Destiny of an Emperor 2 Attack on Cao Cao Generals
9. Attack on Cao Cao Generals
The Attack on Cao Cao is from the end of the Shu campaign to Cao Cao’s death. Please note that this area and the following one have been beefed up significantly and you can’t go through the gates and castles like a retard, as you could in the Shu area. So keep your head up or it’ll be An Sha-ed
Cao Cao – 9800 soldiers
Str. 215 – Int. 230 – Agi. 155 – A.P. 230 – A.C. 230
TP – 300
Weapon – Sword
Land: Pln
Hou Shen, Wan Fun, Ji Mian, Jie Ce, An Sha, Jie Zhen
Analysis: Ah, how times have changed. The man you once met at Xu Zhou now stands in front of you at Luo castle, and this time the retreat option will not suffice. You can do this though, and yes, Cao Cao is target number one. Or you can leave him alone and watch him An Sha your men. Go after him and Xun Yu, who is even more dangerous tactically. An alternate option would be to An Sha the three lower-intelligence generals and deal with Xun Yu and Cao Cao at the end. If you get all three in turn one, great. If not you may be too late depending on Cao Cao’s maneuver.
Cao Chun – 7500 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 80 – Agi. 95 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Axe
Land: N/A
Analysis: Not a tough or unique general by any means. Just right in the middle, mediocrity. He stops you at An Ding castle and comes with a bunch of other useless generals than can be had by a tactic or two. Kill a few of them and all-out.
Cao Xiu – 9000 soldiers
Str. 185 – Int. 170 – Agi. 110 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 180
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, Ji Mian, An Sha
Analysis: Cao Xiu lurks near the first castle, Nan’An. He is decent overall so take him out first, the others should be Huo Shen-ed and that should be about it. Watch out for his An Sha, but his intelligence is probably too low to succeed with it on one of your generals unless you have some Zhang Bao types.
Cao Zhang – 9400 soldiers
Str. 235 – Int. 150 – Agi. 175 – A.P. 225 – A.C. 230
TP – 140
Weapon – Spear
Land: Pln
Da Re, Yin Xian, Yi Wen, Ji Mian, Li Fan, Fu Sha
Analysis: Well I’ll be, a general that matches up with the best you have to offer. Well not quite but still, combined with Xun Yu’s nephew Xun You and Cao Zhi, this battle is no pushover. Xun You and Cao Zhi will barrage you with An Sha so take them out first despite the mad stats and attack that Cao Zhang possesses. If you have an An Sha based tactician you may wish to get rid of Cao Zhang in turn one with either Zhuge Liang or Jiang Wei.
Cao Zhen – 9200 soldiers
Str. 165 – Int. 140 – Agi. 120 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
TP – 160
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, Ce Fan
Analysis: Cao Zhen protects Bei Di citadel and you’ll have a few battles against him. He is with Zhang He, who is much better than him, so kill him first and then take out the weak yet versatile Cao Zhen.
Cao Zhi – 8200 soldiers
Str. 40 – Int. 205 – Agi. 95 – A.P. 140 – A.C. 220
TP – 260
Weapon – Crossbow
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, An Sha, Ce Fan
Analysis: Cai Zhi is with his brother Zhang at Beiyuan citadel. Kill the tacticians first, and Cao Zhi would be one of them. If not he may use An Sha and severly cripple your party. That is the key in this land and the battles beyond; An Sha is dangerous and really is the only thing that can limit your army, as getting 1 or 2 generals An Sha-ed quickly in a battle can mean death. That said kill Xun You first as he has a higher intellect but Cao Zhi should be followed right behind.
Chen Xi – 8200 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 60 – Agi. 85 – A.P. 210 – A.C. 210
Weapon – Axe
Land: N/A
Analysis: Chen Xi is hanging out with Xiahou Mao and Jiang Wei at Tian Shui. Thus he will be impossible to beat until you get Jiang Wei, but once you do the battle is easy and Chen Xi is a Huo Shen away from taking next to nothing off of your generals.
