OK that's it I'm breaking out the IP range ban on these bazitches
I think with the IP range bans I can finally kill Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren :twisted:
And if they come form a botnet? Then the IP ban wouldn't help because one post could easily be a computer hijacked from a 80-year-old grandma who still hasn't figured out computers, one could be a computer hijacked from a 15-year-old who thinks he's immune to viruses and trojans, and one could be a computer hijacked from Michele Bachmann.
Ya it's a challenge. A few are still getting past the capcha but I'm going to start banning the user + IP banning their IP range. I've noticed that several of the bots are coming back with the same (or similar) IP.
I'm officially at war with those baztards.
Before you do so, make sure that nobody else is in that IP range; it'd suck if someone awesome gets accidentally banned.
So far most of the 'bad' IP ranges are in China.
I notice sonic.penguin sends an awful lots of spam…
Huo Hu is the worst spammer… heck, he's got over 1000 posts and he's obviously a hacker since he uses more than 3 palette colors…
What a shame that they are still attacking with such force. I too noticed most being from Canada. Oh well. Hopefully we keep banning usernames and IP's and it slows down sometime. Will have to consider other methods to keep bots out, we'll see.
Huo Hu is a spammer, he created that crazy Huo Hu forum where he basically dropped a big pile of powder all over Hu Lao Guan.
