Due to my insanity, sometimes I play ridiculous VG challenges starring the eponymous Maso — right now, I’m redoing a conquest of Ultima: Avatar where the only allowed character is Maso the Shepherdess. Yes, I’ve done that before (and even beaten the game!), but this time it gets the screenshot flood that one would find in LPs (even though I have no conenction with them).
I’d estimate that I’m about a quarter of the way through it. After I eventually beat it, I’ll bring Maso to some other challenge. Maybe a solo general DoaE game? Yes, it’d be edited to let me billet everyone I’m not using, but otherwise it’d be totally vanilla!
LP looks like it could be cool, except I scrolled down and they didn’t have DoaE under the game section so I just closed my browser huohu .
I remember that game. Haven’t played it since I was a young lad, but I remember it being a somewhat neat RPG. More refined and enjoyable than Ultima Exodus though I liked that too. With Avatar I liked that you could go around and recruit different allies (I think, at least).
Is the shepherd the weaker, grey haired blu-ish character? I think I’m thinking of the right sprite but I haven’t played in some time. Sounds like a difficult challenge.