Chen Yi – 7300 soldiers
Str. 100 – Int. 90 – Agi. 85 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Chen Yi is at Beidi citadel with Cao Zhen, and really does not distinguish himself in any way. Plus, Zhang He is there and he is far more important. Ignore Chen Yi and all-out when he is left.
Dian Wei – 9400 soldiers
Str. 230 – Int. 65 – Agi. 135 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
Weapon – Spear
Land: Mtn
Analysis: Attacks you with Cao Cao at Luo, and what a battle. You actually fight this battle too, so beware of Dian Wei’s strength. If you get off a Huo Shen or Ji Shi, he’ll probably be hurting though.
Du Xi – 8200 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 150 – Agi. 110 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
TP – 180
Weapon – Saber
Land: N/A
Da Re, Yin Xian, Yi Wen, Ji Mian, Li Fan, Fu Sha
Analysis: Du Xi is at the retaken-over Han Zhong. Xiahou Yuan and Yang Xiu are also here though, so Du Xi automatically takes priority below those two. However Du’s versatility and Ji Mian can prove to be a nuisance so deal with him after the first two.
Fu Gan – 8400 soldiers
Str. 165 – Int. 60 – Agi. 55 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Analysis: Fu Gan backs Cao Xiu at Nan’An but really, do not worry. Cao Xiu is not that good and is the best general here, so An Sha or Huo Shen the other clowns ’til oblivion and things should be over shortly. These brute types, they don’t last too long with the new tactics you have. Fu Gan in most RTK games is a civil officer by the way, not a dumb brute…
Fu Wan – 7600 soldiers
Str. 120 – Int. 170 – Agi. 125 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
TP – 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Da Re, Yin Xian, Yi Wen, Li Fan, Fu Sha, Xian Jing
Analysis: Well, a decent general. But unfortunately he is protecting Hua Tuo’s house by himself and his lack of An Sha will prove fatal for him. All-out right away if you want, I wouldn’t expect any problems.
Gao Shun – 7500 soldiers
Str. 120 – Int. 75 – Agi. 95 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Gao Shun is another mediocre fighter, this time he is with Xiahou Mao at Tian Shui. Again, this battle is impossible at first and then is easy once Jiang Wei joins, so there is no strategy with this general other than Huo Shen or An Sha.
Guan Xing – 9719 (med/high)
Str. 235 – Int. 175 – Agi. 150
Weapon – Sword
Land: Mtn
Rank – 6 / 34
Analysis: Well, the son of Guan Yu doesn’t disappoint. He is lacking slightly compared to Guan Yu but you can’t complain, Guan Yu was a top 5 general. Put him in and you’ll use him until he’s forced to leave you and Guan Suo will then join anyway.
Han Hao – 7200 soldiers
Str. 75 – Int. 60 – Agi. 60 – A.P.
180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Okay so Han Hao can be lumped into the “bad” category of generals in this area. He is at Yangping, the first citadel you reach, and once you take out the leader (Xiahou Shang) you can probably all-out the other three. Note that this Han Hao is completely different from the Han Hao at the Chang Sha battle. But they both suck in battle so they have that in common.
Hao Zhao – 9400 soldiers
Str. 210 – Int. 175 – Agi. 125 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
TP – 160
Weapon – Sword
Land: Pln
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, Ce Fan
Analysis: Beware, another tough and well-rounded Wei opponent for you. Try to An Sha him but it won’t be as easy as the rest of the jobber generals in the area. Do take notice of Yang Xiu’s reappearance and remember his An Sha-like ways. That said, take those two out and treat the other three as outlaw forces.
Heng Huan – 7200 soldiers
Str. 100 – Int. 100 – Agi. 75 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Heng Huan appears at An Ding with Cao Chun. Another worthless general, much like this whole crop in An Ding, just throw a Hou Shen his way or all-out him, either way it won’t be too hard.
