continue along this path for a door to the west and a dark area. If you have that Visualizer B you should be able to see fine now. Take that first door to the north for Bead x2. Back in the dark area and follow the path west and south. Two doors at the far south here. Take the far south one first for Nerve Gas x2. Take that next path and you will come to a scientist. He says that Jimenez is in an Underground Lab, but you need a passcode. Continue to ask him questions including ‘about the scientist’. Since he’s the scientist he should know the Passcode, so he does indeed give it to you.
Okay, head out of the dark area and return to the beginning of B1F. You can now open that door just south of the initial stairs. No matter what you do here the results will be the same (though helping the process with your Demonica gives you some Chaos points I believe.
Time to rest up and gather yourself after this. It is time to confront Captain Jack at the Lightning Ship.
It is pried open by Jimenez when you get there. Jimenez holds off some random enemies while it is time to do battle with Human Jack. Human Jack is accompanied with two Pisaca’s. They are annoying so you’ll want to use Fire to burn them away quickly. They have an ABSURD amount of hit points for a random enemy however, and if they put you in bomb status quickly use Dis-Bomb or Amrita to cure it. Jack himself has an extremely powerful gun attack, Rain Strike, and you will want allies who can (preferably) reflect it or at least be strong against it or nullify it. I had Tyrant Loki who had null protection against guns so that was a big help. Sunset Melody does decent damage to all allies and lowers their attack just a bit. The worst is Pure Blue and you will have to hope he is not liberal with using it otherwise this could be a very long battle. Jack only has about 2000 HP and his defense is not that good, but he is not weak to anything and the Pure Blue can heal 1000+ hp at once! This is bad. You can try to Charm him with Marin Karin, Charm Strike, etc as that will preoccupy him when he would otherwise maybe heal himself. It is hard to get him charmed though. Either way, once you find a way to take him out you get Spirit Stalk forma.
After the battle, something happens to Mr. Jack. Ryan then begs for mercy, willing to say something about the Exotic Matter that we need. Zelenin then shares her opinion.
The Red Sprite
Back at the Red Sprite, Main Mission: Save Crewman Jimenez is finished. Arthur plans on stripping the Lightning Ship of the ability to move but they will be able to live and function in the mean time. One last special rare forma was acquired, the Star Mirror. A question is asked about what to do with Jimenez: top answer being Chaos, middle being neutral and the bottom being law. Back to Irving at the Lab and it seems with the Sun Mirror, Moon Mirror and now Star Mirror, we can finally do something. We now have Enemy Search B, allowing us to find tougher enemies with the function than before.
Fornax Sector
Back to Fornax Sector and to the north end of Fornax 1F. This time, take the center route. Straight north to Fornax B1F. There is a demon in this room who mentions of a demon below that is invisible, but he is very angry too. Take the stairs down to Fornax B2F at the north end.
Go forth for a Soma Drop x1. Continue on to Fornax B3F. Funny demon just east as you enter. Another treasure is here, the Amrita Soda x1. Fornax B4F has a new forma, AT Forite X x1.
At Fornax B5F, use the heal spot on the left and the Terminal on the right. The following battle will be one that tests your physical defenses; so bring in demons that are good at that sort of thing. Fire defense helps too because she will still use Maragion. Lady Asherah is weak against ice and at least strong against everything else (well besides physical attacks). Again you will want to dust off the Frost Cannon for Frigid Shot, and having Loki helped with his Ice Boost + Bufudyne.
Go ahead and you will see a Spirit Strange Demon, thanks to the enemy scan. It will use Maragion and Asura Roga, so hopefully you can kill it quick before it does any damage (it does have probably 1000 HP). Take the stairs nearby and you are warned of a tough enemy ahead. Rest up and prepare for the above battle. You first see Tyrant Asura, who then realizes the true form; Lady Asherah. To her comment about destruction rejuvenating earth, the top answer is Neutral, middle is Law and bottom is Chaos.
Lady Asherah will start the battle with Asura Roga. Defend and pray that it hits only one of your demons, at worst. If it gets your Main you might as well reset. She will then mostly use physical attacks, like Ashura (strong physical damage to all allies) and a charge + attack combo that can kill any character if they are not defending and / or strong against physical attacks. Black Flame is a tactic she rarely uses but can do massive damage if it goes off 3-4 times when she does use it. Just keep at it and if you have enough Bufu users with the same-alignment, you should be able to defeat her after she gets off a second Asura Roga (assuming it doesn’t do much damage). You can now fuse Lady Asherah.
Main Mission: Defeat the Three Demons is now complete. You now have control in Fornax B6F. Not anything to the southeast save for a tough enemy search fight and White Core x3. The southwest end also has a White Core x3 and a door that leads south to a dark area. The room to the east is a dead end, as is the west room though it is a bit bigger. So work your way southeast in the dark area. Another empty room on the east end but just when it looks like a dead end, you see a phase shifting element in the south room. Time for some space manipulation.
Head north in the Phase shift to a dark area, then go straight north for more phase shift. Work your way west and southwest for Megido Stone x2. Go all the way north now to connect to the normal part of Fornax B6F. You can also go to the northeast and scan through a Gate Search type C door to get to the eastern part of Fornax B6F. South of here quite a ways and you will see a yellow forma; AT Forite X x1. West of here for another Gate Search type C door facing the north. This leads to DF Forite II x2.
The stairs at the very south point of B6F will take you to B7F. You are stopped as you enter to see a marker on the map, indicating a powerful demon ahead. A heal spot and Terminal on your sides here. The door leads to a Forma Search type C, AT Forite X x1. North more and on the west end you will meet a cocky demon. Further north is our boss.
To prepare, note that Drake Tiamat uses all kinds of ice spells, most notably Mother Earth for large damage + she heals half the damage. You probably will want to purchase the Hardwired Armor for the Hero to protect, and make sure the demons you bring along have some sort of ice resistance. Null or Reflect for at least two is preferable because since she heals half the amount, if she takes off too much with it she’ll heal too much and you’ll be screwed. Also will need Zio users and a good Elec-type gun. The Frost Cannon has an Elec Spray as does the Buffalo Gun. Having a good physical defense is good too as she has an attack-all physical attack that she uses about as often as Mother Earth. Have many that can heal-all because you will likely be in a battle of attrition here; Drake Tiamat has a ton of HP so you will want to de-buff her for this long battle. She does have Luster Candy to offset your work so don’t let her get ahead, she can be dangerous then. You can now fuse Drake Tiamat! Mother is now gone.
On the ground we find a Salt Lump and EM: Fornax. With the Fornax Exotic Matter in hand, Arthur chimes in and says congratulates and time to head back. Main Mission: Fornax’s Exotic Matter is now complete. That strange Gore returns, noting that Mother has left and it is time for him to then shift.
The Red Sprite
Back at the Red Sprite, it is time to analyze the mission and prepare to shift to a new phase. Meanwhile, Crewman Jimenez will not continue considering his current state cannot be helped. And then an update on Jack’s Squad and how their work with forma and whatnot will be reported through us.
Jack is annoying thanks to Pure Blue. Expending my entire inventory in a long battle because of it. Finally got lucky with it after three or four tries and he only used Pure Blue two times in the battle.
thanks man
