Dynasty Warriors 6 Xiahou Dun: DW6 XiahouDun Musou

Many are disappointed that Dun’s classic sword is gone; especially now that he’s stuck with this spiked pole thing. Of course, he’s a completely different character now and you’ll see that as soon as you start swinging that thing around in a circle. It is definitely slow, though he packs a bit more power. One good thing about the weapon is that square provides the crowd clearing element while Renbu knocks the enemy into the air and then bats them around. Renbu can take off quite a bit if you are close enough. So he still has potential, but the loss of his normal weapon plus the newer / slower style likely will result in an adjustment period for Xiahou Dun fans. His personality as one of the early Wei leaders has not changed from the early DW’s – few are as close to Lord Cao Cao.
Xiahou Dun is the only Wei character to have access to Battle of Xia Pi.
How to Unlock – Starts as one of three Wei characters.
