Lord Yuan Shu
KeymasterNo, you didn’t lose it. It’s in the rebuilt bar once you leave Vedan and come back for Chapter 8.

KeymasterUm, did I lose the Star Key forever if I didn’t get it before Angela’s Bar burned down? I hope not but I can’t find it.

KeymasterThank you.
The damn frog log keeps eating my good weapons. I had like a level 47 sword and a level 33 sword come out to level 36! Is it because it was a special sword? (Libra King’s Sword)

ParticipantIf you are already at the point where you can make level 47 weapons, I’d reccomend that you forget about the Libra King sword.

KeymasterHey Zeche what’s up. Ya I know about that but I wanted to combine it with my level 47 weapon. I was hoping for the 47 + 33 (Libra King Sword) to equal more than 47.

ModeratorYeah, the Libra King’s sword isn’t worth it, because it levels up crappily and has its own path regardless of combinations.
Once you have the Earthshaker, there’s no reason to bother leveling up Jaster’s stuff anymore. It’s kinda sad that the second weapon you get combines to the best sword until the postgame…
I don’t remember what the highest level weapon for all the other characters is. I think it might be 49? Once you get the swords for Zegram that have giant mouths on them you’re good :P

KeymasterWell it sounds like I’m getting close to the max, and I should stop messing with special weapons like the Libra King Sword.
One complaint I have is I just now beat The Cave Bandit Paul the Ripper in Vedan Mines and I got a fricken level 28 Winter’s Chill Shuriken for Zegram…That battle was hard, I expected a nicer weapon than that.

KeymasterThis might be a silly question but can I get items (like Alluring Lamp and Sealing Sunsphere) to drop at a higher rate? I’ve been fighting the enemies that should be dropping them, but it never happens

ModeratorThere isn’t any way to do that.
Sealing Sunspheres you can buy infinity of in a shop on Zerard by the last chapter.
As I recall, the Revelation items you can’t buy infinity of by the end of the game are:
Dark Music Boxes
Dragon King Skulls
Alluring Lamps
Holy Rods
Lucky Clovers
Galactic Compasses

KeymasterGalactic Compass…those are the last ones I haven’t seen yet. I take it those were the rare ones in the last cave.
I’m going to look for this Sealing Sunsphere shop when I finish chapter 12.
I finally got the Desert Claw outfit! Still have two hunts to do…

ModeratorYou can get a couple of sealing sunspheres at the same shop earlier. It’s the materials shop that’s closest to the Insectron stadium entrance.

KeymasterI just bought a bunch of Rose of Passions and Sealing Sunspheres. Can I buy the Mermaid Scales anywhere?

ModeratorI don’t remember whether you can buy mermaid scales or not, but I don’t recall having too much trouble getting a whole lot of them…
I think most fish-type creatures drop them later in the game. If I can remember any more details, I’ll get back to you on this one.

ParticipantJust bought a game and wow, it’s so awesome. I never thought such indepth games exist. I think that revelation system and factory thing are by far superior to the army of characters (Suikoden 5) or a standard rpg skill-tree (LotR the 3rd age and etc.).
Currently arrived in Verdan. Zegram is my most favourite game character now. Never thought that Xiahou Dun had a twin :) Anybody knows where can I get him for the avatar?

KeymasterRogue Galaxy was pretty damn fun, maybe a little too easy with all the dominant spells. Dorgengoa is a class act.

There’s a pic of Zegram. I have a few more in the walkthrough spread out but that’s probably the one that most focuses on him. Should’ve saved them bigger :)
