Speaking of guests, is it just me or is there usually a lurker or two on the site for long periods of time?

Yeah I’ve been trying to figure that out too. I notice Wei Yan’s IP (I think) is usually one of them and a lot of the time there are 5 or 6 guests all with the same IP (ie different windows opened up). So those 27 guests very well could have been a few people being mischevious.

Ya I think it’s definitely the same guest. Currently we have one IP ( 64.124.85.74 ) with several pages up. Definitely a lurker. I wish I would have been looking at the Admin panel on the day that it reached 27 though…

Well I was just talking currently. It’s hard to keep track of all the time but I’ve never seen it get to 27 before (obviously) and I doubt someone opened 27 Firefox windows. Also it’s funny, these lurkers like the Dynasty Warriors forum even though it’s pretty bare currently.

Couldn’t they have used a program on one computer to control 24 or so other ones it was connected to?

May not be what happened, but a few things can cause this:

1) Changing the time of the board.

2) Googlebot on a rampage.

3) Spam bots searching the board for vulnerabilities.

Haha, it’s always the same IP with like 10-15 different windows open. So yeah, could be a bot, it looks pretty thoroughly through the site.
