It seems you can get the "ending" of the XTREME mode at mission 35 minimum, but I don’t know if theses infos are right, can someone confirm?
Here are some interesting facts about XTREME:
-Like in DW4:XL, meat buns and ointments prices rises as you buy them.
-You get 20% of unification just by conquering one city many times?!? (I got from 20% to 80% just by conquering Cheng Du, my base was at Luo Yang, and my "last battle" was at Jiang Xia against… Cao Pi?!?)
-When you get Lu Bu in your party, try having a second player to control him in every maps, or else, he’ll just rebel once you get a home city. (I got Luo Yang at mission 10, and he rebelled after mission 11…)
Once I find other facts, if I do, I’ll keep posting.
Here are some interesting facts about DESTINY:
-It’s really useful to have fire when you get to the second map, it really helped me.
-You should try aiming for all skills when you choose your objectives, that means get the objectives giving most points. (They might get hard in the future.)
-An easy way to get the 10th female costume: Start as a female in Da Qiao’s forces. About the third map, Zhou Yu should ask you for a fake defect, accept. When you get the chance (probably in the map just after that) betray your enemy to return to Wu. Just the next turn, Lu Xun should ask you to do a fake betrayal to Wei, accept. After you complete that map (for me, it was Jiu Jiang) you’ll get the costume.

DW5XL Extreme mode is one of my favorite mode in the game…
But still I haven’t get the ending scene… even I have pass 42 missions.
Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo are play as antagonist role there, so if we act like criminal (Attack villages or Kidnap girls) they would be happy to serve us :D
But if we have Liu bei, Sun Jian or Cao Cao, they’ll surely rebel…
Yeah you’re absolutely right about fire tactic… It’ll increase points we can get in every stage.
My favourite is play as Lu meng officer… I buy arrow skill and pierce arrow skill and keep pressing "charge" button in every battle… It’s a lovely to see it… :D (But without ice arrow skill) :lol:

What? You do not get unification percentage? Here’s what happened for me. You know that missions for your country are at each 5 missions, do you? Well, at mission 5, I did a campaign against bandits, and was congratulated by the emperor. At mission 10, I took Luo Yang, and began to vie for power (Started at 20% of unification). At mission 12 (yes, special event) Lu Bu rebelled, so I had to kick him out of Luo Yang. At mission 15, I took Cheng Du (now 40% of unification). At mission 20, I took Cheng Du?!?(WTF?!? Well, I was at 60% after that, so I didn’t care much). At mission 25, Luo Yang was under attack by Sima Yi(Didn’t gain any Unification %). At mission 30, I attacked Cheng Du again?!? (Well, anyway I was now at 80% after that, so like I cared if it was Cheng Du or not). And finally, at mission 35, I took Jiang Xia from Cao Pi (Finally! It’s not Cheng Du!) and unified China. After that, I could’ve continued doing missions until mission 999999999, but I was tired, so I stopped there.
As for the size of your city, find a shop where they need you to escort craftsman, and if you do it successfully, you’ll get a facility, and +1 in the size of your city. (Limit is 5, where itt’l say: MAX) After one craftsman, you’ll get a market (Get more money after missions). After two, you’ll get a "mine", I don’t remember what in fact, but It’l give you more iron after battles. After three, it’s a stable (It says you’ll get a jeweled harness periodically, but I never got mine back…). Finally, after four craftsman, you’ll get an Hospital, which will heal a little bit of HP after battles, except if one of your officers get a doctor, in which case you’ll get a meat bun? Once you get the hospital, it should be marked as MAX in the size of your city.
