Just noticed the LYS Blog has a post up about it.
I got it yesterday at midnight. The Gamestop tournament was somewhat lame; 1 minute matches with a force remote-nunchuk control scheme. Half of the matches ended in sudden death; a half of the rest involved someone dying because they were trying to figure out the controls.
That said, the game itself is good fun (with a GC controller; the only way to play!). I’ve been playing mostly wi-fi, but some Subspace Emissary and a few regular brawls to unlock stuff.
Anyone got it? I’d like to try playing against some of you guys :)
Yea definitely sounds like a fun game…for some reason there were lots of preorders for it here so i made the blog post.
Anyway, when did this come out? Seems weird that it would be out over the weekend.
Also what is Subspace Emissary?

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingIt came out on Sunday. Weird day, but there was a midnight release too. I guess they felt it was worth putting together a weekend release to avoid people skipping work and school to get it :)
Subspace Emissary is the single-player adventure mode. Unlike the adventure mode in Melee, SSE has an actual story. It plays a bit like the old Kirby games (like Super Star), in terms of stage layout and feel.
