ParticipantHow do you get DOAE on a DS, I think that would be the end all of awesomeness

ModeratorIt’s probably a flash-card of some type or another. I know they’re floating around (one of my roommates in college got one)… and you can load smallish operating systems, complete with NES emulators, on them.
Haven’t considered getting one yet, but then I never thought to try DOAE on one. Where did you buy it?

ParticipantWell, well, well. Is that the R4 DS Adaptor? I should be getting one pretty soon. It allows you to play any emulator game pre-playstation and n64 on the DS. At least that’s the impression I’m under. I can’t wait to play rpg’s on the can, oh man! By the way, I’m actually being serious haha. I can’t think of a better place or time to power level.
What!? Zhuge Liang controls even the heavens?

Yes! It is an R4 with an emulator installed. :)

It is a flash card which features a Linux-based operating system. All the data is stored on a Micro SD card. In addition to loading DS ROMs (shh… that is a naughty thing to do!) you can upload Homebrew programs. There are a few Homebrew emulators available, though most are a little sub-par. There is a decent NES emulator, however, and running it (it is a home-built DS ROM) allows you to load NES ROM files to play.

You need an R4. It is a specific product. :)
