I was wondering if anyone would want to play any of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms for NES or SNES online. It would be the cools! I can only get a few emulators to play online though.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby
April 27, 2006 at 5:46 pm #18730Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterI’ll play RTK 2 or 3 for Genesis or SNES online. Those are the only two I am familiar with. I don’t know how to do the internet-play though.

Also, the ROM files have to have the exact same name or else they won’t work.

BTW, if you’d like, I’m hosting a ROTK4 game right now!

it has to be the same emulator right? can you have more than 2 people?
I’m going to put my Gens.exe, RTK 2 and RTK 3 on the downloads page also, not sure if Gens allows net play though.

You might be able to do ZSNES with more then two people (it has slots for about eight) . I’ve never tried it with a genesis emulator, because, frankly, the only genesis games I play are it’s Destiny of an Emperor, Gunstar Heroes, and Zerowing. I think the most reliable Emulator you can use for online play is NEStopia, the only problem I have with it is lag (pushing button and the reaction occurs a one second later)

July 15, 2006 at 1:49 am #18740Taishi CiParticipantIs Zerowing really a good game? All I know about it is the intro.
Also, what’s that code in your avatar, Commie? It’s pretty close to the Konami Classic Code.
July 15, 2006 at 1:58 am #18741Perhong_AngtongParticipantLol, Cao Cao from Penguo!
Well, I don’t know much of zerowing, except the scene which had hit the while internet.

July 17, 2006 at 9:50 pm #18742CommieCatGirlParticipantZero Wing is a pretty good side-scrolling shooter, despite being incredibly hard. And I’m pretty sure that the hand in my avatar is doing the Konami Code deal.

July 18, 2006 at 2:08 am #18743Taishi CiParticipantThe Konami Code is: Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A
That 4chan code is Up Down Up Down Left Right Left Right B A B, which is pretty close.
Still, the Konami Code never made Chuck Norris get smacked with an oar, so it has its limitations…
