a good contrast to the overrated characters thread of course. anyway the only person im going to bring up now is this guy and i think the stats say it all

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingJust like Yuan Shu, Yang Song is vastly under rated, he did whatever he could for his lord… even sell him out, now that’s not that bad… Compared with everything the man and his illustrious family did… but in this game he’s given better treatment then he is in every other… wait… 45 War? What did he do to deserve that?
I’d say most generals who were active after 220 (and 234, especially) are underrated since they’re not as popular as the first generation.
How about the Kuai’s? Or Chen Gong? I’m not familiar with their ROTK stats but they were obviously smart people in the novel.
I agree with the later years being underrated. At the same time I think officers not directly related to one of the three kingdoms are underrated (like Chen Gong (Lu Bu) and the Kuai’s (Liu Biao)). I’d also say Cai Mao as he seemed formidable both in war and smarts until he was assassinated
As for Yang Song, well, he’s "double-dealing"

Huo Hu's Adventure started Destiny of an Emperor hackingI have always thought Ma teng was underated, He only really has good war. He must’ve had some kind of political ability I would imagine.
Yang Song was pretty good in Rottk 8, his POL was like 83. Cui Yan surpassed him though, they both have great pictures.
