ParticipantCan’t say I’m too saddened to hear that the Bigot Brigade has departed…I hope the door didn’t whack them in the arse on the way out.
Well, actually I do.
As for me, well, I see no reason to leave. I generally enjoy the time I spend here, and the main site is indeed fantastic. It’s truly a testament to diligence and passion. :-D

Wasn’t Pan Zhang involved?
I believe he was, however I have in my head that Ma Zhong was the man that actually, physically captured him. Like I said, I could be wrong.

chen wu captured guan yu, did he not?
Wasn’t he dead by that time? I’m pretty sure that, novel-wise, it was Ma Zhong that captured Guan Yu.
I’ve been known to be wrong, though.
Anyhoo:
Overrated – Guan Yu.
Did very little in the way of notable service in his career, apart from lead Liu Bei’s navy at Chang Ban and claim a half victory at Fan Castle (when he flooded the Wei armies).
Underrated – I’ve always said that Ding Feng has been overlooked for too long; his loyalty to Wu and his talents on/off the battlefield deserve better recognition.

Yeah it is the "anything goes" section but that doesn’t mean anyoine wants to hear nasty remarks made about them in it.
Exactly.
I’m white Caucasian with a mixed European heritage – mostly Irish, Welsh and German.
People often mistake me for a Japanese because of my impeccable manners. :D

ParticipantGuan Du was an incredible battle. If only Yuan Shao had heeded the sage counsel of Ju Shou…then that battle would’ve had a FAR different outcome. He had the resources and the personnel to flatten Cao Cao, but he chose to act like a pompous buffoon and go all-out attack just because he had a superior number of troops at his disposal. Moron.
Wu Zhang Plains is a favourite of mine too – a tense and ultimately dramatic standoff if ever there was one.

ParticipantSerious or not, it’s still offensive to those who respect people no matter what colour their skin is. I’m Caucasian, however I detest racism in any form – it’s narrow-minded, xenophobic and extremely outmoded.
I’ve already said my piece on this sort of behaviour elsewhere, so I’m leaving it well alone now.

ParticipantWang Yun’s was pretty sad, novel-wise.
Zu Mao died a valourous and noble death to offer his Lord, Sun Jian, succour from certain death.
Wei Yan’s is sad, but only because I know the truth behind his death. He was certainly no traitor, that’s for sure.

ParticipantShenmue is certainly not overrated; it was one of the most significant releases in modern gaming. Yes, it ‘bombed’ at retail, however it opened many doors for future gaming experiences.
The Dreamcast will always be the ‘almost’ console for me. It had bags of potential, but Sega, for some unfathomable reason, decided it was OK to accumulate one of the worst games libraries a console has ever seen. The only noteworthy titles on the DC were Shenmue 1 & 2, Power Stone, Resi Evil: Code Veronica and maybe one of the Virtua Fighter installments (I forget which one).
Question: was there ever a Panzer Dragoon game on the DC?

ParticipantIn it’s day, it was certainly a fantastic game. However, for me, DW4 signified the true escalation in overall quality.
Still, like I said, fantastic in it’s day. :D

ParticipantFor a second, I thought the title of this thread was ‘Planet Emo’…suffice to say, my goddarned heart almost stopped!
What a terrifying thought…an Emo planet!!!

Indeed.
Indeed, if one says ‘indeed’, one is apparently of the half rice half chips persuasion!
Indeed, it’s rather obscure, is it not?

Yup. I see none either, perhaps the next poster.
…Indeed… :D
So, let me get this straight, if one uses the word ‘indeed’, then one is a homosexual?
Hmm, vrr logical…

I have a somewhat blunt Katana and a Tanto that’s in mint condition. No blood stains on it or anything.
I never heard of a Tanto before. Anyway, I also have three Katana’s how is yours? Is it the Bushido kind? The way of the samurai kind, I believe. T_T
This is a Tanto, my man:

I can’t really categorize my Katana; it’s a relatively cheap one that hasn’t even got a proper blade on it. Once I get the money, I’m investing in a decent Katana or a Nodachi. :D
