Hi All,
Boneduke and I finally figured out why some warps cause the “hierarchy of the map” to move up and some don’t. This is important for controlling hierarchy of the map correctly. For example if you use a normal warp on a town and stick a cave in the town you are going to jack up your hierarchy when you step out of the cave. We documented how this works here: http://doaerhguide.wikidot.com/#toc20
Basically the “hierarchy” thing comes not from the warp itself but from the type of tile used.

* The boxes would have preview pics of where you are on the map (kinda like battles page and places page).
* The bottom half of the screen would be grayed out unless there are related warps (for example Guan Ping cave has 3 warps associated with it – one entrance and two exits).
* Warp number = assigned warp number in DOAEditor
* Cave Warp? = self explanatory
* Warp location = warp location in the ROM in case you want to manually look.
* Source Address = mailing address of the first address in the warp.
* Destination Address = mailing address of the second address in the warp.
* Party Orientation = which direction should the party be facing once they step through the warp?
* Place ID = what location ID are we traveling to?
* Set Destination to Place ID = Read a text table and set the destination address to the default place address. If you have feedback about the layout, please speak now or forever hold your peace :)

When moving warps around in early hacking days, my guys were always jacked up and facing weird directions and sometimes the 2nd & 3rd spots were positioned inside mountains. I always thought there was some spot in the code near where the warp spots were that decided the direction the guys were facing/where they were located on the way out.
