The original Zhang Lu’s DoaE hack topic is too big and I personally do not feel like sifting through it just to say something…so here’s a new one :P
As I told Zhuge Liang last night, I plan on updating my Lu Bu mod to 2.0 and making significant officer changes. I started early last night and am continuing work on it as we speak. I have only done a few general adjustments, but below is where I will post everything that I have done.
In this game, don’t bother with the Gemsword. It would make no sense to have the person guarding Hu Lao Guan join you, but it would make sense for the person at Hu Lao Guan to go everywhere else :P

Funny story about Zhang Bao. In this universe, Zhang Jiao died of illness before the volunteer forces could defeat him, and the Yellow Turbans just collapsed. Somehow, Zhang Bao escaped into hiding. He comes out of hiding now to aid Lu Bu. Some of the Yuan Shao generals are now serving Gongsun Zan after he routed the Yuan forces. Yuan Shao and Yuan Shu fled to the southwest. *WARNING: This is where the difficulty starts to pick up significantly!*

They see me throwin' fireballs out of my sword, they runnin'.Remember that you can change level progression if you want to make it harder! It is much nicer than cranking up soldier, attack and defense values. It is a major update I need to wrap up for Destiny of an Emperor 2.0.
I may try it once I feel confident about my not so l33t hex editing abilities :P

Storyline: Yuan Shu, after being tricked by Liu Biao into giving up his territory, fled to Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao was soon defeated by Gongsun Zan. Yuan Shao fled into Shu. Yuan Shu moved south to Ling Ling and has used his free time to improve his combat prowness as a rebel. With his newly found strength, Yuan Shu takes his combat party outside of Ling Ling to attack unsuspecting groups and take their money.

Also, this is where I’m going to announce some of the secret characters. Characters you’ll fight in random encounters, but can’t get to join you. You won’t fight these guys in any other situation. You’d be wise to run from these characters unless you’re feeling incredibly suicidal.
