CommieCatGirlParticipant
I think his avatar leaves a bit to be desired.
I only trained my character until they were like level 13 or something for that one boss in the cave, he totally schooled me the first time I went to him. I go through the game pretty normally but, I alway try to have the best equipment.
The emulator I’m using is Kega Fusion v3.51, the game refused to work for whatever version on Gens I had.
You have to remember, though; the very thing that makes you a nerd is that your enthusiasms are totally unrelatable and non-marketable to most of the world. For example, anime and celibacy. - Seanbaby

Right now I’m at a tomb(?) that’s placed conviently behind Zhuge Liangs house. Everyone but Zhang Fei managed to get new limit-breaks. Guan Yu got his at around level 26, Liu Bei got one at level 29, and Zhao Yun got his at like level 24, I think. It’s pretty nifty, even if I have no idea who the hell I’m fighting most of the time.

CommieCatGirlParticipantI’m a bit past that screenshot, it takes place after you beat Yuan Shu(?) in the cave. It goes through the whole plotting against Cao Cao or whatever and you fight a boss in your house, then as you leave the town it goes to that where Cao Cao (the fancy looking guy on the right) ambushes you and seperated Guan Yu.
Right now I am with like Liu Biao, or when he dies. I think.

CommieCatGirlParticipantHeh, heh. After you get Guan Yu back from Cao Cao the path splits so that you between a ridiculous cave, with yin-yang symbols uses as teleport pads, with who I think is Zhou Yun (Though you may have to talk to an old guy in the town that’s near by) and a mountain path.
Zhou Yun is pretty nifty, although he’s slightly weaker then Zhang Fei and Guan Yu he has two limit attacks, one that’s like the one everybody else has and a another where he jump-slashes the enemy that’s almost twice as strong.

CommieCatGirlParticipantThe shops are easy, In the main menu in the shop the left option is buy and the right option is sell. The item that’s sold for 15 gold is a potion that heals by 50 and the revives are sold for 600 gold (I think). And you can tell the equipment and who can use if/if it is better then what they have by the little window in the bottom of the screen with the characters dancing.
For the inn the top answer is yes and the bottom answer is no to use it, and I also think they all have a flat fee of 10 gold

CommieCatGirlParticipantLaughs, I also noticed that you learn magic from the jars you find laying about. If you open one and it opens a tall menu with like three options it’s wanting you to select a person to learn that spell, I think.
(spoilers?)
Also, past the part with the Yellow Turbans I think it skips the battle against Dong Zhou and Lu Bu and goes straight into fighting Yuan Shu(?) in some cave
Then afterwards when you go back and talk to Cao Cao, you end up back in the house and another boss battle comes along going into the whole thing where Guan Yu get’s seperated from them. That’s how far I have gone.

CommieCatGirlParticipantThat’s much better even if I am limited to dinky 70×70 avatars.

CommieCatGirlParticipantCould you make it so that users could upload their own avatars. As much as I like Pang Tong I’d prefer a catgirl avvy.

CommieCatGirlParticipantI liked RotTK 8, my favorite part was craftsman who would say things like "I frequently get burned by the furnace" or "we have finally perfected the technology to build ram" and the ruler would be like "Ah, what is this ram you speak of?". Comedy gold.

CommieCatGirlParticipantYes but the best thing that koei can do besides make another DW game ( no offence) is to make a Doe for ps2 or xbox or gamecube or.. just kidding
