Lunar The Silver Star came out for the illustrious Sega CD in 1992. Lunar Silver Star though was a groundbreaking RPG with it’s use of FMV’s and quality music. In Japan, Lunar Silver Star for Sega CD sold almost as many copies as the system itself!
Young Alex from Burg starts his journey in Burg as he wishes to travel like Dragonmaster Dyne. He goes on an adventure to a new continent with the large trade town of Meribia, and Alex breaks off with his friends Luna and Ramus along the way.
Just as Alex begins to learn magical abilities in Meribia, he learns of the deceit among the evil ones. Xenobia of the Vile Tribe and Ghaleon of Vane are the main enemies, with Nash of Vane acting as a puppet for Ghaleon along the way but is also a force in combat for you when he is around.
Alex finds dragon equipment and spells through his travels to the Blue Dragon Cave, White Dragon’s Lair, Black Dragon’s Cave and the Red Dragon’s Cave. His friends are very powerful compared to his earlier allies, with Kyle of Nanza being a physically dominant character and Jessica and Mia being able magicians.
