Maybe the wrong forum, but I thought this might be somewhat relevant to DoaE.
Is it possible to read the Tenchi Wo Kurau manga online these days? I wanna see Huo Hu on paper.
I would love to make this happen if someone had the raw images for it.
I only managed to find the first volume "in the wild" on my last trip to Japan.
Huo Hu's not in the first volume, though. My guess is he's a Capcom fabrication.
There's some pretty weird stuff. Among other things, Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang each sleep with a dragon goddess to attain some otherworldly power (implicitly, Cao Cao had done so previously). And yeah, they met in Luo Sang before the YT Rebellion really took off.
So, surprising as it may seem, the game adheres to the novel better than the manga.
Haha I remember when we came across this and thought we found the origin of Huo Hu.

You'll have to do something about Cao Cao.
And Sun Ce.
And probably Yuan Shao.
And maybe Yuan Shu.
And possibly even Liu Yao (if war was delayed enough that he'd agree to make Taishi Ci his CIC…)
Well, Sima Yi only reached the position he was in because he was regent AND he had been the highest-ranking strategist for many years; Liu bie already had Zhuge Liang, though, and Zhuge would still recommend Jiang Wan and Fei Yi as his successors (who filled the spots until 253…which was two eyars after he died).
On a side note, Siuma Yi had no intent to serve anyone; he only served Cao Cao becasue of Cao Cao's order that he doi so (and his correct prediction that refusal would mean being arrested).
Of course, if Cao Cao *AND* Sun Ce *AND Yuan Shao *AND* Yuan Shu aren't around to run forces, nobody knows what would happen! XD
…hmm, you may have to remove some of yuan shao and yuan shu's other relatives too; Yuan Yi, in particular, was one of the few people highly praised by Cao Cao (which may have been a mistake, seeing as he was killed BY HIS OWN SOLDIERS!)

The first set of re-uploaded links (second post) seem to work.
Just keep in mind, of course, it's all in Japanese. And another standard caveat, it IS a manga with some sexual themes.
Having read the first volume, this will probably be impossible to follow without knowledge of the language because it deviates so much from anything historical. You might be able to follow parts from DoaE portraits and RoTK knowledge.
