Destiny of an Emperor II Wu Mod Guide
Note that these Destiny of an Emperor II Mods are not translated, so using a guide is paramount unless you know Chinese. The maps have even been altered from the original Destiny of an Emperor II.
Again, a big thanks to Lordyuanshu.com forum member Samuel for his work with the Wei and Wu mods. Without his expertise, playing through these games in his native language, these games would be inaccessible.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI read that too, doesn’t one of those posts have a link? He says he finished it (Wei mod), so it can’t be too hard.
No clue about it. I can’t guarantee I can do much with this mod since I’m also using Magic Destiny’s translation is what I’m used to. The Chinese version might have different names that I don’t understand.
Man Taishi, can I have a little more credit than that. It is the exact same as DOAE2 except you are Cao Cao, instead of getting Shu characters at certain points you get Wei’s. It isn’t that hard I guess if you can read the stuff, after playing for a few days I figured out enough to know what the weapons were, they all have the same last character. and revives and stuff are the same price so it’s not too hard to figure those out.
I have an original untranslated rom if anybody wants one to patch it with these mods. And yes the links of page one of that forum will get you the patches and they are legit, I tried both.
I wonder about using the Zheng letter trick in the mods, I bet you could get some weird guys then.
I have yet to try the WU mod. I started, but with no understanding of Japanese or Chinese, and the fact that the map has been changed I don’t know how far I can get.
Don’t worry, I’m not demeaning you. I just meant the language barrier isn’t insurmountable if you can finish it.

Now the battles are all screwed up. I’m fighting rebels with 45000 soldiers…and now I have a general battle against a general with 100 soldiers, and rebels with 6700 and 5400 (x2) respectively.
*runs, that command fails and I get killed easily*

Sun Quan sorta’ looks like Yuan Shu only without the badass facial hair.

Here’s who I’m fighting…no general names, since I have NO IDEA
#1 – 220/104/149, 400 soldiers
#2 – 200/113/146, 350 soldiers
#3 – 60/220/102, 300 soldiers
#4 – 165/78/97, 270 soldiers
#5 – 178/63/100, 280 soldiers
and because I forgot to make Sun Quan the tactician, I lost. Badly. Lemme see if the Game Genie codes for DoaE2 in English work here.

Also, instead of fighting Guan Yu at the 3rd Citadel where Yan Liang is killed, you fight Lu Bu, who only has those 3000 soldiers.
Luo Yang – You get Lu Su as well. I guess he’s this patch’s Yang Huai…only more useful :P

Xiahou Dun joins where you’d normally get Zhou Cang
Xiahou Dun: 230/187/210, soldiers vary
Now Xiahou Yuan joins after beating Cai Yong :D

Dian Wei is the one who sends the note to Yuan Shao this time around.

During who I assume is Sun Ce’s journey to get back to his father (not Sun Quan), the woman in the party fights (normally Gan & Mi don’t fight, but since this is Wu, I’m assuming the female is Sun Shang Xiang)
Sun Shang Xiang (confirm this someone): 5/100/10, 100 soldiers
Taishi Ci joins where Zhou Cang would normally join.

*note: I know NO chinese/japanese, but knowing the officers might go a long way towards someone with chinese/japanese language skills translating this.*

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.Way to go Zhang, I think I like the CAO CAO mission better, I think the old guy is maybe that old Sima that’s on cao cao side at the start of the romance games. Also I think Gou Jia is actually the guy that replaces Chen Deng in this game, the avatar seems more fitting.
I would like to help figure out who these guys are as well. I have a save where I at the end of the game, I will go through and see if I can figure any out.
If you thought the Lu Bu, Red hare battle was weird, wait until you get to the battle where you would normally be saving Himiko, fighting Orochi.
