Give it to a character. They use it automatically. Give it to a character with a higher natural agility (a hidden stat) such as Jiang Wei or Guan Xing and they will almost always go first. Great for tactics like Ce Mian or Jin Xian.

No problem. Give Chi Tu Ma to someone else, though. Zhang Bao, Zhao Yun, Zhuge Liang?they are far too erratic when using Chi Tu Ma. To really take advantage of the horse it needs to be carried by someone who can go first on a pretty consistent basis. Also, Zhang Bao is a heavy hitter, so why waste him performing Chi Tu Ma?s best tasks, Ce Mian, Jin Xian, etc?

ParticipantI can’t help but love the Engrish.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

I agree, don’t get Zhang Bao at all! Just my opinion…
I do like giving the Chi Tu Ma to Zhuge Liang as it brings his speed up from poor to a little above average so that his An Sha’s come out faster, although he certainly doesn’t always go first like Jiang Wei seemingly does with it.

ModeratorOn a late note, Chi Tu Ma raises the holder's agility by 50%. Song Yong's abysmal 30 agi is still only 45 when he holds it, while Jiang Wei's 250 agility hits the cap of 255. Ma Su, however, has 170 agility, and just barely reaches the max of 255 with the horse.
Too bad everyone you have at the end will likely be either super fast (thus limiting its suefulness) or quite slow (thus often going late even with the horse)…

KeymasterHmm..how do you know this? Through the same type of thing that MeteorStrike used? (seeing what the code spits out as you play)

KeymasterSounds like Chi Tu Ma on Jiang Wei is kind of useless if he's already at 250. Gives you the edge with Si Ma Yi but you could just give it to Guan Xing for 255 and then you'd have two characters at 250+ huohu

ModeratorYep, it's in that 7-page gamefaqs thread with the title "Meteorstrike".
And since Guan Xing has 98 speed, so he'd still be fairly slow (147 speed). In fact, I think NOBODY who gains officers is in the (101~249) agility range… >_<

KeymasterHmm, wow. I guess I haven't noticed the agility levels being that low for the main generals. So Jiang Wei is 250 and everyone else is sub-100? I have a hard time believing that…

KeymasterAfter a quick scan through DoaEd, yea, you're right. Everyone is in the 50-100 range…most of which are like 80-90 agility. Zhang Bao tops out at 100. Blech.
One thing I'd like to say is that I'm convinced that the agility doesn't change with DoaEd. Because my Yuan Shao (Pang Tong position) and Ji Ling (Zhao Yun position) are always horrendously slow even after I make their 60-agility to like 200 or whatever. Niahak already knows this as I've mentioned it before, just noticed it again as I was editing the LYS rom.

ModeratorYeah, I wish I knew what was going on. Either what I thought was agility isn't actually agility, or there's something else that needs to change. I'm 99% sure I do change the value that's there.
Unfortunately, I'm on vacation and didn't think to copy the DoaEd(s) code onto my netbook. I might be able to take a look at this in about a week.

KeymasterWell yea I know I don't blame you, no need to be DoaE testing on vacation huohu . I want to say the agility-editing has worked for some characters I've edited but not the others I've noted (but maybe it hasn't been working at all – what does everyone else who has edited think? ).
The Editor seems to find the data correctly, or so you would think based on real-battle samples. However, Zhang Bao and Ma Chao and Guan Xing seem to be faster to me, relative to the 70-100 they are placed at. Who knows, it's all a mystery. huohu

Participantwell everyone i gave 255 agility goes before everyone with less and the one with chituma goes first though they go through line up in random order sfter, and it seems to me that everyone goes on one side first then the other side but maybe i have a glitch game, the agi of my current team is 35, 255, 135, 180, 200, and the guy with 35 agi still goes before someone on the other team goes even when i went agiesnt a general with 250 agi maybe its based off total team agi
