Final Fantasy I is for the NES. The first of 12 Final Fantasy’s (not including all the other games not in the numerical FF series).
You get to choose your classes at the beginning – it’s certainly light in story and heavy in battle – leveling up – buying magic / weapons / armor.
There have been a few remakes of this game. Still, none are close to as difficult and raw as this version of Final Fantasy I.
All the classic classes are available – Monk, Fighter, White Mage, Red Mage, Thief, Black Mage, etc.
The Four Fiends and Garland / Chaos act as the enemies.
It’s truly a dark vs. light, good vs. evil story.
