Check it out. Guess we’re not the only ones to do a mod.
I was just messing around looking to see how high up LYS is for Destiny of an Emperor mod. We’re pretty high but I found this too.
The craziest part…they must love Huo Hu too! New sprite and they’re using him in the final battle.
What a weird party that is btw.
Wait a minute…is that someone from here who made this?! I notice the date is Nov 10 so it’s new. Zhang Lu?

Huo Hu is a god, but I’m going to go back to the old sprite. I also set all officers who can join you to gain soldiers, thus giving the player more options for the kind of party to take to Sima Yi :)

During editing, while tweaking Shu, and replacing an officer with Fei Shi, the ROM got corrupt somehow. I can’t explain it, but the thing would save, but when I loaded it right up again, it gave me crazy stats for him. Now I’m back to square ****ing one.
There’s no emoticon to tell you how angry I am right now. NEARLY A MONTH’S WORK, DOWN THE DRAIN. ARGH, I NEED JIU.

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.You know, back when I didn’t know about the loading a rom when you already have a rom open = fatal error thing, I found it pretty easy to start back up. It’s annoying to have to re-add all the digits but it was always fresh in my mind.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingZhang Lu – if you want, I can take a look at the rom. It’s probably just a mixed-up pointer or bad offset somewhere, and a bit of massaging it manually will fix it (I fixed LYS’ early on in about 15 minutes, and that one was seriously screwed up :P )
Plus this gives me an opportunity to see where DoaEd might still have issues.
It’s okay Niahak…I’ll just start over. Guess I can’t edit the names of the soldier forces (Rebel, Brigand, Pirate, Bandit)
I tried shortening their names and it would glitch.

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.Yeah… I honestly should’ve removed the first 4 entries (and the Pirate guy) from being edited. I have no idea what they do differently from other officers and their pointers seem weird too.

I’ve fixed up my mod…and I’ve decided to abandon my custom characters. Instead, I have made a few statistical changes to generals, and have changed things around to make Lu Bu (Wei) and Lu Meng (End of Wu) recruitable. I might work something out to where you could recruit Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shu, Yuan Shao, and Liu Zhang…but I have no idea what you would do with Liu Zhang since he sucks. Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shu, and Yuan Shao have strength over 200, and the Yuans have the intelligence to back it up. Dong Zhuo would probably end up in everyone’s billeting :P
Let’s also not forget the godliness that is Huo Hu.

Soldiers: Gains at level up
Powder: Infinite :P
