Personally, for Omega, I use MagicSwd/Bolt3(Thundaga in the new GBA version)+X-Fight with No Job chars who are master Ninjas. And for Shinryuu, X-Fight+bests weapons+Coral rings(To absord his Tidal Wave). That way, I beat the two very easily. Of course, these are the easiest ways to beat them. I never was able to beat them a normal way, even at LV99, and all jobs master. I heard Golem is a good alternative (With a mimic, I think, that will re-cast).

This is where you ask questions or make comments, but only if you want.
While I still think highly of Final Fantasy Tactics I do think that FF5 casts a dark shadow on the originality of Tactics. And I still have no idea why this wasn’t released in the US originally, although I admit the story is lacking a bit.

I may try a low-level FF5 quest, but I need to resist the urge to cheat and give my team Ragnarok swords and easy maxing out of jobs :P
For the record, I love putting the Bone Mail on Butz (what a terrible name, bad job SquareSoft). Can’t heal him, but he becomes my tank of sorts, a la Cao Zhang in DoaE-1.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingOctober 13, 2006 at 8:51 pm #22460Taishi CiParticipantI see the class system of the FF games (FF1, FF3j, FF5, FFTactics) as evolving quite well, and I enjoy all of those FF’s the most of the series.
Plus, Tactics has at least a somewhat original story with all the politics and whatnot. Just look at Exdeath and tell me he’s a better villain than the Zodiac monsters.
October 13, 2006 at 9:56 pm #22461Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterYeah storyline wise and graphic wise it’s no comparison, I’m just saying the class system isn’t that different.

You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

October 14, 2006 at 11:55 pm #22464thechieftainParticipantCan You make this game available for download, I know where to get it if you’d like.
October 15, 2006 at 1:22 am #22465Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterYep I’ll work on that I’m almost finished. I might even have time to get FF6 up, we’ll see.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingOctober 15, 2006 at 1:52 am #22466thechieftainParticipantBeautiful, I found an already patched playable file on Romhustler, well when I used winRAR on it there was a tranlated SMC file in the unzipped results.
October 17, 2006 at 7:27 am #22467Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterI forgot how long it takes to steal those fucking Dragoon Spear to beat Shinryuu. Even on speedup that cost me 2-3 hours because the CrysDragon has an Elixir 9/10 times instead.
Well the guide is finally done, including Omega and Shinryuu