Hou Cheng – 7600 soldiers
Str. 175 – Int. 110 – Agi. 75 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: Mtn
Analysis: Hou Cheng is a solid fighter yet is least likely to threaten you at Beiyuan citadel. This is because he has two good tacticians and Cao Zhang with him. However, an An Sha or Hou Shen would do him well. Again, this Hou Cheng is different from the Hou Cheng at Han Zhong.
Hua Xin – 7800 soldiers
Str. 70 – Int. 180 – Agi. 75 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 220
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, Ce Fan
Analysis: Hua Xin is at Chen Cang with Hao Zhao and provides nice tactical support, although Yang Xiu is the sharper tactician. Do however take out Hua Xin after the former two are done.
Jiang Wei – 8400 soldiers/9863 soldiers (high)
Str. 210 – Int. 240 – Agi. 245 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 230
Weapon – Sword
Land: Mtn
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, An Sha, Ce Fan
Rank – 1 / 34
Analysis: Well, Zhao Yun was the best general in Destiny of an Emperor. In the second installment I’d have to say Jiang Wei has the best overall stats, hard to dispute that. His agility is off the charts. In addition his intelligence has been bumped up. A max 255 with the Treatise. A 5 person party involving him and Zhuge Liang with either of the two as tactician (based on whether you are going to be An Sha-laden or more defensive-minded) is as close to unstoppable as you are going to get on this game. So use him the minute you get him after the solo fights (which consequently shouldn’t be TOO difficult, considering he is by himself).
Jiangyi Qui (Okay I’m not entirely sure but I know they butchered this name. Guanqui Jian? I’m not sure) – 8600 soldiers
Str. 170 – Int. 80 – Agi. 65 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Analysis: He is one of the tougher generals at An Ding but that is not really an endorsement of his ability. He lacks the intelligence to guard himself. Tactics will cripple him so you want to do that because then you can all-out sooner.
Jin Hui – 7100 soldiers
Str. 80 – Int. 105 – Agi. 90 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Jin Hui is at Yangping citadel, at the beginning of this chapter, and is no threat to you. Get your laughs it’ll get harder.
Li Tong – 8400 soldiers
Str. 165 – Int. 145 – Agi. 100 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
TP – 160
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Da Re, Yin Xian, Feng Jian, Yi Wen, Ji Mian, Fu Sha
Analysis: Li Tong is a versatile general, guarding Han Zhong with Xiahou Yuan. His tactics aren’t that devastating and his attack shouldn’t hurt you too bad, but he is balanced so don’t underestimate that.
Liang Xing – 8400 soldiers
Str. 175 – Int. 55 – Agi. 100 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Saber
Land: N/A
Analysis: Liang Xing is another protector of Chen Cang and a decent warrior. 55 intelligence is quite low though, so exploit it according to which tactician you have. Liang Xing used to work for Ma Teng I believe.
Liu Ye – 8600 soldiers
Str. 40 – Int. 165 – Agi. 65 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 180
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, Ce Fan
Analysis: You fight him at the first Wei citadel with Xiahou Mao, and he is actually the hardest general here but still no problem for your army. 165 isn’t much, whip him and all-out.
Lu Qian – 7600 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 125 – Agi. 95 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Da Re, Tou Shi, Yin Xian, Ji Mian, Li Fan, Xian Jing
Analysis: Lu Qian is one of the tougher opponents at An Ding castle. Again that isn’t saying much but his tactical ability is high for a warrior, in this area at least. Hou Shen him or An Sha him and you won’t see him again. Once more, this Lu Qian is completely different from the previous two fights.
Lu Zheng – 8400 soldiers
Str. 165 – Int. 80 – Int. 115 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Analysis: Another decent general yet one who is too easy to destroy tactically. Defeat Cao Xiu in this battle (Nan’An) and then worry about the second-tier warriors such as Lu Zheng.
Ma Wan – 7500 soldiers
Str. 140 – Int. 65 – Agi. 105 – A.P. 120 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Finally an easy general at Chen Cang. Ignore him to focus on Hao Zhao and his tacticians. Once they are gone, you can probably all out Ma Wan to death.
