I figured I may as well pimp this here as well, since this site is a great repository of LoCC stuff.
Legend of Sun Ce is, of course, a mod for Legend of Cao Cao. It’s currently under development and is progressing nicely, so I’ll most likely release bits and pieces of it in a beta form before making a unified release.
The story starts with Sun Ce serving Yuan Shu. From there, he expands to build his own army. The choices you make will change the game’s progression. Will you give Yuan Shu the Imperial Seal, or will you give him Sun Jian’s Ancestral Sword? Will you execute the old, feeble, defeated enemy general?
You’ll also find many new allies, many of whom do not appear in LoCC. Zhu Ran, Ling Cao, Sun Shao, and Lu Fan all show up to join you. Add to that many new enemies, such as Zu Lang, Xu Gong, Wang Lang, and Yan Baihu, and you’ve got a completely new LoCC experience.
All of this will, hopefully, lead to an exciting and epic new tactical experience without changing what made LoCC so great.

The first beta is ready for public consumption. There are a few typos here and there, but I don’t mind you bringing them to my attention (I’m aware of – hopefully – most of them, I just want to get something out the door before interest wanes).
You’ll need to already have obtained the LoCC English release by Lady Wu in order to try the mod.

Known issues:
- Sun Ce and Zhou Yu have blue clothes. They’ll have red clothes in the finished product.
- A few display issues with text in the various map screens between battles.
- One of Taishi Ci’s lines has an extra exclamation point (I’m lazy).
- Duels are pretty wonky at the moment (particularly the Sun Ce vs. Zu Lang duel and the Taishi Ci duels).

This isn’t really polished yet – soldiers will be facing in the wrong direction and what not, and the battles are a bit too easy in my opinion. But I hope that this will open the floor to suggestions.
Good start, but also, I found Liu Yao to be on his desk instead of being behind. It’s as if he became desk-man.
Liu You’s bugged. I’ll have to fix that, but no matter where I put him, he wants to hug that desk like his lover.
A new version has been uploaded with many bug fixes and balance fixes, as well as an additional scene at the end (where Taishi Ci and Zu Lang join Sun Ce, as well as Sun Quan joining, and a peek into Wang Lang’s army). If you’ve already downloaded the file before this was posted, you’ll have to redownload it. (It also features some new title graphics and such.)
I will give it a try once my brother figures out what is wrong with my computer, as I am currently using his LoCC-less computer.
You can download LoCC on his computer, too. :P
One thing I’m toying around with is adding more Sun Ce and Yuan Shu interaction. I don’t want to spoiler it, but despite everything that Yuan Shu does, in the end, he’ll be portrayed in a more positive light.

Oh yes, in case if anybody’s into Yaoi, there’s a yaoi scene after the battle where Sun Ce captures Taishi Ci and Zu Lang.
