I’ve played through Suikoden III three times. The first time Hugo was my Flame Champion, since he seems like the ideal one, being from Grassland and all. Geddoe was next because I like him the best out of the three, and Chris was last because I don’t like her and she sucks with magic (fire magic in particular). So, who was yours?
By the way, this is up because I’m starting Suikoden III. I’m going to be on a mad game playing faze until school is out, then Junsui and I will have to do stupid things like get our business going.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI think Hugo is the default Flame Champ, plus his Fire skill has the highest max. Chris gets an extra scene at the end of Chapter 4 if you choose her though.
I’d go with Hugo, myself.
geddoe already got the lightning rune, chris already got the water rune
for me its best if i gave the flame rune to hugo…..
I use Geddoe…because he’s the only one who fits the character name I always give the Flame Champion (Magus). :P

I’ve tried both Hugo and Geddoe. Hugo seems to have a lot more reason to be the FC (since Geddoe seems to dislike crowds and True Lightning is more powerful anyway :D )… but I like Geddoe better as a character.
Yep I like Geddoe better wielding that True Lightning Rune.
I’m not even sure about Chris. I’ve went through about 4 times, with Hugo a Flame champion twice and the other two once. Chris’ way a few play throughs ago so I forget her story.
One thing I did like about Chris being FC is that I never use the True Fire Rune anyway since it destroys your own group…plus I never use magic with Chris anyway so it’s not like Geddoe or Hugo where they are stuck with the true fire rune wasting a slot.
