Trying to get tuned up for some of these newer/bigger/badder mods by playing some classic partials. What better one to play than the Jin Xuan mod by my guy DragonAtma.

Progress goes up to about Jing Zhou region – after that it is a few characters in spots but mostly the standard DoaE. This was before map edits were easy; heck even the text editor was separate from the regular editor. So for this mod it is mostly text/characters replaced. Gameplay balance is pretty good.

My favorite part of this game is when you beat the Yellow Scarves and Jin Xuan assumes the throne, and then in Liu Feng’s spot it is a fellow announcing himself as the body-double for Jin Xuan. So the man joins back again.
