After the infamous release of the Rise of Lu Bu Mod which can be found here:

Nice portraits and nice colors. The colors do look very Japanese for some reason.
considering I have spent about a half hour per portrait and Im already on the 4th portrait strip, I hope this mod turns out if I can escape all the mod death-bugs I have been experiencing

With your strips plus the existing ones we can fill up all portrait banks with most excellent portraits.
BTW your Hanzo portrait would be great for bandit forces, etc… no? I like it much better than my poorly drawn stick guys.

hehe, I used it in my Lu Bu mod for the yellow scarves. Not that yours were horrible, but I wasn't a big fan of full body shots in any game really. I had to hand draw in a lot of the details by hand, pixel by pixel since swapping in often creates a horrible picture. This is my cup o'tea, just like you're good at digging through letters :)

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingThat's actually one reason I took this on is that I am familiar w/ a lot of the content, but its still taking a LOT of learning. It'll probably be similiar (hopefully) to the original DOAE in terms of accuracy, just the map will probably mostly be of China O_o

I guess that Tadakatsu Honda will replace Lu Bu as the most powerful warrior.

i don't mean to say anything but mitsuhide served nobunaga oda not ieyasu, your thinking of tedakatsu honda, honzo should have 255 agi i mean he is a legendary ninja, btw tedakatsu honda and keiji meadea would equal lu bu in power and guan yu in int
Keep in mind that Ieyasu also served Nobunaga (until 1582, anyway), so they'd be part of one big happy family.

With the agility update, Hanzo will have pretty much maxed out AGI by endgame, but not overtly imbalancing in earlier chapters.

I loved the "Shogun" book and mini-series which is loosly based on this time period in Feudal Japan. Looking forward to playing this and learning some history :)

Looking forward to playing this and learning some historyAhh, dont hold me to such a high standard… of course, its going to implement many historical figures and events ie: destruction of the Takeda at nagashino is one, but of course some <cough> artistic license <cough> if you wanna call it that when it comes to using and recruiting characters. Usually the traitors like Obu Torumasa I consider fair game :) I'm debating the return of the memorabilia salesman on this one as well :cactuar:
Although not quite historically accurate, keeping Nobunaga as a rather dark character makes the game much more interesting than the typical "happy go lucky troupe" from DOAE
Some of the order of events is currently a little difficult to reproduce since there are so many leader changes and DOAE relies upon having 1 Liu Bei type character throughout the whole game…
Its a crap load of work changing all the former Liu Bei dialogue to generic stuff…
