I’m currently trying to create a game (With RPG Maker 2000… It’s old, I know) Which will start 4000 years after the yellow scarves rebellion. You play as Liu Meng, descendant of Liu Bei. I’d just like to know if Lord Yuan Shu would be interested to host this game once I finish the demo?
It’s a bit big though, because I’m using a lot of mp3 converted into wavs, right now the game takes 150 MB, but I’ll try and get it compressed. If my lord is interested, I could send a screenshot of a field battle in Nan Zhong!

I would play this, I’ve fiddled with RPG Maker 2000 before. Although I might change the name, Liu Meng is pretty similar to Lu Meng. Good luck with this, put some screenshots if you can.
Intriguing….I’d definitely like to see that when you’re done.
As for hosting I’m not sure. You see, we don’t pay for hosting. Friend of ours makes $300,000 yearly through website things so he just allows up to put whatever we want on his host since it doesn’t affect him much. I think 150 megs might be a bit big but we’ll see when the time comes.

Well… As it’s in the future, it dosn’t follow the ROTK story entirely, at the beginning, only half on chinese cities are available. You start at the continent of New China, which is not on earth, after the prologue. (The prologue is the battle at Yi Ling, in 221) Maybe I should send you an earlier version of the game, which only has the Brown scarves chapter (I couldn’t find any yellow scarve sprite, so it’s just brown) but it would give you a general idea about the game, how about that?
BTW, most items and slikks are from DW4, 5. City names are from ROTK 8.
And Nan Zhong is a battle in Chapter 4, I’ve just started it.

Edit: For those Brown Scarves, just put them in Paint, zoom in, and change the squares to the appropriate shades of yellow.
I don’t think I’ll change them, because I would have to redo all the scripts and it’s too long. BTW, tell me where I can send the version one demo. It dosn’t have the good title screen and splash screen, but it will still give a good idea what the game will be.

I think you need to have RPG Maker 2000 and the RTP package to play these games, don’t you? Post those too if you will.
No, it’s a game package, you only need to open the setup.exe with all the files. I’ve prepared the .zip file to put where my lord wishes it. It’s 24 MB.

Hmm…we probably can’t transfer 24 mb over email right?
I’ve got Trillian…but I have a hard time accepting files, something with the firewall issue. I’ll look into it and try to figure out a place to put it.
