ModeratorActually, not quite sure, it just glitched randomly sometimes @ the end of the battle, other times in the middle. Can't seem to pinpoint why

ModeratorTwo suggestions Niahak:
1. Any way we can add the "Damage Tile" that is found in caves that does that troop damaging effect to the map editor so we can add it to the world map and use it for like the death swamps in Nanman territory?
2. Any way we can make the Fire and Water sprite colors editable, or even the sprite themselves, in DOAEditor other than changing the palettes around in the hex?

ModeratorBoth these sound possible if you can find where in the ROM the corresponding stuff is.
I think 1 -> Need to figure out what the tile code is. There may be a different tileset for caves than there is for world map stuff, unfortunately.
2-> Need to figure out where these sprites are stored… if we're lucky they're sorta like generals and we can reuse the color stuff

ModeratorUnfortunately the value I'm looking for in 1 is the code that the map uses for the tiles in question. So if we know where those maps are stored, that might give us a good start.

ModeratorScratch that. found my problem :)

ModeratorAny way to get DOAEditor to read the DP table in order instead of being all jumbled up?
For example:
00=10
01=20
02=25
03=35
04=40
05=45
06=48
07=50
08=60
09=70
15=80
0B=85
16=90
28=95
0D=100
0A=110
A6=125
43=130
4B=133
A9=144
57=156
56=157
0C=160
52=160
4A=166
40=169
0E=170
54=177
0F=180
48=185
45=188
59=200
C3=215
C8=230
7C=235
51=244
1F=255

It's not actually reading the table in order – unfortunately that much is not really possible the way I'm using .NET. However, it is sorting it so that it ends up in the same order. So it's the same difference.

ModeratorAwesome! Its working…. It's WORKING!!! :finger:
Will be sure to let you know of any bugs that have crept in. I'm still trying to figure out why the duplicate text appears beneath an edited line upon exporting and then reverts back to normal upon clicking on it >_>

ModeratorSomehow I'm missing the extended chapters portion with the newest update. While I do have a regiontable that specifies they should present, they are not appearing in the map editor.
01=Yellow Turbans
09=Yellow Turbans (Extra Chapter)
02=Dong Zhuo
0A=Dong Zhuo (Extra Chapter)
03=Yuan Shu
0B=Yuan Shu (Extra Chapter)
04=Yuan Shao
0C=Yuan Shao (Extra Chapter)
05=Jingzhou
0D=Jingzhou (Extra Chapter)
06=Shu
0E=Shu (Extra Chapter)
07=Wu
0F=Wu (Extra Chapter)
08=Wei
00=Wei (Extra Chapter)

ModeratorThere is also a bug with the text editor where if you edit a line and don't click on another line before exporting that the line often reverts to the previous line before you edited it. It's really weird.
December 24, 2012 at 6:50 pm #27425MiDKnighT
ModeratorThe extra chapters text file comes from the IPS patch, it doesn't come from DoaEditor.
December 24, 2012 at 7:32 pm #27426sonic.penguin
ModeratorYeah, I know that, but they aren't appearing in the Map Editing section of DOAEditor w/ the newest update.
