Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingDo you like the feature of duels in Dynasty Warriors 4? They took it out after 4 and don’t plan on re-adding it seemingly. I enjoyed them; it saved me time that’s for certain. However I hate the duels where your officer is too weak to make the enemy general stagger, thus giving you no chance. This is commonplace in Lu Bu duels unless you are built up very well. I think it should be added in DW6 but tinkered with considerably.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingDuels were great! The only downside I saw is that in DW4 original, when you enter a duel, you seem to be returned to your initial stats! At least they fixed that in XL, so that you use the stats you currently have against your opponents!

well returning with your initial stats is a fun and challenging side for me ^_^
the only downside is if your using a buffed general and you lost to a duel your morale decreases =(
its really nice pwning lu bu without any buffed stats…. just imagine yourself as the water and lu bu as a rock with a time limit

If you lose a duel… you lose the WHOLE battle…
If you draw, only then will the morale drop.
If you win against Lu Bu in DW4 original in duel, you’re a true warrior of the three kingdoms.

if you draw it doesnt necessarily mean your morale drops. it depends on the morale of you and the person you’re fighting, and if yours is higher you are expected to win and vice-versa. or so i think

so you guys are saying that when you get in DW4 duels, it goes into their base stats before you built them up? i think it keeps the same stats, because the only way i can even make Lu Bu stagger is with an extremely powered-up general. If it went back to normal stats, you’d never be able to do anything to Lu Bu.

why does my morale always decrease whenever i fight lu bu in a draw with characters that has full stats(e.i. full atk, life, def, mosou,points, and lvl 10 weapon)
but when i use a character with initial stats and tried to duel lu bu(i didnt even hurt lu bu i just tried to run and jump*evading his monstrous triangle skill*and wait for the time to elapse)the battle results are draw… my morale goes up…
Your morale should always go up when you win a duel and should go down when you have a draw (you die if you lose).
Also, for Lu Bu, that’s because you have an "underpowered" character attenpting against Lu Bu, but when you tie him at max power, they consider you as a sore loser…

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingCool video. I loved those duels back on DW4. They were pretty fun, and helpful at times. I think I heard that it will be added in DW6 back, and more realistic. They were very fun back when you fight Lu Bu, almost all the time I died, until I maxed out a person it was a fair fight. Other than that, it was hard.
