So the week of E3 Sony of America finally decided to stop holding back on us as far as PSN is concerned.
We got FF7 and it's supposedly already sold 10,000 copies (I'll probably pick it up once I get a PSP).
Recently Wild Arms 2 has been hinted at, which is nearly as great as WA1. Sources indicate FF Tactics is also coming to PSN which will bring the worth-playing RPG count to 6 (WA, WA2, Suik1, C:SOTN, FF7, FFT). And that's not counting games like Twisted Metal 2 which are pretty decent in their own right despite being of obviously inferior genres :)
Hopefully this is an indicator of future picks. Vandal-Hearts would be great and tie-in to the planned PSN sequel. Suikoden 2 would of course be incredible as well.
What games do you guys want to see on PSN?
Yea actually as I read this I too realized PSN has a decent allotment of RPG's already.
Tactics is on the way and will provide a better median for playing the game than the bugged PS1 version, with the crappy Shakespearean translation and the slowed down summons / magic.
Suikoden II would be nice. I'd probably even play FF8 since I don't have that for PS1 anymore. Vandal Hearts would be nice, and some others too, I'll have to think and post more later…
