It’s the last of the decent Final Fantasies, well, it managed to keep me interested in it longer than any of the ones after it.

The junction system seemed a little weird at first but I enjoyed it eventually. Yea it’s a good game though I think some of the side characters are a little generic (like selphie). I liked pounding square on the summons, not sure why.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackinglol I didn’t like it at all. I dunno…just really wasn’t appealing to me. When I think FF, I think classic medieval shit. Not futuristic guns with swords on them. Just not my style I guess.
Yea I agree with that assessment…FF7 and FF8 seem to be the only ‘modern’ FF’s

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingIf they’re going to mix guns with swords I think they did okay with FF7 and 8. 7 was very gritty and almost post-apocalyptic feeling (in Midgar). The only really unbelievable parts were the fact that half the characters’ weapons were as effective as Barret and Vincent’s guns. 8 seemed more futuristic, although it was awesome to have a "main" using an assault rifle (I think Laguna was much cooler than Squall), the "gunsword" was just sort of… yeah. :???:
I think 12 went too far with the random forcefields on airships, though. If it weren’t for those (and… the lasers on airships… and, well, the airships in general) I could buy into the late-renaissance firearms people used.
P.S. Where is Zhuge Liang anyway? He hasn’t been around for a while.
