The DS version of Dragon Quest IV Chapters of the Chosen is quite similar to the Playstation 1 version that never made it overseas. The game plays much faster, with a smaller scaled map and overall faster gameplay (faster in shops, with menus, in battle, etc). One of the first true epic console RPG’s and certainly one of the very best NES games. The first thing veterans will notice is the difference in languages among the countries. Most are European dialects but you will find more as you explore more of the world. It can be a little confusing to understand every word but you will get the general idea of what is going on, and it is amusing more often than not. One big improvement in gameplay is that in the final chapter, Chapter 5, you will be able to control all of the characters instead of just the Zenithian Hero.
