ModeratorOnce I got the hang of FEIDIAN, it was all downhill from there, just taking a lot of time and creativity from there. Hopefully gameplay is just as good >.>

ModeratorHey Midknight, how can we
A. change the gold gains in extra chapters ie: Wei Extra so players dont get 100,000+ gold each battle.
B. change the amount of HP elixirs restore.
C. Make life not target empty slots aka they heal instead of reviving a person who is not even there.

ModeratorI can look into "A" in the next few days. Actually Meteorstrike documented "B" somewhere, just a matter of finding it. "C" would be a major pain to do. That enemy targeting algorithm was pretty tough to figure out. Using life against alive people would throw a big monkey wrench into everything.

Moderatorah, not what I meant. Lets say you have only 1 officer. They tend to revive "non-existent" characters. I mean some kind of check maybe? So they dont revive empty slots?

ModeratorNope, they revive empty slots quite frequently, which doesnt break the game, but definitely cheapens some battles as they dont heal themselves.

ModeratorVerifying this… I had a person try and use Raise even with ALL the officers alive. Of course it failed, but this happened with the most recent patch.

Moderatormidknight did you ever figure out why they revived?

Participantit could be that the computer isn't registering that no one is there if you could figure out how to make it register

Moderatoractually, I looked through the whole code made by MidKnight and while it is all correct, I still have the issue of guys reviving empty slots, aka, if its not a 5 person battle, lets say, a random encounter, and there is 1 officer who can resurrect + 2 rebels. They sometimes will select slot 4 and revive an empty slot, even though no one is there!
I would really hate to have to reapply the patch currently as it will totally change all of my tactic changes, TP changes, leveling, soldier bars, etc.

ModeratorMidknight, did you ever figure out why the Main stat screen w/ all 7 generals always reads level 01?

ModeratorNot yet, work sent me to Atlanta so was swamped all week. I should be able to look at it this weekend.

ModeratorAh no problem, I figured work caught up, so whenever. Other than the level thing Im still wondering why the raising keeps targeting those empty slots.
I'm running my own beta atm on the mod editing townsfolk and balancing battles and such, hopefully this can be out sometime in another 1-2 weeks.
