I can only account for 2 and 3. I bought 9, but haven’t played it much.
with rtk’s, i just feel like it takes so long to truly get a handle on how to play the game. that’s probably why i didnt get into 9 (also because it’s SLLOOOOOWW like all the new ones).
all this speed-up gaming on 16 and 8 bit systems has created an ADD problem of sorts.

Xu Chang is a tough place to start off in. Heavily trafficked area, being sandwiched in between Cao Cao, Dong Zhou, and the great Yuan Shu.
I’d prefer Ru Nan, as it’s a bit safer. or better yet Han Zhong (recruit Zhu Jun in Chang An and you have another city!).

By the way, did any of you guys ever get into GenghisKhan 2: clan of the grey wolf, same era as ROTK2 and 3, but it’s in europe, asia, and noth Africa. Sweet game indeed.

I did get into that game, even found codes for it after finishing it 15 times (aproximately).