Ma Yan – 7200 soldiers
Str. 125 – Int. 100 – Agi. 85 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Analysis: Ma Yan is a below average general tagging along with Xiahou Yuan. There are more important things to be worried about than Ma Yan, so treat him like a rebel force and all out when he is alone.
Mao Jie – 7600 soldiers
Str. 130 – Int. 100 – Agi. 90 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Mao Jie is at the first citadel with Xiahou Mao and adds nothing to the battle other than a generic fighter to take your hits or tactics. He wants to have that identity so do your part to fulfill his destiny.
Mu Shun – 7200 soldiers
Str. 95 – Int. 70 – Agi. 60 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Mu Shun is pushin’ it at Nanzheng citadel. You’ll notice the generals at this gate and Yangping are completely useless so treat them accordingly.
Qui Ji – 7000 soldiers
Str. 70 – Int. 75 – Agi. 55 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Ouch. This might be the worst yet. I’ll have to research this…Qui Ji indeed.
Shen Pei – 8600 soldiers
Str. 120 – Int. 180 – Agi. 115 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
TP – 200
Weapon – Saber
Land: N/A
Da Re, Yin Xian, Yi Wen, Li Fan, Fu Sha, Xian Jing
Analysis: What an avatar. I just realized it’s awesomeness and I can’t explain it really. Also, Shen Pei was a former servant of Yuan Shao and it’s surprising to see him here. He is a decent general but alas is alone so careful with his tactics but your new weapons should take him down easily. Also note that Samuel of the Lordyuanshu.com forum says that Shen Pei is a mistranslation and is supposed to be Xin Pi. A general who was actually in Wei late in the RTK period.
Wang Bi – 7100 soldiers
Str. 95 – Int. 80 – Agi. 125 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Wang Bi is another classic Nanzheng citadel general. His stats however are actually close to 100 unlike someone (that’s you Qui Ji). He still shouldn’t be a problem despite his agility so all-out if he’s left alone or with other all-out-able generals. You’ve gotten this far, you know which generals are all-out-able and which aren’t.
Wang Kuang – 7300 soldiers
Str. 105 – Int. 80 – Agi. 65 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: At Nan’An with Cao Xiu, he provides little threat to you. Again, a tactic or two will do him in.
Wang Lang – 7600 soldiers
Str. 40 – Int. 165 – Agi. 25 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
TP – 180
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Bai Ma, Feng Jian, Yi Wen, Jing Mo, Ba Gua, Ji Mian
Analysis: The tactician of Cao Zhen, albeit a weak one. He may be the type of tactician you ignore due to his lack of intelligence. Personally I think Wang Lang needs to go back to Romance of the Three Kingdoms 3 and hang out in Kuai Ji with Zhou Xin and Yu Fan.
Wei Huang – 7000 soldiers
Str. 85 – Int. 90 – Agi. 60 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Yet another poor Nanzheng general with no tactics and a weak strength. Sad. Well, enjoy your freebie.
Xiahou De – 9000 soldiers
Str. 170 – Int. 135 – Agi. 110 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 140
Weapon – Sword
Land: Mtn
Da Re, Yin Xian, Feng Jian, Yi Wen, Ji Mian, Fu Sha
Analysis: Xiahou De is at Tian Shui with Xiahou Mao and will provide a threat until Jiang Wei is captured. He is still a tough general but a spell or two will make him not so tough.
Xiahou Mao – 9000 soldiers
Str. 100 – Int. 80 – Agi. 70 – A.P. 210 – A.C. 210
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Xiahou Mao is a son of Xiahou Yuan and follows you around this initial part of Wei and also fights you at Tian Shui. I don’t get the hoopla over him really, his statistics are not good and he rarely is even the second most important general in his battles. If that is all Wei has to deliver then you’re going to be ok! He is usually given good weapons though to make up for his crappy strength.
