I think somewhere near Fu Shui, but you need the Japanese version.

Where is the place to encounter theses bandit forces exactly?
When KMA comes online again, there is an article in the DoaE section?
It is southeast from Liu Kui?s fortress.

You mentioned that Gan Ji doesn?t show up in that Luo Yang gate battle at times? I tried as best I could in my English version of the ROM, and I could not get him to go away. I?m wondering at this point if we have different ROMs, and a small bug in yours happens to be patched in mine. On a side note, who knows?maybe that bug is the only way to get a level 11 Xu Zhe!
May 11, 2006 at 1:17 am #17723Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterYou could not get Guo Ji to not be there? He’s rarely in that Xu Rong battle; both on emulator and cartridge. I think it’s just random, kind of like how the Sword sometimes isn’t in front of Pang Tong. Others that don’t show up (more often than not they HAVEN’T been showing up) are Wang Gui in Luo Yang, Zhou Chao in Chang An, and Guo Ji. Not that it matters at all but it’s more DoaE glitchy-ness.

I would like to compare the file information for kicks and giggles. I have always wondered about the vanishing items, for example. I have had the problem many many times, but when I have it, it always follows the same paths, and generally speaking, there are guidelines that can always be observed. On the other hand, I read reports from people that aren?t anything like the form of the bug I experience.
I suspect there may be different versions of the English ROM?
May 12, 2006 at 6:43 pm #17725Xian Zhu XuandeParticipantOkay, I finally got to the Super Rebels. It took me some time because of everything else that distracted me along the way, but I figured it would be fun to post some screenshots of the battle I decided to fight (I, of course, didn?t save, as I am trying to get the highest possible MTP). Either way, the battle took me no more than around five or six minutes. In fact, even if you encountered the highest-soldier rebels/brigands possible in the area (ranging a little over 50,000 troops in groups of five) you should be able to defeat them with a completely un-leveled party.
Here are some screenshots of some various battles, and their status screens.
Here is a step-by-step rundown of the battle.
1) Cast Ji Rou
2) Have everyone cast Bei Ji on themselves.
3) Take out the lowest-soldier Rebel/Brigand Forces first with direct attacks.
4) When there are only two to three left, just go all-out.
5) If you start to get beat up, hit ‘B’ to cancel, and heal with Yin Xian.
As you can see, level 50 could be attained here in your sleep.

I don’t know exactly how many but it’s more than 50 and around 75. I have tried this a few times and it works, for some reason I seem to have a better chance of the iron ore not being in the chest than being there when I play this game, although no weapons have ever disappeared on me.

Wow! I never heard of this one. I wonder if it is linked to the vanishing/re-appearing treasure and search item bug? I’ll have to go back in some of my own games to see if I can pick it up a second time as well. I don’t think I’ve ever tried before…
February 2, 2007 at 5:50 am #17730Xian Zhu XuandeParticipantI just went back for a second Chi Tu Ma.
The game has rejected my hope of equipping Zhuge Liang with a cool ride.
Edit: Hah? do you have a screenshot?
April 13, 2007 at 9:01 pm #17731Lord Yuan ShuKeymasterWhoops forgot about this thread. You probably thought I was lying. Sorry about that…
I was just going through my files and I knew I had it somewhere but I have 3 different DoaE’s on my computer with full saved states and it happened to be one of the last states I checked…anyway I had it on Zhuge and Jiang like you probably would do…here you are, use it on KMA if you’d like.
