Battle of Shi Ting

In the year 228 AD, Wu faced Wei in the land of Shi Ting. Amidst the growing chaos, a brave young generation of Wu officers came forth to bathe in glorious victory. ”
Strategy: This is a re-make of the DW3 “Battle of You Ting”, and I think it was a great idea to get this back in the series. A classic battle of deception, with Zhou Fang feigning defection into Wei and confusing the leader Cao Xiu. However this is not an easy task but one that requires luck and solid timing. Lu Xun starts in the northeast, Sun Quan in the center, and Sun Shang Xiang in the southwest.
Lu Xun begins right in front of Zhang Hu and his leader Xiahou Hui. Defeat them, wait a bit for Sun Shang Xiang to catch up, and then continue north to defeat Fei Yao and Wen Pin. Xu Huang will show up also, make sure to wait until he gets there so you can oust him. A little after this, or maybe before, you’ll hear of a traitor in the Wu ranks. Find him immediately (Red Hare helps) as he will rat on you if you don’t. After this, save Sun Quan from Wang Shuang and kill Jia Kui outside the attack base. Lady Sun probably has the southwest taken over at this point, so Zhou Fang will defect. From here, charge Cao Xiu, unless Sima Yi ambushes you first. If he does that, take out Wang Lang and Cao Zhen to secure Sun Quan.
Sun Shang Xiang has a similar quest to Lu Xun. She has Xin Pi and Xiahou Ba near her, and Xu Zhu comes her way once they are done. After this, head back to the center and do the battle the same way you did before.
Sun Quan goes backwards in this battle, killing the center generals first and then cleaning up the exterior. The ambush is less threatening since you’re Sun Quan and thus don’t have to worry about the lead general.
If you are too slow or screw up a part (advance too far too fast) Cao Xiu will retreat into the back. Also, Cao Pi sometimes comes in as reinforcements, and if he does he’ll be the main general. Nothing to worry about still, and chances are you’ll get things done before he gets there and will never have to deal with Cao Pi or Sima Yi in the northwest.
