ParticipantI have the game. Got it done like in two days. It’s very fun, I like using Wei the most. Worthy of every point it got. The game-play with the R1’s are very useful.

ParticipantYeah it does. It has them together, their worlds go into a whole one. Other’s take the side of the demon Orochi, other’s make their own force just to survive. There is so many twists into this game. If your a fan of either series, I say you should try it.

ParticipantPretty much yeah. But it has some of the SW add’s such as the new R1 moves. Other than that, it’s just DW and SW put together.

ParticipantI’d say the game is SW engine based rather than DW. The AI is responding exactly like in SW2 (excessive blocking, running attacks, alternated fire from archers and musketeers and so on) with some minor changes. Overall I like the game but the main concept of swapping characters doesn’t appeal to me. Doesn’t feel right when characters transform into each other. It would way better to develop the idea of team musous in SW2E and allow the player to switch characters, but delegate the control of the prior character to the AI instead of just removing him/her from the screen.
The characters are very unbalanced. Some tear anything apart, while others can’t even deal with 10 archers. Many characters became very weak because of the 2 noticable changes in Orochi: 360 degrees shockwaves and stomps are usually nonelemental and have very short radius now and the damage taken from arrows has been increased dramatically.

ParticipantI own the game and my favourite part is that my two favourite characters are on the same team. Zhao Yun and Yukimura is my ULTIMATE HAPPINESS. I love the Shu ending. My only complaint is that it should have multiple story branches like SW1 had, though the Gaiden stages were fun, the characters you got from them don’t affect the story until you beat all the story modes.

ParticipantWell there already working on the sequel,Warriors Orochi:Rebirth of the demon lord coming out on the PS2 :-D .
Changes:
New story plot
Added SW2XL characters
Added Fu Xi and Nu Wa
Maybe more but thats all I know
If I come across this game and have the money I’ll buy it but that’s unlikely.
