ModeratorPositive identification (i.e. screenshots) is a bit much for me, but perhaps these can help you?

Each specific portrait has a filename corresponding to the name of the officer.

KeymasterOkay, DoaE II top from bottom..
Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong, Ma Chao, Zhang Bao, Guan Xing, Zhuge Liang, Pang Tong, Yan Yan, Jiang Wei, Yuan shu, Xu Huang, Lu Bu, Zhou Yu, Wu Yi, Taishi Ci, Zhou Cang, Dian Wei, Xu Zhu, Xiahou Yuan, Xiahou Dun, Zhang Liao, Cao Pi, Sima Yi, cao Cao, Zhang Ren, Guan Suo, Ma Dai, Meng Da, Yan Liang, Cai Mao, Wen chou, Ji Ling, Liu Zhang, Wei Yan, Ma Liang, Orochi, Shadow Guan Yu…then it gets to the generic portraits, which will take me some time.
The last three are not generic though. The last doae ii avatar is Zhang Lu, then Sima Zhao, then Sima Shi.
I'll check out the random officers when I get a minute, problem is, there will probably be multiple generic officers for each of these generic portraits…

ModeratorThe "generic portraits" you showed aren't really portraits, per se; each one is a group of six sections, each eight pixels tall. All generic portraits are actually a group of six chunks and (if it's the original DoaE) usually a new color replacing white.
Huo Hu, for example, gets his top three chuinks from the fifth "generic advisor" grouping and the bottom three from the first grouping, along with a nice grey background color.

Keymasterhaha, that's funny because unfortunately no one else really has time to make different DoaE's. Hell, we have enough tools as is to re-do the original DoaE and even then only a few mods have been completed. Still a cool utility and all, just sayin'…
DragonAtma explained the portrait tiling pretty well. Just a combination of various different tiles for each section of the head.
