So guys, i was pretty excited making a Wu Mod and added many female characters since nobody else did it but in my recent edit today the inn is having bugs, the inn lady says a huge number or do not even allow me to sleep there because a bug on text(i didnt edited text), i hope some of you can give me a solution because i dont want to lost my mod, i invested a lot of days on it and even used hex editor for changing musics…help please ?

- Princess Cao Zhang, daughter of Cao CaoHopefully something simple. Check DoaEditor in the text portion and check the Inn text and compare it to the original ROM. You can simply cut and paste the text from the original ROM to your ROM and hopefully that will fix it.
Sadly i did it and nothing happened, something is wrong with the “[VALUE] [INN-COST] [INN-COST2] event, maybe something on hex coding

- Princess Cao Zhang, daughter of Cao CaoOuch. Always fun stuff. Have to make a lot of backups and even then you have to play-test a lot to make sure the saves don’t mess anything else up. Wonder if it was some of the hex edits you did. Either that or it seems like if you make a lot of text edits it can have implications, though MiDKnighT would know better than I (good to see you stopping in by the way).

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingBut the only changes i did was from “Sun Jian’s Army” to “Wu Army” in texts like battle victory and etc and the hex changes i did was to keep Guan Yu and Zhang Fei from leaving and music change but the problem began much later these changes

- Princess Cao Zhang, daughter of Cao CaoThe latest DoaEditor takes auto backups of the ROM. Maybe you can grab a previous version that still works.
Check the folder RomBackups.
I will do my best but anyways i plan to restart the mod due to bugs anyways…i wanted to humbly ask if i can post my mod here once/if i finish this? ? humbly, lady Cao Zhang-

- Princess Cao Zhang, daughter of Cao CaoMaking a DoaE mod is very hard and requires a lot of patience and determination! Hope you stick with it and don’t give up. Of course if you finish or would like to release a partial let me know and we can get it on the roms page.

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI think I know what happened here. Adding a bunch of stuff to the shops can step on the inn event. Someone mentioned this in the RH guide. To fix you just put the Inn event back in place:

Eventually we (probably I) need to add a protection in DoaEditor to prevent this.
As always you are a lifesaver for me, Lord Midknight! And you too for the great attention, Master Yuan Shu! I will test it soon and tell you if it worked…now you mentioned, my mod INDEED got a bug on shops where they got excessive items, thank you very much