Xiahou Shang – 9200 soldiers
Str. 175 – Int. 140 – Agi. 100 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 140
Weapon – Sword
Land: Pln
Da Re, Yin Xian, Yi Wen, Ji Mian, Li Fan, Fu Sha
Analysis: Okay so they have to have someone decent at Yangping right? Well Xiahou Shang is that guy. Still though he is nothing you haven’t seen before and with his complementary generals you can probably send your whole army his way and kill him in round 1, basically ending the fight. One of my favorite Xiahou’s though.
Xiahou Yuan – 7800 soldiers
Str. 215 – Int. 150 – Agi. 105 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
TP – 180
Weapon – Spear
Land: Pln
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, An Sha, Ce Fan
Analysis: Definitely a tough general on your hands here. I’d probably go after him before Yang Xiu in fact as he has An Sha also (but is less fluent with it). He can also rip your generals apart physically, so get his soldiers down ASAP so he can’t at least do that. Once he and Yang are gone you should be in the clear.
Xun You – 8400 soldiers
Str. 90 – Int. 230 – Agi. 75 – A.P. 220 – A.C. 220
TP – 290
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Ji Shi, Wan Fu, Ba Gua, Ce Fan
Analysis: Well, he is an elite tactician definitely. He is at Beiyuan citadel with a few other good generals. Xun is the toughest tactician of the bunch and he can paralyze your allies with low Int. Take him out with physical attacks in round one and bombard Cao Zhang with tactics.
Yang Xiu – 8600 soldiers
Str. 75 – Int. 225 – Agi. 80 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
TP – 280
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Hou Shen, Shui Long, Wan Fu, Jing Mo, An Sha, Ce Fan
Analysis: Yang is a tough general who will be a deadly assassin in the Han Zhong battle. An Sha is his main weapon and he is not afraid to use it. You fight him at Han Zhong and he should be either the first or second priority in each battle.
Yang Xiu – 7600 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 85 – Agi. 90 – A.P. 200 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Well, this is the Yang Xiu that shows up at Chen Cang, not the smarter one that you saw earlier at Han Zhong. This version is very generic but can take off a bit physically, so hit him with a Huo Shen and go on.
Zhang Bao – 9906 (highest)
Str. 240 – Int. 90 – Agi. 145
Weapon – Spear
Land: N/A
Rank – 12 / 34
Analysis: Well, Zhang Fei’s son is here. Personally, I like him more than Fei. He is a bit weaker but his intelligence and agility help. Chances are you’ll be using him like Zhang Fei and thus he will be in your party until the end.
However, you can neglect to pick him up at all (just don’t talk to him, but if you do he’ll force you to allow him to join) if you wish, which is a strategy I like to use. After being the second or third in soldier ratings, he finishes at the top with Liao Hua.
Zhang He – 9400 soldiers
Str. 225 – Int. 160 – Agi. 120 – A.P. 230 – A.C. 230
TP – 160
Weapon – Spear
Land: Mtn
Hou Shen, Wan Fu, Ji Mian, Jie Ce, An Sha, Jie Zhen
Analysis: Ouch, another tough general. He was in Yuan Shao’s force in DoaE 1, but Cao Cao’s in this one. Careful with him he is devastating physically and again it must be said that he has An Sha. Not to mention his A.P. and A.C. are high for the area and you have a toughie on your hands. Get him with Hou Shen or An Sha yourself, with either Jiang or Zhuge, and he should be gone, but do make sure he is a high priority.
Zhang Yi – 7300 soldiers
Str. 160 – Int. 75 – Agi. 90 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 180
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: Zhang Yi is the big shot general at Nanzheng, with 160 Str. That’s about all you need to know, just An Sha him and all-out this group in round 2.
Zhu Guang – 7200 soldiers
Str. 105 – Int. 85 – Agi. 55 – A.P. 180 – A.C. 200
Weapon – Sword
Land: N/A
Analysis: A tough general. Wait I’m lying he is easy. You fight him with Xiahou Mao at the first gate past Han Zhong and he is a jokester extraordinaire so all-out him if you will.
