ModeratorI was thinking of performing this one at a show in about a month so I recorded myself singing it. Put on some good headphones and have a listen… What do you think?

ParticipantYou sure do have some good taste of music, don't you? I heard this song before and it's great one.
I enjoy this version of yours also, nice perfomance you put in there.

ModeratorFor some reason, I started laughing at the "at life" section. The sound is similar to Coldplay. Some parts of the vocals sound slightly strained, but the overall quality and production sound clean and crisp, you must have a good mic to pick up the sound or have a private recording studio with uber sound-buffered walls.
Was that darth vader I heard at the end? lol

ModeratorThanks guys. You're right about the slightly strained part. This song has a huge range from low baritone to higher tenor. He pushes my range on the high end in some parts. It would be a challenge to play and sing this live. I'd consider dropping the key a half or whole step to reduce a little strain.

ModeratorSomething I noticed right off the bat. The vocals are slightly drowned out by the music between 0:00-1:00
"hear him see" still sounded a little strained and around 4:37. I understand its meant to be high? Would it sound a lot different dropping your voice an octave? just my 4 cents
I do like the "Aaaaaahhaaaaah" choir hehe
A shot out to sonic penguin at the end would make it a true masterpiece FLEXX
